SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Versatile: The ZMDIII-HAD1 have the advantage of being capable to be customized largely to the customers needs or the situation's needs, granting the the ability to be both defensive or offensive, act as assault troops, guard sentries and more. An invaluable strength within the combat droid market.
  • Intimidating: The sheer size and bulk of these droids, combined with their highly effective computing skills and optimized combat retention makes for one quite intimidating droid, especially when used in larger numbers.
  • Robust build: As with all N&Z products, these droids are build to last and despite their complexity, they are still relatively simple to repair for those who have adequate knowledge with droid repair.
  • Heavily armed and armored: By using a wide range of heat and EMP proof or regulating internal and external plating, this droid is without question one of the most effective and terrifyingly tough assault droids on the market.
  • Autonomy: Using the ATHENA DCOS' limited and superior version, the "Hades" model is capable of acting autonomous, allowing units to work more cooperatively, make decisions based on efficiency to complete orders and have a more comprehensive learning skill in regard to situations they may encounter.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow Locomotion: Compared to other droids, the "Hades" Model is far from fast in terms of general locomotion, their heavy frame makes acceleration more consuming and though they can reach a top walking speed of nearly 25 km/h, this needs solid footing and take quite some time to reach. Thus in general they would be limited to a standard brisk walking speed as the most conveniently seen and used speed.
  • Weight & Size: The overall weight and size of the "Hades" Model makes the droid less functional in urban environments, through they may be able to brush aside standard walls and woods, their overall locomotion and freedom of movement may be severely hampered in tighter spaces and make them less effective in use.
  • Difficult to maintain: As with many of the N&Z designs coming directly from its own EnSol division, the quality and robustness of the product is beyond question, but this is in return also a key reason for the necessity of having a good relation with the company, as repairs may prove to be rather difficult for those not fully learned and schooled in N&Z production methods and engineering.
DESCRIPTION

With the expansion of several of the major factions in which the N&Z operated, alongside the fast-growing tensions between the many galactic factions, it was quite the beneficial idea for the N&Z Umbrella Corporation to ramp up its product lines, expand their military assets and expand and refresh their droid models in particular. With many of the older ZMDI and ZMDII variety droids now either being no longer viable for production, simply no longer interesting for the rapidly evolving systems of warfare or just plain and simple obsolete in the new eve of war, the ZMDIII-HAD1 Hades Heavy assault Droid had to replace generally the old Jupiter models, thus being a much larger and heavier contemporary for the highly mobile and generalistic models that also belonged to the ZMDIII generation such as the Arbalesk model which saw wide use with several of the company's clients.

This new, heavy assault droid had to show strength and adaptability in great lengths, needing the best AI systems the company had, combined with heavy weaponry ( luckily quite versatile and able to be exchanged if need be by other contemporary and comparable weaponry or ordinances) managed to fullfill that brief. ofcourse, as was allways the case with heavier, more sizeable droids, the Hades model was marked by lack of mobility in tight urban areas, even in smaller ships and vehicles, making it a more effective sentry droid for large buildings and heavy assault droid in open warfare.
