Cartao wasn't a world that Kurt would have considered a primary vacation spot, it wasn't a world that he would have considered anything in fact. There was nothing here that was of any interest to anyone, nothing here that anyone cared about, nothing here that gave anyone any reason to ever actually come here, well, except for one.

That reason was special to Kurt alone thought.

That reason was Jamie Pyne.

Kurt had been talking to Jamie for nearly three months now, holo-messages back and forth, calls every week or so. Both of them tried hard to keep in touch with one another, both of the made their very best attempts at communicating. It was difficult, but rewarding in it's own way. Jamie was apparently doing well with her training and Kurt...well Kurt had been living his life as he had always been, albeit, with a tad more control than before, but just a tad. Now however, Kurt had decided to do something foolish.

He had always played the fool, had always done the foolish thing. It was a part of who he was and how he operated. Back on Tatooine he had made a game of it with his friends, sneaking into Garba The Hutt's Palace, seeing who could get closest to the Tuskens, spray painting on the side of the Arceneau Trade tower, Kurt had done it all. It had been part of the fun of his childhood, doing stupid and dangerous things. So why not carry that into adulthood? Why not continue the trend, especially when the reward was a beautiful girl that was aching to see him as much as he wanted to see her.

That was why he was here.

That was why he was currently clinging to the side of a metal tower hiding in the shadows as best as he could from a patrol of two Clone Soldiers.

He had climbed up here using a sling of rope that he had taken with him, having subtly asked Jamie question after question about the compound that she was staying in. He knew the layout and most of the details, this apparently being some sort of facility that housed the Clone Army of the Republic, or part of it, Kurt had never really paid attention. Either way, Kurt had slowly made his way inside, sneaking through the shadows and eventually making it to one of the towers.

Now he only had to get to Jamie's room.

Training was finished for the day. Keira had let Jamie off the hook a bit easier than usual. That wasn't to say the day was easy. Her training sessions generally consisted of morning exercise followed by breakfast, a small 30 minute break, an incredibly long and arduous run down and back up Clone's Trail, the single point of entry atop the giant mountain that the complex reset on. From there, she would have 20 minutes for lunch and rest. Following that there was lightsaber or Force training depending on the day. That particular day had been saber training. To be honest it was her preferred schedule. The blonde was far more adept with a lightsaber than she was with the Force. Even after months she could rarely hold focus for longer than a few short seconds. It was clear that the majority of her ability would come in the form of physical combat.

While she still could barely hold a candle to Keira in terms of skill, she was at least comfortable with the weapon at this point. Jamie still did not possess a weapon of her own, though Keira had promised to help her build one soon enough. The prospect of it made her stomach giddy. The color of Keira's was a magnificent hue of orange. Hopefully Jamie would be able to find a crystal that satisfied her, preferably a yellowish one. She often thought about it, what life would be like once she'd been ready to stand beside Keira, instead of behind her.

Then there was Kurt. She was still very much attracted to him, and despite their distance had maintained contact. Every time she received a new message or got a call from him it filled her with a special type of joy that couldn't be found elsewhere. While she laid in bed, each night before she fell asleep she would silently wish him good-night, a soft whisper toward the sky in hopes that he somehow heard her, silly as it was. The Mp3 player that doubled as a comm she wore at all times, even to bed, save for when she was in training out of fear of breaking it. Otherwise she listened to the music he had loaded on to it every night and morning, occasionally sending messages back and forth.

Keira and Jamie didn't share a room, though the elder girl was just a ways down the hall from her. Her room wasn't huge, but it was spacious and comfortable. She had a small collection of things. A bracelet she'd bought with the remainder of her credits that had a sparkling green sheen to it. It sat atop the nightstand beside her lamp next to the bed. Beneath the sheets her head bounced on top of the pillow as she listened to the music, allowing her legs and arms to relax. If Keira was still awake she didn't know, the headphones blocked out most sound from her ears.

Well, this was new even for him.

Sneaking was never really his specialty, at one point he had thought about becoming a spy instead of a pilot, but then he realized that fighting his natural inclinations would only end up in misery. Of course, the funny thing was that eventually he would end up roommates with a spy, but that was neither her nor there. The point of it was that Kurt had no real skill in stealth, or sneaking in general. What he did have was a natural inclination of luck, and a whole lot of insider info.

"Okay, now where are you..." He talked to himself in a hushed whisper, his eyes surveying the buildings below.

