First Reply Oh come now, you can't kidnap an orphan — they weren't wanted in the first place!

The wars in the galaxy had given plenty to the medical corps... as the black suited doctors and healers moved around various battlefields they had managed to get a number of experiments completed... testing their antidotes but also various poisons.... Then they had gone to mulita where they had encountered a creature of exceptional value and hunger. The great progenitor had been transported and sealed in the lowest levels of their biological weapons vaults at Al-Khali. Its children awakening and as Seras experimented on her they were angry... rage filled even and she struck a bargain under threat of finding out what would happen should the being forming their root mind perish. A big experiment no one knew what might happen with the outcome after all. So they served some as guards in the gardens of Al-Khali handling intriuders and infected that might come while leaving the ones harvesting plants alone.

Some though as the world here would find out served other purposes... where war might not reach sometimes you had to create strife and conflict. Three drengir in a farming world like Hetzal Prime and its two moons rooted and fruited. The harvests here would serve the drengirs insatiable appetite for meat, poison the food production for sectors and leave many starving, without work.. desperate. The long term plan of conflict to create chances for them to partake of subjects who could be offered work and were not to keen to look at the details served them well enough. A potential of forty billion subjects to experiment upon. THey had a fair amount of things that could be brought out but as the ship entered the system and launched the escape pods the beasts were restless in the pods.

"Now now." SHe said it feeling them in the force trying to press into her, they wanted to add her to their collective thoughts and overwhelm her... to make her serve them and it worked on some who were new or inexperienced. Garhoons were all for that mental game and corruption while she stood there. The black preservation suit hissing and her pale skin looking under the harsher light. As she turned to walk around the bridge of the ship and one of the prisoners was there. Strapped to a rack while IVs were feeding stimulants into him to keep him awake and concentrated levels of extracts from death sticks... addiction and it muddied his force abilities to call out. "You have done wonderfully subject seventeen thousand four hundred and nine, your homeworld will be a perfect testing ground for some of our experiments."

Ko had only ever been on Hetzal Prime once before years ago. The Planets and it’s two moons were agricultural powerhouses within the Outer Rim. It was a critical world for getting food across the remote reaches of the galaxy. Given his background Ko was tasked with aiding with a handful of minor problems across the planet. Things like small fungal blight at a farm and a local poaching problem. Utilizing his skills as an outdoorsman to make quick work of the issues.

The Padawan was currently within the planet’s capital, Aguirre City. Leaving a police station after just bringing some poachers to justice. Ko pulled out hsi datapad, letting his Master know that he probably wasn’t going to be around much longer. He planned to depart from the planet shortly, but he started to feel a disturbance. Getting the feeling that something was going to keep him here longer.

Soon Ko began hearing about reports of viscous attacks, not just on Hetzal Prime, but also its moons as well. He was concerned that it was more than just a coincidence. Worrying that it might be a coordinated effort from someone or something malicious…

Ko Vuto Ko Vuto

There was a beauty in it all, there was a purpose when she looked down at the planet itself.. the moons were there and she was able to check out some of the reports. They were scanning it and the pods had reached the world and the moons. The attack had begun as the drengir were good at making a mess of things and a mess led to action sometimes slower and slower. The Sith Medical Corps were on scene as needed... not advertising themselves as sith but in the aftermath of attacks they provided medical treatment and could look people over. Other places on the world that might have need and server to deposit drengir seeds.

Seras stayed there on the bridge and looked at the one on the rack. There wasn't a lot of information but he had managed to feed them some information before going into his slip of a coma. Her hand coming up and a needle coming from her hand as it fed into him and the toxin was made to burn the nerves across the body making it feel like one massive exposed nerve as his eyes shot opened... screams even through the numbing agents came through. "Oh my dear you passed out... when you pass out I can't hurt you anymore." She said it as her breathing came with a hiss from the mechanical suit then she was looking over at it.

