Smoke over Pantora still smolders, and it was but a taste of what the Sith Empire had planned for the Coalition. It was known that agents of the Galactic Alliance fled south and many now lived in the Outer Rim among the Judges of the Coalition. Their lawlessness allowed the once exiled Alliance to thrive, this cannot be tolerated. The very existence of such a state, the existence of the Jedi and their ilk still reign unchecked.

It ends now. Project Site - Triumph, where the Sith-Imperial Construction Yard, designation Yvarro began to build its forces in earnest. It would be where the Sith Empire would build one of the largest stations ever. A weapon of immense power and destruction, a weapon to end this needless war between the Empire and the Coalition. Kadavo would be where the Sith Empire would dispatch its lesson, not just to the Outer Rim Coalition but to the Galaxy at large.

On this day members of the Sith-Imperial Armed Forces and Dark Council have gathered at Kadavo to not only oversee the construction of this weapon. They are to discuss the very future of the Empire, and the Galaxy at large Project Site - Triumph would only be the beginning...

Dozens of warships meandered through the twilight gloom, sublight thrusters glowing blue-hot against a backdrop of an umbral black starfield. The largest among the flotilla were the flagships of the Inner Council, each one capable of fielding the firepower of a planetary defense fleet in their own right. For now, they simply listed lazily above a dusty world ringed with orbital platforms and wheel-shaped dockyards. Cargo freighters moved about the stations like bees in a garden, stopping at one station before moving onto the next, and so on and so forth. Each one was critical in the construction of the massive vessel they surrounded, the Empire's newest weapon of terror and war.

Project Triumph.

Built in secret, the superweapon would soon possess the power to force the galaxy's capitulation. The Empire's victory at Pantora had only emboldened the Sith Emperor who was now arriving at the Project Site to oversee the final stages of the weapon's construction, his massive dreadnought appearing out behind the gloom of Kadavo's planetary shadow behind the construction site. A swarm of fighters flanked its portside, a singular shuttle coasting through the swarm on approach to the project station. A flurry of encrypted communications passed between the two points, the shuttle continuing on its pre-calculated trajectory even as its credentials were reviewed and approved for landing by the command tower's overseer.

The shuttle soared into one of the cavernous hangars lining the station's exterior, landing gear protruding from its underside to cautiously land upon the durasteel deck. After several puffs of expelled hydraulic air, the boarding ramp descended down to the floor. From the shadowy interior of the vessel emerged the Sith Emperor, his powerful form clad in a charcoal gray tunic and breeches, gaberwool greatcloak, and matching synth-hide boots and gloves. Before him was arrayed an entire phalanx of Imperial Legionnaires and their finely dressed officers, one of which stood ahead of the pack; an Anomid decorated with the rank of Minister of Industry.

"Supreme Excellency, we are most pleased to host you once again. I assure you, the Project is continuing on schedule as discussed during your last visit." The Minister's voice was heavily synthesized, projected from a mechanical apparatus that enclosed his entire head.

"I should hope so, Minister Sakarbaal. I am most eager to see Triumph in action." Rumbled the Emperor in response, his crisp strides carrying him easily across the wide expanse of the hangar bay, those following him having to walk at a brisk pace to keep up with him.

"The others have been directed to the Sanctum at your convenience, they are as eager as you, your Highness."

"Excellent."

Srrrt. Tap tap.

The sound of playing cards being shuffled could be heard inside the shuttle that made its way into one of the station's hangars. Sitting at a small table was Darth Avacyn, Triumvir of Strength, with the deck of cards in hand, though the cards were not dealt. Instead, she looked at the stack of cards, run her right thumb across the side to create the satisfying snapping sound as each card collided with the one behind it, and split the pile in two in order to shuffle it again. A bridge shuffle, after which she tapped the deck onto the table twice to create a neatly stacked pile.

Srrrt. Tap tap.

The moment of solitude had given the woman the opportunity to reflect on all that had preceded this day, from the attack on Rhen Var, to the war that it caused, to now. The Outer Rim Coalition had to be made to fear the Sith, so they would cower instead of oppose. The safety of the Empire's people against war and lawlessness was at stake as long as the conflict raged on.

That was the exact reason Avacyn had come to the Project Site Triumph.

The landing sequence engaged and it would not be long before the boarding ramp would lower to allow Avacyn to exit the shuttle. The cards were left on the table as the Sith Lady got up from her seat and walked towards the slowly lowering boarding ramp. From the shuttle's interior came the Triumvir, clad in her armor that she wore both in battle and in official meetings. It was meticulously maintained to show not a single imperfection, a look fitting for the Triumvir of the Sith warriors.