Jamie had said that hers was the window overlooking one of the courtyards. Not much detail, but with everything else that he had surmised about the place he was able to pin point exactly it was where Jamie stayed. A slight smirk carried over his lips as he found the window, the large pane of glass being slightly cracked. The latter bit of information made him want to jump for joy, a smirk falling on his lips as he slowly began to shimmy his way down the tower.

A few times he had to stop, the Clone Guards patrolling beneath him or stopping for something.

Oddly enough, Kurt never once found himself nervous of anxious, just the opposite in fact. Every time he came closer and closer to getting caught Kurt found himself invigorated. It made him move faster, think a little bit smarter, and want to reach his goal all the more.

Eventually he managed to find that window, crossing the courtyard in a crouched sprint and thudding against the wall. Slowly The courier peeked up and into the room, looking about. Unfortunately it was too dark to see, his eyes having only adjusted to the outside. A hushed curse, and Kurt slowly slipped his fingers beneath the open part of the window. As slowly, and as quietly as he could, Kurt opened the pane of glass, climbing into the room with untold sneakyness.

Upon entering her bedroom, Kurt would likely hear the sound of the music blaring from muffled headphones tucked into her ears. She very well could have heard him enter, had she not been wearing them. Unfortunately she was far too engrossed in her own little world of rocking out and head bobbing to realize that anyone had just broken into her bedroom. She was entirely unskilled with the Force, so the Danger Sense that most users felt was lost on her. The girls eyes were closed. If Kurt approached the bed he would find her squirming around beneath the sheets, a head and blonde hair the only thing to be seen of her body. This was her nightly ritual. She may have told him once or twice about it, but to see it in person? It was terribly embarrassing; Something she'd never planned on him seeing.

Then again, she also never planned on him breaking into the complex and her bedroom in the middle of the night.

So that was something.

The room inside was poorly lit, though very neat and tidy. Jamie was a very neat person by nature, but living somewhere other than a home that was hers made her compulsively neat. Everything had its' own little space. Whenever something was moved, used, or otherwise displaced it always found its' way back to its' rightful place. She liked things that way. Perhaps it was a quirk, a habit, or a borderline disorder. Either way, the world seemed a better place to her when there was nothing to trip over, or lose in a clutter.

For a brief second he looked around. Jamie had described her room a few times, had even shown him on a holo-call once or twice. He saw the decorations on the wall, the familiar bedframe, and he breathed a sigh of relief. There had always been a chance that he would happen to stumble into someone else's room, and that would have been an unmitigated disaster, likely ending up with him getting shot, stabbed, or thrown around with the force.

Breathing a bit more easily now, Kurt quietly put down the backpack that he had been carrying.

The leather bag made a soft thud, Kurt having taken it mostly because he had no idea how long he would be staying here and hadn't taken The Messa to actually come to Cartao. It was stilled with essentials mostly, some ration bars, clothes, and of course a small communicator that he could use in case he needed to call Kaile on her mission and get her to bring his ship back, though that shouldn't be necessary.

He stretched slightly, noticing a slight squirming beneath the blankets as he peeked his head up.

A smirk pulled across his lips, eyes wandering over Jamie's small frame within the bed. Slowly he rounded on her, his shoes falling off his feet as he made his way towards her side. The difficulty was, of course, in not scaring her out of her mind while waking her up. Letting out a loud sigh Kurt slowly bent over the bed, half leaning on it and putting the weight of his knee on it's edge. He would give her a familiar touch with one hand, his palm sliding onto her neck and his thumb stroking softly across her cheek. His other hand would bring a finger to his own lips, hopefully silencing her if she opened her eyes.

The song she'd been listening to for the past few minutes began to wind down, the volume lowering in preparation for the next song. During that interim period there was a sudden shift in weight and angle of the mattress Jamie was laying on. Immediately it startled her, though not nearly as much as when her eyes opened and saw a darkened figure leaning over her. A dim reflective glare of light bouncing off darkened pupils made the blonde's eyes widen in a surge of panic. To be killed in one's own bed listening to music in the middle of the night was certainly a terrible way to go. Fear swept over her like the tides of the ocean rolling in. In the dark it was impossible for the girl to see that it was Kurt who had crept into her bedroom, somehow avoiding the guards while simultaneously navigating his way to her room, on top of sneaking in through a window. No, that would have been nigh impossible for her to assume when taking into account the thousands of more likely possibilities.

