Monty Tython and the (Un)Holy Grail (OS Dominion of Tython)

[media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzNZBMRMb2Q[/media]
Tython

The home world of the Jedi Order, the origin of the twin force cults of Ashla and Bogan, and site of the Force Wars of legends - Tython, a world abandoned, a planet forgotten to the annals of history. It was this very world, this fickle planet, that the One Sith had set its sights on, not as an empirical order born for conquest, but as the religious order of the Sith. The dark quest was coordinated and led by the Sith Lord, Voice to the Dark Lord Himself, Darth Vitium, with the goal of creating a new home for the Sith of the One Sith. It had been weeks, months even, since the woman had shown her face to the general public - barring the recent trial of a traitor - and it was not because of injury or fear that she held herself behind an iron curtain. A life through two lives was a complicated one, but while the massive Yuuzhan Vong warship, the Aarshlût, loomed over the barren world it was clear that this day was dedicated to bringing forth the darkness that she had at one time allowed to flow through her life like the blood in her veins. Within the dark recesses of the living ship sat the meditating form of the Sith sorceress inside of the specially made Sith meditation sphere that had been created through utilizing the schematics of the Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow's own historical creation, the very same used in the battle over Empress Teta so many thousands of years ago.

Trailing behind the titantic ship came the relatively small fleet of the Sith, built primarily of frigates and ships smaller than that as the need for ships of the destroyer class were absent without an opposing force. Within the Silara's meditation chamber her abilities in the force were amplified through the use of force crystals and she wasted no amount of time sparing its use. As the smaller ships were sent down either to drop troops on the surface for building purposes or terraforming and other purposes, Silara actively meditated on the dark side of the force as she awaited the arrival of the Eye of the Dark Lord, [member="Darth Isolda"], to begin the planetary corruption of its soil all the way to its core with the power of the Dark Side. The planet would become a symbol of their unholy might, a power without equal, so great that entire planets, even those so full of light, would become swallowed by the dark shadow that they cast. 'It is nearly time.' Came the rasp of her voice in her thoughts and through others that were to assist in her task. 'Yes, and all too soon will those fools understand the reasoning for your perversion of the force and Yuuzhan Vong - this ship. Too late, it will be, for them to halt your progress that will be sparked anew through this quest. Fail and you will be consumed, succeed and you will know as I do.' Replied the crisp, cold, voice of something alien, ancient even, in the chambers of her mind.

'Ah, how good it is to be back again.'

Objective: Taint the Force Nexuses

[member="Silara"]

Taeli, better known as Darth Arcanix, sighed as she looked out from bridge of the small frigate she was currently using as her transport. Tython held so much history, and she had explored it recently with her sister. But now, the time had come to actually pull Tython into the Sith's sphere of influence and she would be helping with that.

Within the frigate she was on were rows upon rows of prisoners slated for execution from the Sith's recent campaign blitz that secured the Core Worlds, men and women who had fought against the onslaught and been captured, or beings that had tried to sabotage their advance or occupation. They were truly lowlifes to Taeli, and they would serve a much better purpose here with the tainting and turning of the individual Force Nexuses. Nothing better than systematic executions, rife with fear, despair, and all those other wonderful dark side emotions to really change a place.

Location: Outside the cave of the Force Nexus
Objective: Hop around aimlessly and sniff the air
Enemies: Any who dare enter

Amidst the peaceful rolling hills and alongside a winding river lay a cave that was home to a Force Nexus. But alas, this was also home to the Beast of Caerbannog. Outside the cave, a bunny rabbit was hopping at his leisure, sniffing the air, and nibbled on the few strands of grass that were left. It's ears perked up. Something was coming. It was coming soon. The bunny rabbit nibbled on a nearby skull.