She kept at it as he screamed more and more but her eyes remained indifferent. Reports and voices coming over the com channels. "Master, there are reports a jedi is on the planet. Orders?" She turned to look back at the screen and chuckled to herself. "A jedi.... already here. We are in luck. We have been wanting to observe the drengirs mental domination of other force users. Observe and aid the jedi... in your way if there are injured. Let him give them to you understood." There were confirmations and the medical corp were genuine healers able to be doctors in the field... so aiding a jedi would be easy it just might be tricky as they deployed.

Ko would notify his master to let her know that there was additional trouble brewing on the planet and that he’d be staying behind a while longer to sort it out and to notify the NJO. Imagining it would be some time before additional help could arrive if needed. Not yet realizing what was truly afoot. To his knowledge parts of the world were being attacked by vicious plant monsters he was unfamiliar with, and to his knowledge weren’t native to the planet either. Meaning they must’ve been brought to her by accident or on purpose. Ko hoped it was by accident and that this was the work people trafficking the plant creatures.

It took a while before Ko could arrive at one of the scenes. A rural community surrounded by seemingly endless stretches of farmland. Rows of tall crops concealing the devastated town. He went through the place with a local security team. But it seemed as though they were too late. Something that concerned the prospective padawan was the total lack of bodies. It was clear there had been carnage. Tools and vehicles laid about. Some of the buildings looking like a raging gundark had busted through them. Leaving behind dark withered vines around the scene.

He felt a sudden invasive feeling in his mind drawing him away to the edge of town. Ko approached the nearby field of tall looming crops. Sensing something past them trying to pry into his psyche. Then he heard it, shifting through the concealed crops bursting from the rows from which it was hid. A tower, shambling mound of vines and tendrils. “Meats!! New Meats!!” It roared out over Ko, lunging at the shocked padawan with its toothy maw. The Kel Dor took a step back, he didn’t have his lightsaber with him, the iconic weapon was still lost since the conflict on ryloth. Instead he pulled his hand back, channeling The Force before pushing it out. Telekinetically knocking the Drengir back and off balance. But the shifting amorphic monster creature was quick to recover, and would spring back into its hungry assault. The commotion causing the nearby security team Ko arrived with to rush to the scene now as well.

The report came in as the ship was observing from deeper orbit. Sensors trained where communications were being sent and a security team was engaging something... she knew what. She hadn't planned for so fast but that just added to the chance of them being trained to improvise without the prep work. A toothy grin was on her face as she stayed there for a moment longer. The one on the rack was heaving as he tried to breath the weight of his own body suffocating him as the rack had extended his arms and he was close to dislocating them as he slumped down under the dead weight of his own body. "I shall head down to the surface."

Her medical credentials were valid in a way... Urei was a doctor who had been hurt in an accident when the one sith had attacked Alderaan after all. Few questioned it when she was walking and taking the shuttle down from the ship. Her preservation suit showing medical marking to identify her and it wasn't a perfect disguise it didn't have to be. her black hair showing small curls under the hood of her cloaked lab coat to protect against the elements. She stood there in the shuttle and it opened as they had communications from one fo the administrators asking for assistance from attacks. They intercepted and confirmed it to him as she got on a speeder heading out.

"This is Hetzel security we are escorting a medical team in case of survivors." The man spoke and she looked at him while the mechanical hissing of her breathing came out. The drengir she could feel in the darkside of the force and she was good at concealing herself in it since she rarely had to use the force outside of manipulating in the lab. A jedi test subject might be good to test some of her stimulants on.

Ko couldn’t tell yet if he’d be thankful or regretful that he was on Hetzal Prime currently. Not that he even had the time to think of that as he tried his best to avoid the large plant’s attacks. Ducking, weaving, and flipping to avoid the shambling mass of vegetative tendrils and teeth. He thought it was strange that it could communicate, showing sentience, starting to now recognize what it was. Still he felt it trying to peer into his mind and speak to him. But every time the stubborn Kel Dor shut it out.