After exiting the shuttle, Avacyn was guided towards the High Command Sanctum, where she would find Darth Carnifex and those had also arrived before her. A respectful bow of the head was cast towards the emperor in greeting.

"Milord."

From the main hangar bay of the Elidibus, the personal Super Star Destroyer of the Triumvir of Power, a single shuttle departed with an escort of Sith-Imperial TIEs of the Rift Mages Wing. Contained within was the Lady of Secrets herself, Taeli Raaf, deep in meditation. The summons to Project Triumph, the discussion of the Sith's next move in the Grand Plan, was heavy on her thoughts. Yes, they were building a technological terror in the old vein of Darth Sidious, and yes they had begun to strike out once again against the long standing enemy that was hiding in the Outer Rim. But there was always more to it, more work that needed to be done to fuel the endless need for the Sith to dominate, to brew conflicts until the citizenry of the galaxy gave up their freedoms and willfully embrace the Rule of Order.

This project... it would send a strong message to the galaxy. But the attack, wherever the Inner Council and the Emperor and his Shadow Hand decided it would fall, needed to succeed. The dark side whispered possible paths into her mind, showing her different streams in the currents of the Force. It also spoke of other recent events, others that would no doubt be discussed at this secret meeting of the Sith's highest echelon.

"Beginning approach," the pilot up front announced, transmitting the encrypted clearance codes.

All around them was a testament to the mass industrialization the Sith had brought to their domain, the might of the Inner Council brought here on top of the defense fleet stationed in system. No longer was the Outer Rim in this region neglected, a forgotten part of the galaxy that had seen far too much chaos in recent decades. Sith space was, ironically, one of the most stable regions and growth was constantly demanded. Kadavo had relinquished its hidden deposits of materials to fuel this new construction, the slaves that once passed through this world now working a death sentence, for there was only one end for them. There would be no loose lips to reveal the surprise the Sith were brewing.

Violet eyes opened as the shuttle landed, the Lady of Secrets descending in her dark Sith robes, her hood raised. The honor guard stationed to escort her to the Inner Sanctum led the way as she walked, her thoughts still far away, traversing the various paths the future offered. So much pivoted on what would happen here today.

"My Lord," she said once she reached the sanctum, bowing before Darth Carnifex.

Purpose | Observe Project Triumph

The metallic footsteps of the armored Anzati General could be heard, moving at a slow and daunting pace as they echoed through the corridors. Vexen had been observing the back and forth conflicts of the Coalition and the Empire though he did not play much of a part in them, having had his focus delegated elsewhere. The Sith had been quite busy behind the scenes with his own subterfuge, particularly stoking the fires of war against the Mandalorians with the rest of the Galaxy at large. And it was playing out perfectly as he had anticipated, and his intentions kept hidden from all but a very select few that had a part to play. But for now, he was pulled away from his duties to bear witness to Project Triumph.

His interest for the Coalition was little, not seeing them as much of a threat, and perhaps the use of Project Triumph to be a little more overkill than anything; but alas, it would serve as a grim reminder that the Sith Empire was not to be trifled with.

Vexen would soon find himself in the Sanctum, taking his place in the room as he crossed his arms across his chest. His fellow Sith would arrive one by one, though Vexen was never one for formalities. He simply acknowledged their arrival and presence in silence as they came, awaiting any sort of meeting to commence.

Project Triumph.

A closely guarded secret among the upper echelons of the Sith Empire. Alongside the Lord Inquisitor Saarai the security of this project was of paramount importance, and was overseen directly by the Shadow Hand himself. A massive web of logistics, resources, and more was created to move resources from one location to the next. It ensured the project was compartmentalized, and compartmentalized again in pieces so no one ever had too much information. Those who did? If they weren't meant to then they simply disappeared, or were paid a visit by a team of Inquisitors, and weren't the same after. But it wasn't the only project that drew his attention. The United Clans of Mandalore drew his attention and through his secret apprentice [member="Khonsu Amon"] he was able to stoke the fires of war. The Golden Company helped rip Bogden and Obroa Skai from the hands of the Mandalorians and none were the wiser, the connection back to him next to none.

To try and understand the motives of the Lord of Lies was a foolish endeavor.

No one would see him arrive, no hails were made, no word was given. The Sith Emperor's own escorts didn't even react when the Shadow Hand suddenly appeared in the chamber moving to stand beside the Dark Lord. While others gave their nods, bows, motions of respect towards the Emperor, he did not. Even that very trivial thing spoke volumes to the amount of power and influence the Shadow Hand had. He did little beyond registering the existence of each arriving individual.