Darth Timoris

To err is human, to forgive divine. And I'm no god
Location: On board Raven
Objective: Replace Jedi Temples with Sith Temples either via remodelling or reconstruction
Allies: None presently

Melori piloted her own ship to the planet's surface. Technically it was owned by the Galactic Republic and only issued to Jedi Masters, but she'd held it for the past six years which - in her eyes - made her the rightful owner. She'd redecorated of course, black was a far more pleasing colour to the eye but many of the features were as practical to her as they would have been to the previous occupant - like the meditation chamber she currently sat in. As she connected with the Force, she reflected on what she knew of the planet and of the former Jedi Academy.

The Republic abandoned the site many years ago. All that would be left was a shell - in one sense a real pity as it was difficult to desecrate that which had already been stripped bare. And also her ability to rebuild was limited - but she was eager and resourceful and assumed this would count for something.

She'd heard the rumours that those not strong with the Force might go mad and as she contemplated this, she had a change of heart. She would not go to Kaleth - to the main Temple, where no doubt most of the Sith would congregate. No, she would go to the Edge Forest, to the old Je'daii temploe of Bodhi. The former Temple of the Arts, it was one of nine temples of the old Je'daii Order. If nobody else got there first, she'd have fun reconstructing this as a Sith Temple. The only question was, what should it specialise in?

Alric Kuhn

Handsome K'lor'slug
Krincerai stood on board the Aarshlût, to the right and to the left of him stood two of his Iridonian brothers.

All three of the men were perfectly silent, all three of them were itching to kill. Their Titan Ghost Armor seemed to shimmer slightly, though it wasn't active. The Yuuzhan Vong that passed them by shot them glares and dirty looks, each one watching them with a hint of disgust.

The Sons of Titan smiled beneath their masks, though they didn't make any moves against them.

The reason for this stand-offish nature was because of who the Yuuzhan Vong were, or rather, who their culture deemed them to be. They hated technology in all its form. Some had become better with that fact, but others, especially those aboard this ship seemed to be rather...well closed minded. When one wore technological armor almost exclusively...well that made things slightly heated.

Not that Krin and his brothers cared, they were only here to do their duty.

Shifting slightly the Iridonian looked around the ship. He didn't quite understand what all of this was about, but that again didn't matter. Krin began to walk down the halls of the Command Ship, eying, watching, and most importantly waiting.

Corrupt the planet

For Darth Veles, the shifting alignment of the planet wasn’t that much of a problem; the perk of not shying away from the teachings of their enemies gave him the ability to drain power from both aspects of the Force, be it the Light Side or the Dark Side. The majority of the One Sith still unfortunately saw the Light Side as a taboo, but the amphibious Sith Lord understood the task of permanently changing the planet’s nature was about more than simply banishing their fears. To remove the Light Side from the place meant taking away another piece of Jedi history, make it a part of Sith culture, create a new Korriban. The Dark Side had the wonderful ability not only to destroy and ravage as many Sith believed, but also twist and corrupt to the core, completely mercilessly and once and for all. There lied the true danger and beauty of the Dark Side, not in mindless destruction! His old Master understood the problematic very well, if only more Sith drank from the spring of wisdom the Togruta offered so kindly!

Finding himself aboard the same frigate as his friend, Darth Arcanix, the Mon Cal buried his presence in the Force and made his way to the bridge, ignoring the occasional cry of a prisoner that echoed through the ship’s hallways like a strange piece of unfinished music. The Sith Lord knew the purpose of the prisoners and judging by the intense terror that could be felt in the Force, the men and women captured by the Sith and sentenced to death knew this was their last, one-way journey, their last hours of life before the inevitable end. The raw emotions raging within them only helped their executioners achieve the grand goal of the One Sith.

Another door automatically opened to reveal the figure of the Mon Cal as he approached the Sith Lady, walking past the few officers on the bridge, the burning gaze of his large eyes focused solely on the pale, dark-haired woman he called a friend. Slow, elegant pace carried him towards Taeli, the Jedi Grandmaster’s older sister. Their closely guarded secret was safe with the man, though that did not stop his worries concerning the relationship between the two women, particularly due to Corvus’ mental instability that utterly clouded her judgement.

