Oh look its... what are they called? (Minna)

Minna thought for a moment. "Any other useful force abilities." She said, thinking for another moment. "The one you used to dodge the rocks faster. Helpful in combat, it would be. Especially Ataru, my primary form." The Apprentice looked towards [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] questioningly, wondering whether or not she would be willing to teach the ability.

"Force speed? Thats a very useful thing indeeed as it lets to move faster and react at an increased rate, at the strain of your muscles if you push it too hard. It involves you pushing the force into your muscles to bring them to an operation of speed that can not be achieved without the aid of the force." She thought for a moment at how she had learned it... that had taken alot of running indeed. [member="Minna"]

The small apprentice thought for a moment. "If no time now there is, next time our focus, it could be." She didn't want to force her master into teaching her alot at once. The path to being a Knight was a long one, and so Minna thought best to take her time. "Up to you, it is."

"We can do the basics for now, moving the force into your muscles and controlling it, then once you can do that on command and with ease that is when i will teach you how to operate with Force Speed, you have to crawl before you can walk or run after all." She waited for the womans answer but already began to think of the best ways to teach this woman the transfer of force energy into her body to help improve her control on it. Something like this was dangerous, perhaps more so than lightning for Sith, as one wrong move and you could rend your muscles by trying to make them stronger, crippling yourself completely.
[member="Minna"]

"Hmm, similar to moving the force into an object to move it? Except, into yourself, you move it." Minna asked, thinking that if she was correct, she could get the hang of it rather quickly, as she was good at moving the force into objects. She waited for [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] 's reply, thinking for other ways to see it in case her suggestion was wrong.

"Yes and no, you are moving the force into you but instead of manipulating and controlling it you are channeling it and letting it flow into you and through you, that is what is so dangerous. Most try to control it, to bend it to their will and while this works it is not truly letting the force improve you without harming you." She waited for the woman to understand her and reply. [member="Minna"]

"I see. Well, to try is the only way to know." Minna unfasten the front of her grey robes, placing them aside and revealing her black tunic underneath. If she was going to be running or doing anything physical, she'd need the freedom of movement her robes didn't provide much of.

Alexandra raised a brow and shook her head. "Were not putting it into practice right now, no for now we are going to help improve your ability to channel and change the course of flow without bending it to your will, treating it as it is, a force of life and creation in the galaxy. It is not something that could be bent to your will, there must always be a balance, good and bad, creation and destruction are two sides of the same coin that is up to you to flip." She started doing just as she said, tempting the force, drawing it to her without forcing it to listen to her. Like tempting an animal with water while also respecting its will and sentience, letting it choose whether to come to aid you or to let you be left without the crutch, respecting it so it can return such. [member="Minna"]

Minna nodded understandingly and closed her eyes. She opened herself to the force, but instead of using it like she had done before, she asked it, respecting its choice to help or not. A rock infront of her began to move slightly, and rose to a few centimetres from the ground. It looked as if it were to rise again, but it dropped, and Minna opened her eyes. "Used to controlling the force, I am." She shook her head, as if dissapointed in herself.

"The force lives just like us if not more so, perhaps it is what creates any life, perhaps it it was shapes our deaths. It worked and forged the past, it destroys and mends the present, and it predicts and prophesies the future. Never once is it blind but has no eyes to see with, nor is it missing but at the same time unattainable. It is something that we coexist with and it lets us control it at times, as it knew we would, but now is the time to let the force and its own life be shown in you be letting it flow through you, letting it aid you and not be told to listen to you. Try again." [member="Minna"]

Minna nodded, closing her eyes again and concentrating. She opened herself to the force, allowing it to run through her body as it pleased. The rock infront of her lifted into the air higher this time, hovering silently. The Apprentice let the force do as it wanted, understanding its choices and showing that she would not command it to do anything. The rock lifted higher, then moved over another rock, before being placed on top of it perfectly. Minna realised this had happened only a few moments later, thanking the force in her mind, as her eyes opened to see what she had done. No, what the Force had done. "Worked, it did. Doubtful I was, but now, I see." She looked almost surprised at the rocks.

Alexandra laughed a little at how well she did it on the first try, or rather more so the suprised look on her face at doing that. "It will be harder to do in battle or to sustain such focus on not controlling but working with the force, which is why for now we are going to just sit here and let it flow through us until sun down, a good five or six hours from now. We will do nothing, move nothing, just let the force flow through us and let it hold us in a calm hang between everything, life and death, dark and light, anything that might hold a challenge for us." [member="Minna"]

Minna's look of surprise turned into one more of joy. "Hours of becoming one with the force, hours well spent." She nodded, sitting into a meditative position with her legs crossed and arms resting on her lap. "Begin now, shall we?" The Apprentice asked, obviously eager to partake in the next few hours.

Alexandra nodded and smiled at the eager form in front of her, her hands crossed in her lap and eyes closed as she breathed in slowly and let the world be felt around her. She worked to bring herself to a complete calm, even slowing her heart to allow for her body to grow more lax and let her mind become more susceptible to the force as she opened herself completely, all mental walls torn down for now. [member="Minna"]

Minna adorned a more serious look, closing her eyes as she breathed in deeply. With the outflow of her breath, she opened herself to the force, clearing her mind of all worries and thoughts. Allowing herself to be an empty gateway for the force to pass through. She felt calmer than she had ever been. At this moment, she felt like nothing else mattered. Minna was at peace.

Alexandra felt as [member="Minna"] opened herself up s well and had her mind connect to her students, speaking to her as she began intertwine her mind with her students. "Good, now though i wish to bring one more thing to question, a bond between master and student are normally formed without need of either party doing so on their own, but i wish to create one that is stronger than the innate bonds, one that will allow for us to better learn from eachother and understand eachother's faults in their thinking or in how they work. If you will agree to this bond i shall form it and at any time you no longer view this bond as necessary we can unravel it, that is why this bond is needed to be accepted by both parties." She spoke without words as the thoughts were sent to Minna, the bond would help Minna grow as well as letting her understand Alexandra and her teachings easier but it did hold the negative side effects of stronger feelings of pain when one is hurt or injured, this was a conscious linking of minds, that is why it was that Alexandra asked Minna if she so wished to form such a bond while in this state and if so it would take the hours Alexandra had set aside for meditation to complete. [member="Minna"]

If Minna wasn't so calm, she would have been startled by the voice of her master. However, it came to her softly, and she replied using thoughts instead of words. "A bond, I accept." The Apprentice kept herself open and relaxed, ready for the hours ahead to form such a bond.

"Very well, in making this bond we will experience eachother's pasts and understand what had happened to us. Do you wish for me to delve into your memories and very being first, or you into mine?" She waited for the answer, letting her mind remain completely open for the student to move towards, and for the feelings, memories, sights, pain, everything that had ever shaped her to be felt and seen in the next few hours." [member="Minna"]

Minna thought for a moment, before replying. "Into mine, you may look first, master." The Apprentice continued to keep her mind open, allowing her memories, feelings and very existence to be entered by her master at will.

Alexandra nodded and carefully let her consciousness drift into [member="Minna"], her mind forming the bond and scouring what memories would be seen the feelings of the past. Soon though she found herself standing and watching as Minna's mother was ill, watching as the woman slowly died and handed her the saber she had seen Minna with the entire time. All the while she watched these events her Minna would know what she saw, would know she was feeling as minna did, and letting the next memory come to her slowly, it was a careful process.