Lord Admiral Raaf was seen not too far behind her wife, the Lord Admiral fielded reports from engineers of the project. Triumph was to be a masterpiece of destruction, a paramount of importance it was indeed. Here on this day as the Lords of Darkness gathered, Kadavo felt the weight of the dark side. The flagships of the Sith Empire hovered with content for there was no worry in this moment. Each one was worth its weight in worlds, and beyond the lazily listed wheel-shaped dockyards were the orbital platforms. The Emperor had gathered the Inner Council here, they consisted of the Triumvirate, [member="Taeli Raaf"], [member="Kaalia Pavanos"], and of course, [member="Darth Voracitos"] - the Shadow Hand. [member="Darth Prazutis"] and Lord Generals [member="Kor Vexen"], [member="Vestille Thumahra"], and Lord Admirals [member="Fiolette Raaf"], and [member="Darth Athora"].

While shuttles flanked by TIEs arrived one by one, ferrying each member across the umbral black starfield. Triumph remained in the background steadily being constructed as swarms of shuttles, and construction droids kept busy. Anomid, Minister of Industry Sakarbaal had brought the Emperor up to speed just as each member arrived, gathered in the High Command Sanctum. A surprise guest perhaps to some, Air Marshal Pavanos of the Starfighter Corps who had worked closely with the Lord Admiral Raaf since the early days of the First Order. It was her men and women that were now patrolling the midnight black abyss that engulfed this very station.

The stage was now set for the Sith Empire's meeting to begin, a discussion of plans, weapons, execution and counter-attacks against the Coalition. The meaning that Triumph would have and the destruction that it would bring.

Lord Admiral Zahori Denko, clad in her obsidian armor, stepped off her shuttle. Her young apprentice, Anila, followed her swiftly. Her standard entourage of troopers was left behind as she would not need them for the event about to transpire. As she walked, her cape lightly billowed with each step. Then, only a door stood between Athora and the High Command Sanctum. "Stay here." Zahori commanded of her apprentice. The young pantoran nodded and moved off tot he side so she would not be in the way of others coming to the meeting. Zahori slowly waved her hand through the air, causing the door to slide open. She briefly looked out of the viewport on the far wall of the room, eyeing the construction at hand. Her gaze then averted to the Sith Emperor who she bowed before.

"Greetings, your Majesty. I am honored to be called to this meeting." she stated respectfully.

The table was strong, reinforced turadium with a dark wood finish polished to a mirror-sheen. A dozen chairs encircled it, each one connected to the floor and padded to exquisite comfort. At the table's head was an even larger seat, fit for a ruler. It towered over the others in sheer size and was wide enough to seat the monolithic man that was the Sith Emperor and bear his immense musculature without compromising its structural integrity. All around them were video-screens that transmitted footage taken from the station's exterior surveillance systems, primarily the continual construction of Project Triumph.

As befitting his status, the Emperor was the first to seat himself at the gathering while the others waited expectantly for his social cue. He recognized all of their greetings in kind, an inclination of the head and a short, yet cordial, reply.

"We return triumphant from our punitive expedition to Pantora. The Alliance and their squalid allies have been reminded that we Sith are not to be trifled with, a lesson that they will hopefully remember." Pantora had been grievously wounded in the Empire's assault, its cities besieged and sacked, its people tormented and enslaved. The Empire returned with many great riches, plundering several worlds as its warriors underwent the long journey home.

"But we cannot remain idle, the Alliance and the Jedi certainly will not. I have summoned you here again to announce that Project Triumph's construction will be accelerated immediately, the weapon must be completed."

"If there is anything of which I can assure you of, Emperor, is that the weapon will be completed." Voracitos, for the first time since Rhen Var, appeared before the Inner Circle in the flesh. That was not to say, however, that Voracitos was truly in attendance. The manner in which he chose to appear before the Emperor and the rest of the Imperial Government, also spoke volumes of how the Sith Lord viewed the importance of the governments agenda: only enough to cast a single set of eyes to.

"My collected wealth and resources are being funneled into Project Triumph, to ensure the expediency you desire. I would lend my own research as the Triumvir of Knowledge, if you would desire it. You most of all, should be quite aware of my past aspirations... I would recommend caution so as to not fall into my shallow footsteps. Though, I suspect our resources now are not as limited as mine were once upon a time." The flesh simile of Voracitos smirked in a familiar way, its presence in the force seeming all too familiar in the manner in which it flared with delight. It was not here necessarily to deceive of course, at least a few within the Inner Circle knew the grievous transformation Voracitos had undergone as a result of Rhen Var, but it was an otherwise closely guarded secret that not only had he changed, but utilized the power of the Fell Star to carve into Chaos his own abode to better suit his new form.

In whatever form Project Triumph took, Voracitos was making certain that his influence insidiously made its way within it.