“You look beautiful, Lady Taeli.” His voice was friendly, warm, welcoming as always, bearing no signs of ill intentions or poison. “It is a pleasure to meet you again. How have you been? How is Melori’s training going?” he asked, standing beside the woman and clasping his webbed hands behind his back.

She both loathed and loved the corridors of the massive ship, so familiar to her by now that she could walk them in her sleep and still not lose her way; and that was saying something, considering how absolutely fething huge the thing was. She'd chosen it for that very trait, naturally; if stealth was irrelevant, she might as well arrive in style.

Blue eyes surveyed the void dotted with distant, pale stars against a whole expanse of black nothing. In the middle of her viewport panorama sat a slightly bigger rock, floating in the vacuum of space as innocently as one might expect from a giant lump of lava and metals. Not that the Sith cared, mind you; they were here to bring the poor planet to heel and punish it for the horrible crimes it had committed. They would scorch the earth and erase any and all trace of the Jedi stink still lingering, dabbing the land with the Dark Lord's new line of perfume, Galactic Conquest no. 9.

As the massive vessel inched closer — well, more like raced, but it sure didn't feel like it — Vrag rummaged through the drawers in the captain's cabin, her armored legs propped up on the desk. Red lips curled back in delight as she discovered an opened box of cigars that doubtlessly belonged to [member="Reverance"], plucking one out without a moment's hesitation. Soon enough plumes of smoke trailed from the burning tip as the woman strode down the endless halls, her steps purposeful and determined as the echoed through the ship.

She had yet to don the skull as she stuck the cigarra between her sharp teeth, stopping a rising ramp of a dropship with a chitinous boot. "Do you have room for one more?" she grinned at the soldiers through a silver veil of burning tobacco as she took her spot in the cramped hold, embracing the comfort of numbers for the duration of the short ride to the surface.

Then she would put on the helmet, and the Hand of the Dark Lord would reshape the world by his command.

As she sat and looked out of the screen in the cockpit, she was appalled. Even by Jedi standards it was pitiful.

bodhi_temple_by_corvusraaf-d8ow7dj.jpg

The Jedi spout peace as if it is a righteous goal. Yet peace is simply a myth to appeal to the masses, like equality. Neither exist. The weak were victims and the strong take what they want. The weak vacated this…collection of sheds and the Sith will take it. And smash it. And put something worthy in its place. It was inevitable. Only the strong survive because only the strong deserve to.

Already a purpose for this site was taking shape in her mind. A school for duelling. Every Academy taught saber skills and generic fighting techniques – but what if a Temple could be dedicated to such an endeavour. Not for Padawans to learn, but for the best to learn from the very best – by invitation only. Of course her idea could be overruled or simply ignored. So the very building had to be worthy – glorious in its own right.

As she looked at the landscape, she was aware that the current site needed to be flattened. And the most dominant aspect of the landscape were the trees. In her mind the forest would be landscaped, to become perfectly circular. In the middle would be a lake – also perfectly round. And in the centre of that could be the Temple. A Temple of black-colored obsidian, studded with corusca gems. And the Temple could only be reached on foot by stepping stones, set a few centimetres below the surface of the water, forcing anyone who approached to do so with their heads bowed, so they could ensure sure footing.

Was it an original thought? No, but in Melori’s mind, it was a glorious one. But she’d need men and materials – and the Sith, it seemed, had an endless supply of those.

The dirt shuffled underneath her feet as carried herself forward in silence. A tower was to be built upon former Jedi ground right up ahead; a rather fitting proposal by Sith standards and Sena certainly could certainly appreciate the twisted sense of irony that her ‘brothers and sisters’ were making themselves responsible for.

Had anyone asked her a few weeks ago why she was here she truly would not have known why. Perhaps she would have gone on her master’s insistence but with recent discoveries about who she was -- or rather what she was -- had something inside of Sena yell out that this whole thing would seem like the best move she could make. She was one of the Vahla now, not a ‘pureblooded’ member of the cult but a member nonetheless.

