Designed as a small combination piece of field equipment, the hypogun carries two systems, an injection system for delivering medicine and sedatives with a small cartridge in the front. A small compressed gas canister to fire the cartridges a very short distance. The second mode of the gun is for sample collection in the glasteel tube attached to the end of it. A needle able to eject from the tip when the pin in the back is pulled setting it into place. The collection tube made to be sealed and pulled off so it can be replaced and given for analysis as needed. The gun itself is very lightweight in design so it can be used in the offhand in case of problems or a need to have something else for your primary hand. The compressed gas can be switched out from the handle on the bottom quickly and most standard Sakura packs come with several for use. Replacement needles are stored with the collection tubes for changing them out and disposing of them.