A wicked shriek erupted from the girl's lungs, a primal fear evoked by the man towering over her. In a flash of reflex her hand swept forward, a wave of telekinetic energy bursting from the deep core of Jamie's being, channeled through her hand of which was thrust forward at the man peering over her. While the girl was still hardly a master of the uses of the Force, it would come as a rather aggressive shove, hopefully knocking back her would-be intruder long enough for her to clamor out of bed and attempt some sort of defense, or at the very least run and get Keira.

Kurt flailed wildly. "Jamie!"

His voice rang out, though still half a hushed whisper since he was still trying to be quiet. She would be able to tell that it was him though, at least over the quieted noise of the song. With a heavy thud he went tumbling onto the ground, crashing against the floor and smacking his head against the ground. Ouch.

That was going to hurt in the morning.

To be fair to her, there had probably been a better way to approach her than simply slipping into her room at night and touching her, perhaps he should have sent a text message or something of the sort before actually making his way into the compound. Yet one couldn't blame him, he was trying to be romantic after all and how could she blame him for that? Still, the brunt of the force push had surprised him, knocking him straight off of his feet and onto the floor where he now lay.

Jamie scrambled to get out of the bed as quickly as her body would allow. She'd be damned if someone was going to quietly murder her in her own bed. Her thoughts fell briefly to the woman down the hall, her teacher and friend, the one who had become like a sister she never had. Was she OK? Was she subdued first? Was Jamie a loose end? What exactly was going on? The moment bare feet touched the cool wooden floor of the bedroom her eyes focused on the form of the man that now lay a few feet away. Starting a fight in a pair of thin shorts and a loosely fitting tank-top was hardly intimidating, though when she heard her name called out, and the sound of the voice speaking it, instantly her breath escaped her.

"Kurt!?"

Without hesitation she ran over, kneeling on the floor beside him, her hands reaching for his head and shoulder to help sit him upright.

"What are you doing!?" She now had a million questions, but that seemed like the proper opener for the evening.

Kurt sat up, his hand reaching up to his head to rub the spot where his skull had smashed into the ground. There was a dull aching throb there, something that would likely go away within the hour but it still hurt now. He pressed his head gently, wincing slightly as he felt the pain lance.

"Well." The Courier said in that hushed whisper still, looking up at Jamie as she cradled him. "I was trying to surprise you!"

He thought that might have been obvious at least.

Of course the surprise had actually been far more difficult to achieve than he had originally thought it would, what with all the security and the guards that hung around this place. "Looks like I succeeded."

He gave her a flat stare with half a smile.

"You scared the poodoo out of me!" She exclaimed, her voice still a bit shrill, though quiet so not to wake anyone.

Hopefully her earlier scream hadn't awoken anyone else. Jamie helped Kurt up to his feet, tugging him towards her bed to sit down while she took up a spot beside him.

"Are you insane? Sneaking into this place? You could have gotten killed!"

If Keira had seen him, or one of the more jumpy guards, Kurt very well could have seen his life cut substantially short, especially if her elder was in a mood. Keira had an edgy side that was rarely seen, but it was there, buried deep beneath hardened walls that Jamie had thus far managed to avoid tempting.

"It would have still been a surprise if you just told me you were here you know." Her nerves began to calm a bit, her heart beat slowing to a normal rhythm once more. Jamie leaned over, arms squeezing tightly around his chest, hugging him for the first time in months. It felt incredible to see and touch him again. A swath of joy filled her as she held onto him for a full minute.

"I've missed you."

He smiled at her.

Of course Kurt wasn't really all that mad, he had expected her to react a bit differently, but the way that he had approached her...well it left much to be desired on a romantic standpoint. He gave her a shy, boyish smile, as she mentioned just giving her a call. "But that wouldn't have been as fun."

Or maybe it would have.

The arm that wasn't supporting him wrapped around the small of her back, Kurt pulling her close and into him so that her neck would come to meet his lips. He gave her skin a slow kiss there, taking a deep breath and just allowing the scent of her to fall over him. He smiled, closing his eyes and just enjoying the feeling of having her in his arms again. She felt stronger, it was hard to describe how, but she did. There was a certain air about her that hadn't been there last time. Confidence born of knowledge and training.

"I missed you too." He said with a smile.