Her blood was sullied by the touch of a Corellian, a woman that she had never met who fraternized with a man she never knew, but despite that it did not seem to matter in the end. She was still deemed worthy enough to become a part of the Ember of Vahl and in turn step under the wing of Darth Nephthys. It was a relationship that had started with uncertainty but eventually evolved into complete loyalty. Coldness, obedience and silence helped transform Sena into who she was. Terror and fear for her master had been replaced by respect and it was only a matter of time before Sena herself started picking up a similar persona.

Her feet set upon the temple ground and a quick look around the area would reveal nothing of value. What few objects had been around before had been long lost at this point. Soon came the part where she would get to witness the demolishing first hand. She would be lying if she said she wanted to take part of it, but anything would be better than the symmetrical pile of drab and self-righteousness that was this very jedi temple.

Her left hand placed itself on her waist as her hand rose up in front of her. She gave her fingernails a lookover before trying to see who else was around. Hm, nobody yet, seemingly. What a shame.

Corrupt the Planet..... if I can.

Standing aboard one of the man vessels that would be used more so as a transport for prisoners who were serving death sentences, I stood in the corner of the bridge. My hands grasping each other in front of my black skirt that I wore. I slight adjustment in my footing from where I stood made a little jingle of the greaves, and bracers that I wore. The Sith hidden blade Gauntlets that I had received from the cult of Sith Assassins was very helpful to the line of work that I would be integrating myself into.

Reaching up with my hand, I adjusted the red tie that I wore. Mostly because I liked ties. Sure, guys wore them all the time, so why not I? Regardless, I stood on the bridge waiting in the back when the orders to continue with the mass killing of prisoners on Tython to purge the lightside of the force from the planet.

To reverse the Jedi Influence over thousands of years in the span that we were doing it in, would mean so many deaths would take place. The deaths of prisoners. All of which, I had to take a part in. Likely, I would be killing them with the Katana I carried. And I was almost excited for this. I was a Sadist. I loved causing pain to others. The purpose of this was to cause enough of the negative emotions to flood over the Jedi, that it would corrupt them. Two of them were fear, and pain. Fear of dying, fear or being harmed, and the pain that normal people should not have to go through.

Hence why I was going to use a physical sword. Causing more pain, as well as allowing the tainted blood to be spilt upon the ground. I closed my eyes and hid the smile of the coming murders, only for them to snap open when the door to the bridge opened. While there was already one Sith lady on the bridge, now there was a Mon Calamari Sith Lord. His red skin looked rather fine. Though, I kept my head level, and never said a word as the two Sith Masters spoke to one another.

Wondering when, and what the next orders for me were to be.

‘We’re building it up
To break it back down
We’re building it up
To burn it down
We can’t wait
To burn it to the ground.’

Melori was becoming more comfortable in dealing with the minions of the One Sith Empire. Originally she’d held them only in disdain – they were not worthy of her time or attention but the more she understood the Sith way, the easier she found it.

There were those that were worthy and those that were not. Those that were, ruled. Those that weren’t either died or served. But they couldn’t all die – some had to be put to work to achieve things.

So she requested what she needed and hoped by using her Master’s name the request would be expedited. And within a matter of minutes, she’d had confirmation that all she required would be delivered. Having a sister like [member="Darth Arcanix"] certainly had its merits!

She’d organised the work into three distinct phases. Phase three was building. Phase two was clearing the site. But by far in a way the first phase was the most important. It was very simple too – and Melori always did simple. Yes, phase one was to have fun. No more, no less, just enjoy herself.

She had a couple of days before the first men came, and she intended to use that time fully. Plus, she reasoned, it was good practice too. So she set about levelling each of those obnoxious, bland, offensive buildings by using the Force. She walked over to the the first one and her eyes snapped from blue to a deep yellow immediately, her irises ringed with crimson. Lifting both hands she poured every ounce of energy she had into a Force Push. Firstly she heard the wood creak and bend before one by one planks snapped as she maintained the pressure on the structure. Then, with a mighty crash, the roof came down and she was left with a pile of wood that was once some Je’daii classroom. And what is wood good for?