Eventually the security team he’d arrived with made it to the fight. Raising their weapons to shoot at the Drengir. Peppering its body with blaster bolts as it howled out. “Ack! No! Shoot the Jedi!” It called out, mentally dominating the soldiers as it did. Sensing it in The Force Ko now found himself surrounded by enemies. The soldiers now find themselves under the control of the beast. But this was the kind of thing he’d trained for thanks to his Master. The padawan turned away from the Drengir as it lunged once more towards him.

Stomping on the ground he began to altern the earth creating a bit of sinkhole under the Drengir, causing the beast to collapse under its own weight into the hole. Before deftly avoiding the incoming blaster fire of the security team he’d been with. Recalling how he’d been able to avoid the constant overwhelming assault of a dozen remotes in his training with Jonyna. This was a walk in the park comparatively. When he got a moment Ko held his hand out to the mind controlled soldiers reaching out with The Force at their weapons. With a sudden squeeze of his fist he crushed the barrels all at once of their blasters rendering them useless.

That’d help create some breathing room for himself. But in the time he took to minimize the threat of the soldiers he felt something grab his ankle. One of the Drengir’s tendrils reached him and tugged the padawan. His body collided with the ground before he was pulled up over the beast as it opened its toothy maw ready to eat him like a miniature sarlacc. Dangling upside down he looked ‘up’ at it as they got ready to eat Ko. There was an idea he had, but he feared it was a perversion of ability he’d mastered in the Agricultural Corps. He needed to save himself and put an end to the drengir. Ko channeled The Force and held it out towards the plant monster. It froze for a moment before screeching out in agony as he used Plant Surge on it. Instantly warping and twisting their botanical body as roots from the ground shot up into it. Ko caused the Drengir to grow in ways that controlled and ripped itself apart in a grisly use of a generally underwhelming ability. But not only were these malevolent beings, they were invasive to the planet. Ko could not let this hulking man eating plants propagate here on Hetzal Prime. It could destroy the planet and condemn countless people to suffer from starvation because of it. Ko would not, could not let that happen here. Eventually Ko was dropped, harshly landing on the ground next to the plant monster. Quickly picking himself up and looking at it’s now dead, and torn body. It made him feel a little sick to use an ability to cultivate life, and kill a sentient with it. Yet he didn’t feel like he used the Dark Side, he couldn’t have. Plant surge would not have worked otherwise.

Looking back to the soldiers they now seemed to be freed from the dominating influence of the Drengir. Unfortunately Ko knew there were others, at least two, but possibly more. But he began to feel another now fast approaching, but he couldn’t tell if they might be friend or foe. Nonetheless, Ko knew he needed to arm himself…

She could sense it for a moment... the surge of force energy as the jedi seemed to find a way to tear it apart... both smart as it was a threat that could survive a ot... and dangerous as drengir could heal from being cut in half with a lightsaber and form two bodies... no experiments yet what could happen if you tore one apart by making them grow larger and shredding. Her speeder stopping as she came to the outskirts of it and could see the fields of crops... patches and lines blackened from corruption. Some of the ones who had been attacked they found in pieces another convulsing while she scanned them. The poison excreted by the thorns on their limbs acting to make the body stiff but the man was trying to fight it.

Then she saw him and some others... the chunks there for a moment while taking the hood off of her head. The closest thing to human like being her hair which had a curl in the front but was largely straight in the back. Sleek and shiny with a mechanical hiss from her preservation suit while she walked closer clapping her hands. "Impressive work jedi." She said it while her wrist scanners were working to record the information... parts of the drengir regenerating slowly as chunks tried to come into their own but it was not nearly as powerful as being bisected. "Who would have thought the experiments would get such.... interesting results."

She looked at him and set her eyes on the Kel-dor as she spoke even in the mechanical breather. Garhoons one of the more... sadistic species as she set her mind on his. 'Fall into me.' She mentally waited, focusing on locking eyes as that was easier to capture prey and their nature was more addictive... victims of their feeding usually willingly returning after a few bites. She continued to speak in the mind while her voice came out. "Do you believe you can stop all of them before they have spread their seeds across the moons and planet? Do you know how many they may have infected with their poison or converted into their pawns to make sure they propagate?"