While Kurt saw to kissing her neck she would quietly whisper to him. "Are you okay?" The tumble he had taken seemed pretty rough and heavy. He'd hit his head and was rubbing at it for a moment. Jamie felt bad, though it really was his own fault for scaring her the way he did. There was no way she would have ever expected him to just suddenly appear in her bedroom like that. She could swear she had a small heart attack from the ordeal.

"It might not have been as fun, but it would have saved me a panic attack." There was a teasing nature to her tone as she spoke, the abundance of joy in seeing him clear. Her hand brushed away the loose locks of hair that fell along her face back behind her ears, turning to face Kurt and press her lips softly against his. The longing and desire she had bottled up for months had finally found an avenue of escape through the only means of relief she'd waited so long for.

When finally she pulled back from his sweet, tender kiss, she realized there were still a hundred and one questions to ask him.

"How did you get here? Where did you leave your ship? Did you bring Kaile with you? Where is she?" Then she thought about what would happen if Keira found him here. "This is dangerous for you to be here."

She berated him with more questions than he knew what to do with, his lips still tasting of her own even as she asked him about...well pretty much everything. He shifted slightly on the uncomfortable ground, his arm twisting around her so that he could better sit up. He would pulled her into his lap so that she was facing away from him, his arms wrapping around her and his hands settling directly on her stomach even as his nose nuzzled into her neck.

"Kaile took The Messa on a trip." Kurt said answering two of her questions. "She dropped me about fifteen miles from here using the cloak."

"I hiked the rest of the way here, climbed over the wall, and well...here we are." Kurt shrugged.

The hike hadn't been too bad really. Cartao's surface was lovely, terrestrial and quite nice to walk across, there had even been some rivers and lakes that he had stopped at on the way there. Briefly he wondered if perhaps he should have taken pictures along the way, shown them to Jamie. She had mentioned before that she hadn't left the compound much, though he figured that had been because of the amount of training that she was going through. "It's fine."

A kiss planted on the nape of her neck.

"I wanted to see you." His lips lingered.

Kurt had come a long way to simply see her. It was very sweet, really. Dangerous and incredibly stupid, but sweet. Holding up her hand she showed him the player he'd given her. "Told you I listened to it every night." With a smile she dropped her hand back down, both of hers squeezing his lightly. "I'm glad you came though. I've wanted this since we separated on Byblos." Every day the blonde had thought of him. In the morning when she awoke she would look out the window, greet the day and Kurt, wherever he was, and again at night, before she went to sleep, even on the days they had exchanged communication. It was her thing, she didn't feel right not doing it.

"It's beautiful here though. It reminds me of home sometimes. Once you get away from the complex and a bit further down the mountain everything comes alive. It's incredible."

Jamie took Kurt's hand, pulling him up and off the floor and to her soft, pillowy bed.It was adorned with a pristine white comforter with baby blue sheets and pillow cases. There was one long body pillow that was roughly 3 feet in length, three large head pillows and a number of blankets atop a soft cotton sheet. One thing she loved was sleep. Comfortable, restful sleep. Her bed was her masterpiece of artwork. The pillows simply absorbed one's head, the blankets kept her incredibly warm and comfortable.

The blonde pulled back the sheets, scooting herself up the bed and tucking her feet beneath the covers, waiting for Kurt to join, and perhaps make himself a bit more comfortable.

Kurt began to strip as he wandered over towards the bed. His shoes were the first things to go, slipped off by the press of his toes against heels. His shirt came second, tossed on top of his shoes. Finally he pulled his belt free, the bantha leather was thrown halfway across the room, Kurt finding the closer he got the less he cared. His pants were the final thing to come free, dropping just in time for him to step into the side of her bed and slowly slip beneath the covers.

He shivered slightly, his skin extra sensitive to the cold air that seemed to linger within the room. Despite being in space for the last five years The Courier still didn't do well with cold. He had grown up on Tatooine, within the heat of the twin suns, the cold? It wasn't for him.

As he slipped into the bed and the covers folded around him Kurt couldn't help but touch her. His fingers went sailing beneath her shirt, pressing and lightly grazing over her hip to slide across the small of her back. He flexed his arm, pulling her close and against him, fingers gently sailing down her spine in a soft caressing touch. A wide smile pulling across his lips as he gave her a deep kiss, tongue gently pushing against her own before he pulled himself back.

"Cold." He said as another shiver went down his spine.