Connecting to the Force again, blue lightning arced around both hands before she unleashed it on the pyre. There may have been no body, but symbolically the old temple was dead and she was going to cremate it. As the flames licked higher and higher she grinned. And she hoped the men and their machines took their time – phase one needed to be savoured.

Gabriel lifted a cigarra to his mouth, the bubbles of the hot tub rumbling violently as the heat was nearly scalding. In the end, the injuries sustained on Selvaris, while training [member="Vrag"] - or was it the other way around - were substantial and needed a good deal of work. Doctors orders, soaking in the hot tub helped to relieve the tension of the muscles and while he didn't understand how one of these things worked in a space ship, he wasn't one to complain. He recalled the need for mostly just sitting around, to deal with the slow healing process. They had suggested pins but he refused, x-rays revealing that the crushing motion had nearly punctured the pleural space, causing a pleural effusion. Apparently dodging a bullet, he felt fortunate for the experience without truly detrimental impact. Maximum pain, minimum injury - though it didn't feel like it at the time. Stepping out, he dried himself and got dressed. Another set of scars, another permanent mark to trace a fond memory in time. A solid beating, worth every ounce of recovery.

Fully dressed, downing his vonduun crab armor to match the setting of the flagship of his fleet, Gabriel found his way to a drop pod. He wasn't sure what his plans were as of yet, but he had always heard that Tython was a place that someone needed to experience for themselves. Not something easily described. Nevertheless, he stepped into the Yorik-trema as the vehicle sealed itself shut and jettisoned out from the hull of the larger vessel. As he careened towards the monstrous planet, he began to feel the impact of the planet upon his force presence. Like a larger microbe going through pinocytosis, he began to immerse himself in the presence of the planet that seemed intertwined between the light and dark, within a massive penumbra. The large intermingling moons seem to balance the location out, the transference of gravity giving a rumble to the entry - or maybe Gabriel was just hungry. He forgot to eat before the trip down.

Maybe he'd lasso one of them force storms. That sounds like a fun day. Or maybe he'd find [member="Matsu Xiangu"] here, he figured she'd might like a nice day on Tython...corrupting things. That sounds like something she might be interested in. He silently consoled himself as he looked around at his fleshy vong counterparts who were currently not interested in small talk.

Tython.

The homeworld of the Jedi. Rich in the Force, Beautiful and powerful, enigmatic and dangerous, filled with mysteries and open to those comfortable with the Force.

A cruel twist of Isolda's lips would perk, devilish amusement dancing in her silver eyes as the Eye of the Dark Lord would feast upon the sight that would behold the birth of a new era.

For much like the Jedi Knights had decimated the Ember of Vahl cult millennia ago, so too would the One Sith to the broken remains of the Jedi Order. The bitterness and anger would still filter through the tattoo body of the Oracle, a rage that would thrum from within.

They would take from the Jedi like the Jedi took from Vahl. An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth.

A world for a world.

Power would roll, seething in a near tangible cloud of misama. A slow smile spread across Isolda's face before she would turn to the Sith Lord's beside her.

"And we shall be granted the vengeance upon those who have wronged us..." Her purpose, came the unsaid words from the tall and black and red haired woman.

A gust of wind would curl dark tendrils of ebony into the air, dancing away from her pallid face.

"And purge the light from the dawn." It was here that a fortress would be built, a black tower of adamant, that would serve as the base of a new Oracle. Much like the mysterious and unusual device located on the planet Pelgrin, this would be a new symbol of the all seeing Eye. A place that would be warped, twisted, and corrupted until the very fabric of the Force would shred and in its stead manifest into a new tower of power.

"Until every shadow is but a mere extension of Her will and His Fate."

‘Only takes one tree, to make a thousand matches
Only takes one match, to burn a thousand trees
A thousand trees.’

She was tired before she flattened all of the buildings, so she rested. It was a pity there were no people around so she could draw more Force – but she was aware of her sister’s warnings. So she walked around the forest and started to mark trees. Those outside of her design would be burned. It was a rough circle, she knew – but once the men and machines arrived, they would be able to work to her designs.