She was collecting data on it and him when she finally approached and held her hands up to show she had no lightsaber on her hip or body... no weapon save the preservation suit and her wrist scanners.... and secret needles and injectors that could pop out for various poisons but it all looked harmless enough. One of the chunks with the mouth moving around as tendrils reached out and grabbed one of the security guards entering his mouth and nose to pull him down into its mouth. "Or perhaps these ones are different, perhaps they are a new generation of drengir cultivated for their power and augmented in some way.?"

Her laugh came next and she was closer but still being left alone while starring him while from her back her Hydrastaff slithered into the grass and coiled around the area using the tall grass to its advantage. One of the more dangerous things left over by the One sith and their vong allies aside from the vongspawn virus she was experimenting with. "Or perhaps tearing such a thing apart did what so many other sith would claim... liberated you from jedi shackles. Maybe you are becoming one of us?" She said it as more of a laugh.. she didn't care as a jedi was as much a slab of meat and muscle to be experimented on as a sith. Just made it fun to see how one reacted.

Soon enough they arrived, pulling up on a speeder and approaching Ko. His goggled gaze shifted to her as he stared at her down. It wasn’t difficult for him to come to the conclusion that she was behind what was happening here. Hoping that even with her taking up his time that swift and proper response to the conflict brewing here was being taken.

He listened to who seemed to be a woman, it was a little bit difficult to tell with the comprehensive suit she was wearing. She complimented his work so far and spoke of ‘experiments’. She must fancy herself a scientist of some kind. But a moment later she set her mind on his own. It’d be like hitting a mental brick wall however. Like many of his kind the Kel Dor was a stubborn young man, even to people he liked such as his Jedi peers. He wouldn’t easily cave to the telepathic assault of who he saw as an enemy. Although removed from his homeworld for many years he still saw many things in black and white.

She seemed to question what his goals were here, if he could even hope to quell the growing infestation of Drengir here on across the planet. She even confirmed that the two moons were falling victim as well. Her words were definitely concerning, and there was quite a bit going on but he tried to keep his focus on the hostile woman. It felt like warnings in The Force oozed from her. But unsure if he should escape now or confront her here in the moment. Like him she seemed to have no lightsaber of her own or obvious weapons. However, right now Ko was almost quite literally in his element.

“I’ll admit, it really does seem like I got my work cut out for me now. Might very well be in over my head. Just a lowly Padawan learner who’s spent much of his time cultivating crops in worlds like this.” He said, confessing some of who he was. He was just a mere apprentice. Albeit one that was almost uniquely qualified to deal with the threat the Drengir posed to the world and its moons. “These Drengir, they share a mental bond with each other, don’t they? Perhaps the others here are on their way to get revenge for mangeling one of their companions.”

His next words stung a little, wondering if he might become ‘one of them’. He deduced that she meant Sith. A poisonous philosophy he had no intention of falling to. Not today and hopefully not ever. “Jedi Shackles?” Ko questioned. He knew not of what The Sith taught or what they stood for. Ko was never informed on what The Sith Code was. “If I’m being honest, Miss… I don’t feel any different now than if I’d just crushed a battle droid like a soda can with The Force. Although living, the Drengir are hellbent on sowing chaos and imbalance. Feasting upon innocent people and creating darkness wherever they are. I’d say it’s pretty clear what I must do as a Jedi. I feel, no, I know The Force is with me here and now. Can you say the same, Sith?” Ko said, his voice hissed her title at the end through his mask. Making his intentions crystal clear. The Force as his ally and a powerful ally it was. If she planned to fight him here and now that was her choice. But he knew that the Drengir threat here could not stay. Not wanting to let himself fall into the trappings of developing tunnel vision like the last time he fought a Sith. Which was under surprisingly similar circumstances...

