- Beskar plated
- Constructed primarily out of Spacers Leather
- Provides coverage for both the foot and the shin
- Each boot contains a hidden Vibroblade that can be retracted inward and outward
- Knives can be retracted inward and outward regardless of it the boots have battery power
- Contains all the standard features of a Vibroblade weapon:
- Surprise: Mandalorian VibroBoots are virtually indistinguishable from normal footwear until their user chooses to activate the hidden Vibroblades concealed within them
- Blood-Poison: The blades used in Mandalorian VibroBoots tend to be coated in Devaronian Blood-Poison particles, making even a glancing hit quite dangerous for organic units
- Sturdy: Mandalorian VibroBoots are quite sturdy and capable of defending their wearer against a variety of different weapons and environmental hazards
- Climbing spikes: When activated, Mandalorian VibroBoots function surprisingly well as climbing gear, such as when exploring the glaciers and mountains of Kestri
- Waterproof: Though they have a small opening on the front, Mandalorian VibroBoots are actually waterproof, keeping their users feet warm and dry in aquatic conditions
- Heavy: Because they are plated in Beskar, Mandalorian VibroBoots tend to be heavier in weight than comparable examples
- Blood-Poison: The Devaronian Blood-Poison particles used on the Mandalorian VibroBoot's knives must be frequently reapplied for maximum potency, and are useless against droids and inorganic entities
- Battery power: Mandalorian VibroBoots, like many pieces of technology in the galaxy, require a functioning Power Cell to achieve full potential. Should the boots run out of power, they lose the benefit of Vibroblade technology, though their knives can still be used as unpowered weapons
- Unwieldy: Walking and moving with Mandalorian VibroBoots can be tricky when the boot's hidden knives are activated, forcing their user to practice walking in them
First developed by
At a glance, it nearly impossible to determine that the Mandalorian VibroBoots are equipped with any sort of weapons, to say nothing of fully operational Vibroblades. When their user activates the boots, however, two retractable Vibroblades spring forward from seemingly nowhere, giving their user an advantage during close quarters combat when weapons may be binded together or otherwise inaccessible. Furthermore, each Vibroblade is coated in Devaronian Blood-Poison particles, making the knives quite dangerous to organic units.
Unfortunately, Mandalorian VibroBoots tend to be rather heavy and aren't quite as effective against inorganic units as they are against organic ones, along with needing battery power to reach their full potential as offensive implements. Regardless, the offensive capabilities that the boots provide and the element of surprise that they bring with them enables anyone who wears the boots to become exceedingly dangerous when engaging in melee combat, along with gaining some limited climbing capabilities.
