"Where'd you learn your trade?"
It was a simple question with a not so simple answer. For a few moments, Gel remained silent, thinking about the best way to answer Siv's question.
"My trade, you ask? Well, for me to speak of that is for me to speak of my life story. Allow me to start at the very beginning."
Gel began with how he had been raised by the Death's Hand, a group of Sith aligned Mandalorians who had taught Gel how to forge weapons and armors at a young age. It had been a task Gel had a natural talent for but a disdain of doing, due to the fact that all of his creations were used in his view for evil, being sent to Sith and Mandalorians alike opposed to everything that was held good in the galaxy. Of course, being such a youngling, Gel didn't really have a choice in the matter, and for the first fifteen years of his life, Gel worked for the Death's Hand, doing whatever it was that they told him to do.
Yet, the collapse of the group gave what Gel thought to be an opportunity, and he had begged his family to leave their lives behind and forsake the Sith once and for all. Unfortunately for him, his family disagreed, resulting in them selling him into slavery to the Sith. For the next fifteen years of his life, Gel would labor in the forges of the Sith Lord

, continuing to hone his craft and attempting to escape numerous times, though each attempt was unsuccessful...until
Siv Dragr
and his Mandalorians came and rescued Gel from his fate.
It was not a story he liked to tell, and truth be told he was still very much ashamed of what he had done and of all the weapons and armors he had made for his most hated enemies. But Siv had asked him, and Gel was prepared to tell him everything, to lay all his cards out on the table and to be honest about his past and his upbringing.
"And thus ends my tale, at least until the present. You are aware of the rest, Lord Dragr", Gel concluded as he awaited for Siv's next response to everything that he had told him.