Ko Vuto Ko Vuto

She looked at him and nodded slightly in confirmation. Hissing more in annoyance at his last word. "So... narrowly focused for one so young." Sith was a title she supposed, she had it... she worked for their various groups but she didn't proclaim the power of the darkside... she didn't need that. "You do make it sound so simple though the drengir might seek you out... their mother might hate you or..." She flicked her eyes to where he had been grabbed and looked back. "Perhaps they don't need to, their seeds could be on you they might let you go so you spread them to a temple... allow them to take root and harvest the jedi at the source."

The smile could be felt. "But to call me merely a sith feels almost insulting. If I cared enough to get angry about it I might threaten you but I merely work for them. You could say... I handle those who they leave behind and my job is to find more efficient ways to make them useful." She moved finally and touched the grains that were not corrupted but looked at the chunk that was moving more and snapping. Her hand coming up in front of it and it didn't bite at her. "So precious when they are this small... more manageable though with several starting to form it is going to be more difficult once they start running and that isn't counting what they might have hidden before you showed up. A day... three more could be rooted and appear."

SHe moved near him but still remained just out of reach... her eyes following him. "We need not fight after all. There is more than enough to converse about given you might be infected even now. Any poisons from their thorns, possible seeds that could take root and any number of other dangerous things could be there... or what I might have tested along the way." She said the last and pointed to a small compartment on her belt with Lagoon Cartridges while raising an eyebrow. "So many different things that can incubate in people... from drugs that make them violent towards their friends... to catatonic so they can become food... or even ravenous corpses intent on spreading sickness."

Her words seemed to give more insight into what he was up against. Was it true that they might have been contaminated with their seeds now? He felt now that he needed to be extra careful. Right about now he was regretting now learning the art of fire shaping or pyrokinesis from his Master. Certain that it would help make short work of the Drengir to light them ablaze. Instead he worried that he’d need to rely on tools and weaponry to get the job done. Thinking now that his proficiency in Plant Surge would only slow them down but not kill them out right. However, it was still better than nothing.

The dark woman also elaborated a bit more about herself. What she did as a Sith. Or not as a Sith? It seemed like there was a bit of a gray area according to her words. But titles matter little to Ko at the moment. She could claim to be a Jedi working for the betterment of the galaxy and wouldn’t change anything. Her and the Drengir would create chaos and imbalance here that would possibly have far reaching effects. To him this was a lot more than saving a few farms.

However, as the seconds passed he felt… odd. His breathing was getting a little more harsh and he could feel his heart rate begin to gradually quicken. Was it the thorns from the Drengir, did he actually manage to get poisoned? When he had gotten grabbed early the pants seemed a bit shredded, he was so caught up in the moment he didn’t even realize he’d gotten hurt a little. Hearing some of the possible outcomes if he now had the drengir’s toxins in him was concerning. “Well, I wouldn’t appreciate being some lab rat for you. But I would also like to avoid a fight with you if possible. The Drengir are the ones that need to be stopped, even if you’re the one responsible for them being here.” Saying that though he still felt a deep resentment for her. He’d want to bring her to justice for the harm she has brought to this world.

Once more now Ko could feel the mental prying from the plant monsters. It seemed they were rapidly approaching now. Was Ko going to feel the wrath of a grieving mother who will see what remains of the first Drengir he encountered. As he felt their dark presence he felt a sudden rush of anger in him. It was unfamiliar to him. Was he drugged like she said, and beginning to feel a rage swell inside of him? It could just be getting to his head though.

Nonetheless two more Drengir now arrived at the scene. Now witnessing why their kin was in such anguish. Seeing their mangled body from Ko’s use of Plant Surge. “What have you done to them?!” One of the towering monsters furiously questioned. Ko turned to face the two monsters. His goggles hide a fire in his eyes. “You jedi scum!” The other one shouted before one of it’s tendrils lashed out to the Kel Dor padawan. The sudden attack triggered Ko’s fight or flight instinct… It had gone towards a fight. He held his hand out before the Drengir reached him. Using The Force to generate a raw destructive blast towards the monster. A large chunk of them suddenly exploded from the sheer sudden pressure of it. Within Ko he began to feel a rush of righteous fury within himself. His mind let the desire to punish the invasive plants take over rather than to simply put an end to their chaos.