And once refreshed and after a short sleep, she felt rejuvenated and was able to continue to burn each and every building down until there was nothing left but ash. There was no desecration of the buildings in the end – they were simply empty vessels that she was able to destroy, but the symbolism meant a lot to her. What was once so vital to the Jedi would become something important to the Sith.

So she returned to the ship and worked on her plans – calling up images of the building she had remembered as the template for her design. It would never be her building and its purpose would be at best be something she recommended before others made the decision – but visually it was hers. It was her mark on the planet her dear sister probably held close to her heart at one point.

It could have been so much better, so much more personal – but it was a start. She was shaken from her thoughts by the sound of ships approaching. Good, she thought, the work can start in earnest now.

Taeli smiled as the Mon Cal asked his questions, nodding her head as she thought back on some of the things that had happened recently.

"I've been very well, focusing mainly on my company right now," she replied. "Melori is coming along quite well in her training, even helped me with retrieving a few artifacts that were hidden on Korriban. So yes, quite well indeed."

Turning back to look out the viewport as she ordered the troopers here to load up the prisoners into transports with a simple gesture, she thought about when she had just last been here. Part of her was conflicted about coming here to do this, but she needed to keep that part quiet for now. It wouldn't do if one came to the surface conflicted like that it. It was just begging for a Force Storm to hit.

"This is not going to be pleasant experience, I can feel it," she mumbled, turning on her heel to head for the transport, expecting the Mon Cal to follow her to her personal ship. The Sicarius infiltrator would smoothly move from the frigate's hanger bay, along with a few transports that would be going to the first site. The river nexus would be first, then they would work their way back to the old temples and such, maybe even increase the dark presence of the ruins of Kaleth.

Regardless, as she broke through the atmosphere and landed at the river, she could sense some creature guarding the nexus. Strange, she didn't see anything.

"Something is guarding the cave which has the river nexus." she said, tilting her head in confusion. She had no idea about the [member="Perfectly Ordinary Rabbit"] that would be a powerful foe to overcome, but then she did have some pawns to unleash first.

"Aurek Squad, go deal with whatever is guarding that cave," she ordered, setting foot onto Tython again and watching troopers and prisoners be unloaded. The men of Aurek Squad began moving to the cave mouth, looking for whatever monster was nearby and not paying attention to the rabbit.

Outside the Cave of Caerbannog, Aurek Squad dragged along a prisoner who had grew up on Tython. As they approached the cave, they stopped by some large rocks a ways away from the cave mouth. The prisoner said, "Behold the Cave of Caerbannog." The leader of the squad studied the cave, turned to one of his men, and said,

"Keep me covered." He stood up and started to climb over the rock when his underling replied,

"What with? The sniper rifle or should I go with you?" The squad leader replied in a peeved manner,

"Just keep me covered." He got up again, only to be stopped by the prisoner who said fervently,

"Too late!" Deep from inside the cave, the Force Nexus released a large wave of sound. It would sound like dramatic violin music to the men outside. "There he is!" The prisoner pointed at the mouth of the cave. For a second, nothing happened. Then, hopping out of the cave came a perfectly normal rabbit.

"Where???" said Squad Lead.

"There!!!" whispered the prisoner. All of the squad members looked confusedly at the rabbit.

"What? Behind the rabbit?" asked Squad Lead.

"It IS the rabbit!..." said the prisoner. The realization that their fear had been worked up over a perfectly normal rabbit dawned on the whole squad, so they stood up from their crouched positions. The Squad Lead berated the prisoner.

"You silly sod!"

"What?!?" asked the prisoner.

"You got us all worked up!"

"But it's no ordinary rabbit!" The men started to groan and mutter from annoyed incredulity. "That's the most foul and cruel bad-tempered rodent you've ever set eyes on!" continued the prisoner.

One of the squad members spoke up. "YOU TIT!...I soiled my armor, I was so scared!"

