NAME: Nalah Tezan
FACTION: The Family
RANK: Associate
SPECIES: Zygerrian
AGE: 28
SEX: Cis Female
HEIGHT: 1.7 m
WEIGHT: 70 kg
EYES: Ice Blue
HAIR: Black
FUR: Grey-Blue
FORCE SENSITIVITY: N/A

APPEARANCE:
Nalah is a Zygerrian woman of fairly average height but remarkable beauty, owing to her voluptuous and toned body, as well as her striking coat grey-blue fur, which is crossed by a few streaks of white. She has a set of four small, vestigial horns on her head, with icy blue eyes and shoulder-length, jet black hair that she often streaks or dyes for the purposes of her latest con. While her style often changes with her latest angle, she often combines impractical finery with practical accessories, like a pilot's vest and blaster harness over a puffed-sleeve noble's shirt.

ATTRIBUTES:
Nalah is one thing above all others, and that is charming. From her earliest days dancing for tips in dive bars to her most elaborate and high-risk cons, the young Zygerrian oozes an aura of charisma and cool, which has proven quite handy in her career as a con artist and smuggler. This is helped by her bold and ambitious nature, which makes her both socially magnetic and untrustworthy in equal measure. Unlike many others in her trade, Nalah has a taste for fine food, fashion, and art, but isn't above a little slumming to get what she wants. As long as she gets a long soak in her meditation pool with some Savareen brandy afterward.

Strengths:
  • Zygerrian Might: As a Zygerrian, Nalah has remarkable strength for her size which can be handy for moving heavy cargo quickly or catching someone off guard in a fist fight.
  • Bewitching Beauty: Between her lovely appearance, confident charisma, and natural grace, Nalah can be quite charming (or seductive) when she wants to be.
  • Street Survivor: Nalah's time on in the underworld has taught her a variety of unsavory skills, from gambling, to sneaking, to slicing, to quick-draw shooting.
Weaknesses:
  • Bloody History: Zygerrians have a reputation, especially in the Outer Rim, as merciless slavers and bloodthirsty cutthroats which can make socializing difficult at times.
  • Two-Bit Swindler: Nalah is, to her core, a scoundrel, driven entirely by profit and pleasure with little in the way of loyalty or modesty toward others.
  • Compulsive Gambler: The only thing Nalah loves more than profit, is profit with risk, and she's always looking for a riskier, more ambitious angle.

BIOGRAPHY:
Nalah was born to a washed out ex-Zygerrian slaver and a dancing girl on the Smuggler's Moon, Nar Shadda, which made for a less-than-idyllic childhood. Between her mother's near-total absence and her father's booze-based approach to parenting, Nalah left home before her 10th birthday and never looked back. She did whatever work kept her off the street, mostly petty robbery and speeder-jacking, but soon got involved with entertaining and gambling at local clubs.

This proved to be an excellent way to gain credits, especially since high-roller clients were always looking to impress the prettiest performers, which usually meant throwing a lot of credits around. Distracted patrons made for easy marks, which became Nalah's gateway to both high-class living, and con artistry. She soon parlayed a string of jilted lovers into a tidy sum of credits and shady connections, as well as her personal starship, a modified Luxury Yacht 3000.

With a ship at hand and credits in her pockets, Nalah expanded out into private chauffering/shuttling, professional gambling, and most recently smuggling. Ambitious to a fault and hungry to finally enter the high life for good, Nalah has set out to leave her mark on the galaxy, by conning as many marks as she can.

SKILLS:
Nalah has picked up a smattering of skills from her many years of skullduggery, including stealth, slicing, hot-wiring, and sleight of hand, but her real skills lay in her charm and agility. She's an experienced, if somewhat exotic dancer, an inspired liar, and self-trained connoisseur of the finer things in life, such as art and alcohol. She's also skilled in numerous games of chance, but prefers card games like sabacc as they rely more on working one's opponents, plus they're easier to cheat at.

Nalah can fly or drive quite well, as long as she knows the vehicle in question, but repairing or maintaining those vehicles is a bit outside her wheelhouse. She's quick with a blaster, and accurate too, although she prefers charm over harm when it comes to escaping tight spots. She's also learned an extensive list of languages to assist in her cons, and can change accents or mannerisms effortlessly. Her spoken languages include: Basic, Basic Sign Language, Zygerrian, Huttese, High Galactic, Sullustese, Sy Bisti, Bocce, and Meese Caulf, with an understanding of Binary.

ROLE-PLAYS:

RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Lucretia Lister: A...curious individual to be sure, Nalah had become involved in Lucretia's designer spice dealing business, although whether that is a good idea remains to be seen.
  • Jolene Bastra: Nalah met this seasoned smuggling baron from the Outer Rim during a bar visit, and is eager to see what her experience might bring to the Zygerrian's business.
  • Mairead Solus: Sophisticated, connected, easy on the eyes, Mairead is Nalah's entrance into the exciting and lucrative world of the Coruscanti Mafia, and the Zygerrian is eager to get involved with her.
  • Seku Bondera: An SIA agent that Nalah became...entangled with, after a particularly wild Life Day party. Despite a rocky start, Seku and Nalah hit it off amazingly well after escaping a Coruscant Customs inspection.
  • Alex Stormwolf: Seku's partner in crime fighting, who had no problem aiding and abetting her escape from Coruscanti Customs after a disastrous Life Day party. A good guy to know.