"Shut up you over grown weeds..." Ko finally replied, spite evident in his tone. The other Drengir recoiled back some as they watched their companion get blasted by an invisible force. The Sith woman wanted to see what the poisons effect had on him, right? Part of him hoped she was paying close attention now and was taking notes…

Ko Vuto Ko Vuto

She listened to hima nd could feel him standing there... more and more he seemed to be overthinking it maybe... than more drengir were coming and he went off on them attacking. A grin under her mask as she moved to the side and had her staff wrap around her arm to stay there for the moment. Letting the five heads hiss but watch as the drengir chunks spouted mouths. They screeched and she held a hand up. "Careful now." THe danger to their root mind and the progenitor making them pause... even rage filled and hungry it wouldn't risk no longer existing. IT got a small grin under her mast and she moved around as the seciruty force was waking up.

He moved slowly and tried to balance as she moved over and touched his shoulder for a moment.. then the shlink of an injection needle as she pierced his jugular. The veins darkening as the poison went in and he was going to bleed out before the grey black ooze took hold. She backed away and let him convulse on the ground in the blackened grain. Watching as the jedi seemed to be getting more violent and angry with the drengir. "Oh." He might not have a lightsaber but he was getting pretty strong with his force abilities which was a plus in many ways and they would be able to check that out. SHe was making mental notes as the serpent coiled and was in her hand.

The drengir swiping at Ko as it screeched physically and into the force with a scream. The progenitor howling at the academy as it was being given fresh infusions and food. Reports were coming to her from the observations on the other moons as well that security teams were approaching but were meeting resistance from more seedlings. Her moved lashing out for a moment to match the drengirs movements. The hydrastaff extending in the grains and slithering to bite at his leg and try to bring him to a knee... a deception in a way to make it seem like one poison was taking effect but it could be two or even three depending on how close he got to that body oozing putrid sickness a jedi could resist it when not distracted.

The Kel Dor had always had a bit of a knack of telekinesis and abilities under its umbrella. But with the poison his typical more mindful and delicate use of The Force was trading out in favor of raw, blunt, yet unfocused displays of energy and power. Even now as he blasted one of the drengir apart he felt no pleasure in it. Under his mask was just a disapproving frown. The lumbering mass of vines and tendrils were sentient, and because of that it actually angered Ko more. They weren’t simple beasts going off of instinct, they were beings capable of higher thought. Yet they abused that gift to bring harm and misery here, which gained the padawan’s ire.

Ko couldn’t tell if this was just the work of the poison in him. Or if this furious judgment was always in him. Contained within a mental prison of discipline and inhibition. He wondered if this was what using the dark side was like. Thrilling, yet dangerous in its seduction. Was replacing the surgical precision for the subtlety of a sledgehammer a worthy trade off in The Force?

He listened to the howls of the next Drengir. Both in his ears and his mind. Sensing it’s potent anger and hatred. Which communicated to Ko that he was doing a good job here. Wait. He shouldn’t be pleased with the Drengir's negativity. Even if they were a dangerous enemy, it wasn’t the Jedi way. As the plant monster lashed out towards Ko he intercepted. Reaching out with his clawed digits. Practically grabbing the Drengir with a giant invisible hand with The Force. With a sudden clench of his fist, he crushed it like a bug.

However, there was an abrupt pain in his leg. Causing Ko to collapse to his knee. He’d been bitten. His neck snapped over to see the hydra-like serpent on the ground. The padawan had no idea what it was or where it came from. But he was furious with the creature. Before it could do anything else Ko quickly snatched the hydrastaff off the ground with a right grip in his clawed hand. He held it up some and grabbed it with his other hand. Ready to tear the creature in two by rending it in his arms. But it was then that he truly noticed its multiple heads. As he held it up closer to him he left his face vulnerable to the living weapon.

