Suggestion One Big Timeline Thread

Pretty simple idea here.

We have the Timeline, which is excellent, the art and layout is epic and it's a good way to keep track of major events.

That being said, could we create a single, evolving thread that marks down major changes so it's all in one place, without the art? It would include all major events, in order, and it would be an excellent reference to the state of the galaxy.

The second part of this plan is a "planetary changes" list. We can all go to the map and see what the planets are...such as their landscape, population, etc. But these are typically Wookipedia links that don't change based off the events on Chaos. Why not create a list of drastically changed planets. It wouldn't be every planet, only ones that have considerable changes that would affect RPing.

For example, if Coruscant were to be bombarded for a month by someone, Coruscant would go on the list.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Planet: Coruscant

Cause: Bombarded by -Faction Name- on 864 ABY in an effort to demoralize The Galactic Alliance.

Effect: Millions killed, several layers of the planet collapsed, burying the other layers.

Current status: Ruins, inhabitable, rebuilding efforts have begun.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's as simple as that. This has several purposes:

* A guide for RPers to know their surroundings and even to help find a suitable planet for their needs, such as a faction looking for a planet in need of humanitarian aid.

* A way to remember some of the more significant events regarding individual planets.

I realize the chances of this passing are slim, but I'm interested in seeing everyone's' thoughts.
