Kurt Meyer
Let Me Push That Button

Cartao wasn't a world that Kurt would have considered a primary vacation spot, it wasn't a world that he would have considered anything in fact. There was nothing here that was of any interest to anyone, nothing here that anyone cared about, nothing here that gave anyone any reason to ever actually come here, well, except for one.
That reason was special to Kurt alone thought.
That reason was Jamie Pyne.
Kurt had been talking to Jamie for nearly three months now, holo-messages back and forth, calls every week or so. Both of them tried hard to keep in touch with one another, both of the made their very best attempts at communicating. It was difficult, but rewarding in it's own way. Jamie was apparently doing well with her training and Kurt...well Kurt had been living his life as he had always been, albeit, with a tad more control than before, but just a tad. Now however, Kurt had decided to do something foolish.
He had always played the fool, had always done the foolish thing. It was a part of who he was and how he operated. Back on Tatooine he had made a game of it with his friends, sneaking into Garba The Hutt's Palace, seeing who could get closest to the Tuskens, spray painting on the side of the Arceneau Trade tower, Kurt had done it all. It had been part of the fun of his childhood, doing stupid and dangerous things. So why not carry that into adulthood? Why not continue the trend, especially when the reward was a beautiful girl that was aching to see him as much as he wanted to see her.
That was why he was here.
That was why he was currently clinging to the side of a metal tower hiding in the shadows as best as he could from a patrol of two Clone Soldiers.
He had climbed up here using a sling of rope that he had taken with him, having subtly asked Jamie question after question about the compound that she was staying in. He knew the layout and most of the details, this apparently being some sort of facility that housed the Clone Army of the Republic, or part of it, Kurt had never really paid attention. Either way, Kurt had slowly made his way inside, sneaking through the shadows and eventually making it to one of the towers.
Now he only had to get to Jamie's room.