The sounds of the fight were there and she looked at the jedi was working to defend himself... then quickly on the ground and holding her staff... at least he was holding it. The vongstaff would have likely surprised him if he had tried the force on him much like it was doing now as he seemed to be holding it and one head... leaving four others to hiss and snap. Two spraying the poison at his eyes and two others snapping to bite his hand and cheek to make him let go and give him another dose. Seras moved around as one of the drengir was there and it was bisected while she was looking at it. The pieces there when she turned to look at the jedi.

"Interesting." She said it and remained there as she crouched and switched the vial using the injection needle while she checked him with a scanner. "IF you ask me jedi... I do have some medicine for toxins in the body.... help you feel clear headed enough to use the force... or you could keep feeling the various poisons... wait until the shakes set in or the lose of temperature regulation for the body... shiving in the hot sun is never good and makes your body think it might be going into shock." She said it and was a distance away looking at him as she pointed to the one security that he had brought here and fought disabling him. Body twisting as it tried to crawl and snarling from broken legs.

Everything that happened next felt very quick and abrupt. A rapid series of actions that had a pretty devastating result for Ko. With the serpent weapon in his hands he tried to pull the squirming creator in half. Earring him a pained scream before it quickly counterattacked. In the chaos he’d gotten bitten and his goggles dislodged. Exposing his eyes briefly to the oxygen rich air. Instantly it began to burn his ocular glands and tissue much like he was being gassed of the toxic gas as his vision became blurry. But it didn’t hold a candle to the sudden caustic poison that was sprayed into the face following it. Instinctively closing his eyes shut and tossing the hyrdastaff away. “AHG! G̵̟̋Ę̴̖͊R̶̡͘S̸͕͝H̴̲̘̀Ǒ̴̙̗͝!!” (Traditional Dorrin Obscenity)

He grabbed his eyes and fell back onto the ground. Yelling as he was overwhelmed from the pain radiating from his eyes. He didn’t really hear what the Sith scientist was saying. A mix of rage inducing poisons and melting eyes would make it difficult for her words to leave much of an impression on him. No matter how concerning they might be. Ko gradually tried to get himself back up, all the while grabbing and rubbing his eyes as they burned.

Even if the Sith woman near him spoke in a kind and caring tone expressing only a desire to help him. The violent feelings whirling within him only made Ko want to gouge out her throat with his clawed hands. If only he could. He was in no state to do much of anything now. It was very possible he might die without her medicine and antidotes, or at least be in for a very miserable time while the toxins metabolized within his body. By now Ko was completely out of balance and was largely at the Sith’s mercy. If she even had any to begin with.

She could see him and feel it even remaining there as he seemed to be raging about... pain from poison and venom... There was a danger of it killing him but she moved as he was blind and spoke. "Careful careful." She allowed herself to switch as needed... no bacta it was a painkiller that would dull the pain yes but also be wonderfully dulling to his resistances and senses.. she might not be able to turn him... manipulate him but...."Hold still." She sprayed it in the air so it would disperse and coat him to stop the pain but it wouldn't stop the damage. Her hand coming up while she held it out. "Calm yourself." She motioned for the drengir to stand still and watch... the control of them mostly just because killing her or risking damage would kill them for the moment. Her hand removing her face mask as she could breathe and the flesh was melted, torn and showing sections of her jaw. Fangs there lining her teeth. "Give me your wrist and I will heal you jedi."

Ko was having a hard time listening to her words. Barely able to keep himself together and instinctively letting out a reckless Force Repulse. The padawan was harnessing his anger and energy for a moment before the suddenly misty medicine the Sith coated him with began to rapidly manage the pain he was feeling. Suddenly it no longer felt like someone had just shoved hot coals into his eyes.

