National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, is a challenge where you write 50,000 words in 30 days, November 1 - 30. There's no judging or editing or whatever, just writing a novel in 30 days. It's been going on for like fifteen years or something now, and believe me when I say you can learn a lot about writing and your writing voice during a one-month period of writing all the time.
I am participating again this year, and I think [member="Darth Janus"] is planning to participate as well. Is anyone else from SWRP planning to do it? It's a lot of fun. We could stage virtual write-ins via Skype and have a little support group of our peers. Even if you're not planning to participate, please feel free to use this thread to encourage and/or hurl epithets at the participants.