The prisoner interrupted him saying, "Look, that rabbit's got a viscous streak a mile wide! It's a killer!!" One of the squad members had had enough, so he came forward and punched the prisoner in the gut.

The aggressor then spoke, "Get stuffed!"

Coughing on the ground, he gasped out, "It'll do YOU a treat, mate!"

The squad member who had spoiled himself spoke up again, "You manky Sith spit!"

The prisoner wanted to keep his life, but the Beast of Caerbannog scared him more. "I'm warnin' you!"

"What's he do!?! Nibble your shebse!?"

The prisoner tried one last time to explain the situation to them, "He's got HUGE, SHARP...ehh...." He tried to crook his fingers like fangs. "He can leap about..." He groaned in pain. The sucker punch made it hard to think. So, finally, he pointed to the cave and said, "Look at the bones!"

Squad Lead exasperatedly turned to one of the other squad members and said, "Go on, Bors. Chop it's head off with your vibro knife. We can eat it later as a joke."

Bors unsheathed his vibro knife and approached the perfectly normal rabbit, "Right, you silly little critter! One rabbit stew comin' RIGHT UP!..."

Bors blatantly approached the rabbit. "Look!!!" shouted the prisoner. The rabbit leaped into the air and tore out Bors thoat. With a gurgle and a muted scream, Bors fell down dead, his head rolling away from his body.

"SON OF A SCHUTTA!" exclaimed Squad Lead.

"I WARNED YOU! I WARNED you! But did you listen!?! NO!! You were all like "Oh, it's just a perfectly normal rabbit!" but then it does this! It's always the sa---!" yelled the prisoner.

The prisoner was cut off by the anger of Squad Lead. "Oh, shut up!!!" He then pulled out his blaster and shot the prisoner in the head. He got up angrily and everyone else followed suit, readying their weapons. "Right! Let's get 'im!"

With a tremendous cry, the entire squad yelled "CHARGE!!!" They spread out and charged up the sloping hill towards the mouth of the cave and started firing. The rabbit looked up in a surprised fashion and bolted into the cave amidst the blaster fire. The Force Nexus once again let forth harmonious sound, this time sounding like the trumpet fanfare for a medieval charging scene. They got close to the entrance of the cave. They were practically right outside when one of the squad member yelled, "He's on the r---!!" He was cut short as a flash of white bolted and leaped out of the cave entrance. The rabbit was in their midst, leaping to and from the throats of it's enemies, never slowing down like the Energizer Bunny (see what I did there?).

The soldiers, forced to switch to their melee weapons in these close quarters, so as to avoid friendly fire, were being obliterated. They slashed at the air that the rabbit had once occupied, but it was much too fast for them. The Squad Lead looked at the carnage unfolding and made a judgement call. He yelled, "Run away! Run away! Retreat! Run Away!" The rest of the squad took up the cry and followed their leader. The rabbit lazily bounded back inside. Taking stock of the situation, Squad Lead asked, "Right. How many did we lose?"

One of the survivors looked at those present, counted on his fingers, and started listing off squad number listings. Finally, he said, "Well, we were 13 strong and now there's five of us...so we lost 8."

The squad lead replied, "Right. We'd better not try another frontal assault. That rabbit's detonite."

One particular squad member, who had previously soiled his armor, asked, "Would it help to confuse the rabbit if we ran away more?"

Squad Lead replied, "Shut up and go and change your armor." While that squad member walked off to follow orders, they all stood about trying to think up a strategy. One of them spoke up.

"Let us taunt it! It may become so cross that it will make a mistake!"

Squad Lead incredulously asked, "Like what?"

The squad member didn't have a reply and they all stood there at a loss for what to do. Squad Lead was hesitant to do so, but he called in for reinforcements and help.

The Hound

The grass around his feet withered and waned in the mere presence of this abomination. The Force was strong on this planet, and though it lived in all things here it was even more so the case that the Force flowed through all living things. Turin, or the Hound as he was now often called was like a bad wound in the Force. He reeked of corruption, even his breath came out like thick clouds of white miasma on this world. It escaped through the gaps in his skeletal face, between his sharp teeth and at the back of his jaw.