This caused him to finally calm down a bit. He couldn’t see anything still, only really heard the words of the Scientist. She sounded a bit different, when she asked for his wrist. Not realizing that she’d removed her mask. Ko instinctively pulled his arms away from her for a moment. Being put off by her asking to give her his wrist. But she promised to heal him, and he wasn’t really thinking very clearly still. He just wanted to stop feeling as awful as he did currently. Carefully, and slowly, Ko presented the woman with his wrist. Unsure what she planned to do with it.

SHe was looking at him and as he presented his wrist after thrashing around her grin formed. Fangs extending as she opened her mouth and as promised she gave him energy for healing as she bit down. Coming away for a moment as she placed her mask back on her face. "There there now." Her grin being concealed with the face mask as she stood up and held a hand for a moment. "Healing your eyes might be difficult jedi... but taking the edge off of the pain is simple enough." She laughed to herself and motioned with her hand for the drengir to wander off. "Of course you'll have to explain to your fellow jedi what happened here... I wonder what it will sound like."She mused to herself but was recording more data...a jedi bitten by a garhoon wasn't exactly commonplace... good experiment as would be seeing how he handles things now with the drengir ignoring him as they went back to their attack.

“Ow!” Ko exclaimed as she bit him, quickly flinching and pulling his hand away from her. Wondering what she just did to him before realizing he suddenly felt much better. Both in mind and body. However, his world was still shrouded in darkness. Only having a vaguest idea of his surroundings now. The Scientist mentioned that his wounded eyes wouldn’t heal as easily. Which was concerning the padawan.

There was also mention of the fact he would need to explain what had happened to the Jedi. Which made his stomach twist, fearing that he might get into trouble like his friend Lily and her experience with the Mandalorians. But then again Ko hadn’t really done anything he wasn’t supposed to. Just happened to be at the right place at the wrong time is how it was beginning to feel to himself. “H-Hetzal Prime isn’t in Alliance space, just hope it can get the aid it needs now.” Ko believed this world was too important to be overrun with Drengir. The padawan looked down for a moment. “I’ve failed… I need to inform the rest of the order on the gravity of the situation…” Ko was hit with a wave of feeling disappointed in himself. He was blinded now and believed he was unable to help with the situation now.

Maybe the silver lining was that all the Drengir were in one spot now. Perhaps a few swift and comprehensive firebombings could stop the infestation in its tracks. Ko perked up suddenly. “I-I… I need to get back to the capital!” He just needed to find out how. Ko was still concerned that the Sith might take advantage of him now that he was blinded.

She looked at him and remained there observing.... jedi learning to compensate when their sight is damaged is documented and talked about but rarely experienced in the field after all and he had all of those poisons in him and a salve of painkillers.... he was an interesting test subject to say the least and she moved back to observe more. "I have no reason to keep you jedi." She was laughing to herself while her hydrastaff coiled around her arm... "Such a good patient though, you should come back to my lab... we can run a few tests and see what makes you tick... maybe observe how you come to use the force to compensate for your eyes that are slowly being damaged more and more while you have no healing salve on them to try and stop the optical degradation."

The scientist spoke about having no need to keep him. Ko wasn’t sure if she was actually telling the truth earlier about not fighting him. He was so vulnerable now that it’d be easy to take his life now. She only expressed a desire for her to run some tests on him. Which brought back memories to the last sith that he encountered. Who never said they wanted to experiment on Ko, but that they wanted his blood for some reason. Maybe Sith ladies just had a fascination with Kel Dor biology?

Eventually Ko felt like he needed to ask an important question. “Wh-What was that? The thing that just sprayed that into my face.” His voice was a bit shaky and betrayed how tired he was beginning to feel now. But he didn’t know what the multi-headed serpent was as Ko hadn't ever encountered Vong-Tech before. The padawan also wondered if he’d be able to get back to the capital. Possibly with a pre plotted course on one of the speeders he took to get here with the security team. He wasn’t sure anymore if any of them were still alive. Also Ko wasn’t even entirely certain if he actually killed Drengir as well.
