• Comprehensive Combat Versatility - The Quaritch is equipped with some of the most advanced weapons to date. Its primary armament is the Tane-Class Variable Artillery Piece or the N&Z Heavy Kinetic Artilley Cannons. Its secondary armaments include FAE disruptor cannons and Haltbar heavy blasters.
  
  
• Comprehensive Defense - The Quaritch has multiple layers of defense technology. A six-part shield system in combination with a composite armor scheme. It also has a comprehensive countermeasure and electronic countermeasure suite. Additionally, it has the FAE Electro-Active Interception Weapon for added protection if the shields were ever disabled.

WEAKNESSES

• Slow - This vehicle was built for taking and dishing out damage, not for speed. It lumbers through the battlefield behind much faster walkers and tanks.
  
  
• Slow Swap - Because of the way the Tane-Class is constructed, swapping from kinetic type to energy type takes time, approximately two minutes. This weakness does not apply when the Heavy Kinetic Artillery Cannons are equipped over the Tane-Class.
  
  
• Heavy, but Lightly Armed - While the weight of the Quaritch's weapons are heavy, there are only seventeen barrels on this tank. Each one disabled is a large percentage of its firepower disabled.

DESCRIPTION
The Quaritch is a Super-Heavy Siege Tank manufactured by N&Z Starworks for the Imperial Confederation. Designed for breakthrough and assault operations, it functions as a mobile fortress and artillery platform, delivering overwhelming firepower at a deliberate pace. Its tracked chassis and repulsor backup allow it to cross difficult terrain, while the interior compartment carries a full platoon of infantry for direct breach and assault work.

Armament centers on a twin 220mm turret firing multiple types of ordinace capable of collapsing fortifications, clearing entrenched infantry, and reshaping urban terrain. Disruptor sponsons on all four sides provide close-range anti-personnel and anti-material coverage, with two quad-mount heavy repeating blaster turrets handling suppression and infantry overwatch. Composite armor and a six-layer shield projection system allow the Quaritch to absorb sustained fire, though its slow speed requires careful staging and escorting to avoid isolation.

Crewed by 28 specialists: command, pilots, gunners, spotters, equipment operators, and engineers, the Quaritch demands significant logistical support and maintenance. It is prohibitively expensive and typically deployed via landing craft rather than through rapid redeployment assets. In Confederation doctrine, it breaks defensive lines, anchors artillery lanes, and secures breach points that smaller armored elements cannot, trading mobility for certainty and decisive battlefield presence.