Its black eyes narrowed as it surveyed the area. Safe enough for the Chosen to set foot on. Raising one pale, white arm he pointed and the other lesser Hounds that had been at around him moved forth, scouting the land ahead. They moved with a primal swiftness and ferocity that told of their twisted origin.

An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth.

A world for a world.

The Dai Bendu monks, Tho Yor, Jeedai, Ashla and Bogan. Archaic and ancient words that held little to no meaning to the Galaxy at large, but as always there were exceptions to be made and Carach was one such exception. Darth Plagueis had been another exception and it had been from his extensive archives that the Sith Lord had managed to disconcern a lot of details on the Force Wars, the Order of the Je’daii and a world of other little factoids that had illuminated him before stepping foot on Tython.

Tython… that was a different beast, a planet rich with the Force and sensitive to it like few other planets could boast. Even now, as the Sith’s steps took him to his destination, Carach could feel tiny swirls; currents in the Force that reacted to his own presence.

It wouldn’t be any different for the other Sith exploring the world and it fascinated the Voice of the Dark Lord. His destination was an extrapolation of that interest, Anil Kesh- or at least the site of its old location. Long ago it had been the foremost temple of science and research.

Officially, he had made a deal with Ty’rel Holdings, unofficially… things were obviously simpler than that.

The temple was deserted. Not that much else was to be expected from a planet encircled by the One Sith’s zone of influence. The mere fact that the planet had remained as untouched as it had through the Netherworld Crisis spoke heaps about the importance of this place, or rather the total lack of it but such things were easily rectified.

A tower of terror, the vision of a promised future. All this for the Oracle and Eye of the Dark Lord.

A feeling inside of the acolyte had her stop dead in her tracks as a presence most familiar to her ruptured her senses. [member="The Hound"]s of Vahl. Sena’s eyebrow broke free from her blank stare as curiosity got the better of her. Them being here had two possible explanations that she could think of. One of them was bad and the other one was worse as for a moment she played with the idea that they had been let out to chase her around again.

Maybe it wasn’t quite the reason but keeping a close look at your immediate surroundings suddenly felt like a very good idea. Hunching her back Sena kept her fingers dangling over the hilt on her belt while she pushed more branches aside to reach her new destination. She had to know why they were here. Something inside of her demanded it.

The pale figure of a woman. Black hair as dark as her aura. She seemed to be saying something.

“...-a mere extension of Her will and His Fate.”

No, not saying, preaching. Could it be? A few worried glances checked for hounds. There were none to be seen but surely they were close. The woman up ahead was the Eye. There was no doubt about it. Careful not to overstep any boundaries Sena approached the woman. No words were to be spoken. Her master had taught her the value of silence and it’s many uses. It was time to utilize those lessons.

Also it was a terrifying woman, but that wasn't really something Sena was willing to admit.

Tython.

What a cruel twist of fate that it would, out of all the planets in the galaxy be Tython. His blood upon the ground upon Prakith barely had time to dry, his Jedi skin still freshly shed upon that prison cell floor. Now they were here, his planet, his temple, Hal had spent the majority of his life here, where recitation and repetition had reigned supreme.

Now in replacement it would be razing and ravaging, and it was more than likely that his participation would be gleefully required.

Had the One Sith come here to spite Hal Terrano's already broken soul?

Of course not.

Rotten luck. Another trial, or was it a tribulation to be placed before him? Another fragment of self to be shattered completely and disregarded, no doubt with a carnivorous smile upon the face of that woman. His captor, tormentor and architect.

He stood silently (as per usual), crammed alongside the bodies of the dropship with Sith Acolyte robes draping his flesh, providing him brand new treacherous irritation. The man practically radiated discomfort, his gaze sitting in the spectrum of misery as one might have expected when facing the prospect of destroying your former home.

Almost single-handedly his quiet presence dragged the atmosphere down in such close confines.

How rude.