Unable to help herself from staring at him as he relieved himself of the majority of his clothes the girl bit down on the corner of her lower lip, a cheeky smile taking over her enthralled face. She practically bounced in the bed with anticipation for Kurt to join her. There was something incredibly intimate about sharing her bed with him, if even for just a single night that shot wave after wave of excitement through her body. A small gust of cool air passed beneath the covers as Kurt unfurled them to climb in beside Jamie, sparking a small flash of goosebumps along her bare arms and legs.

The moment he touched her though it was as if fireworks went off within her. The blonde girl's eyes lit up something fierce, and she wiggled herself even closer toward him, her own hands wandering over his arms and chest, gently pawing at him like a pet reunited with its' master for the first time in months. Kissing him was her own little piece of heaven; A small escape from reality that sent her into space. As he kissed her with the desire of a lost lover her tongue followed his play, swirling over and around his in a passion that she held for nothing and nobody else but him.

When they finally broke away from one another for a moment Jamie would draw in a deep breath, releasing it slowly, her eyes still firmly closed, basking in the moment. "I've missed that too."

Kurt grinned.

It was nice to know that after so many months he still had the very same effect on her. Truthfully there had been a slight worry that she'd moved on from him, that she'd learned what kind of a scoundrel he was, that he wasn't worth it. An odd fear for someone like him to have, but he had it nonetheless. He smiled at her, his fingers gently tracing up and down her spine in an affectionate touch. There was a joy in hearing her speak those words, one that made Kurt seem like a spoiled puppy.

"Oh?" He whispered in her ear, slowly kisses the side of her face as the scruff of his face scratched at her soft cheek. "What else have you missed?"

His other hand slid beneath her hip, thumb gently pressing into her as he pulled her closer.

Kurt had missed this as well. He had missed touching her, the feel of her, the reactions that poured from her at his every move. It was like a a play for him all alone, something that she would not do for any other. It played to his strengths, to his wants and needs.

The only answer Jamie had for Kurt when he'd asked the question and shifted his hand was one of an unintelligible moan. The blonde haired girl gaped her mouth, some form of syllables in varying tones poured out before she silenced herself by pressing her hands firmly against each side of his face and sealing their lips together in a wild kiss. The muscles in both arms and legs tightened, feeling Kurt teasing her soft skin with his gentle caressing. No matter where he touched her it drove her wild. There was a certain indescribable magic about him that she simply couldn't resist, or get enough of.

"That." She finally mustered to say, though the pitch of her voice still notably shifting as his hands continued to trace along her skin.

Something Jamie knew Kurt liked was her playful submissiveness to his wants and desires. It made him feel in control of her, all the while giving him subtle cues that he followed to provide her the sweet, tenderness that he tried so desperately to hide behind walls of bravado. It was really quite adorable to her. In the end, she gave him what he craved, and even if he hadn't known it, he gave her everything she wanted and more in return.

His fingers would tighten on her skin, his arms slowly wrapping around her as he shifted their weight. He moved on top of her, slowly rolling so that his body covered hers beneath the blankets.

A rush of cold air touched his skin, goosebumps flowing over his skin as the contrasting sensations began to pull at him. His hands wrapped around the edge of the blanket, pulling them up and over the both of their heads to trap their own warmth beneath the covers. "Well, I can provide plenty of that while I'm here."

Kurt pressed his lips into her neck, his hands slowly sliding up her hips and pulling away fabric as he did so. Her shirt would slowly slide up, revealing her navel and slightly flexing stomach.

There was a joy to this, the teasing, giving into his cravings. He could hardly describe to anyone how it felt for him, it was beyond the norm, beyond the idea of giving into ones base desires. For Kurt, this was something more. Touching her skin, hearing her breath, feeling her squirm beneath him, it was it's own kind of ecstasy, and as he ran his fingers gently over her stomach he couldn't help but let out a groan of want and need.

Pale blues looked upwards at Kurt as he lingered on top of her, turning her head away from Kurt to give him easier access to kiss her neck. Her only response to his touch and kissing came as soft whimpers and incomprehensible noises. Her hands slipped around behind his back, brightly painted red nails sinking their way into the bare skin along his broad shoulders. The expression she gave him in that moment was one of mischievous intent. A devilish grin found its' way to her lips, her eyes widening as the nails in his back registered on his face, as if knowing the subtle pain he was about to experience from her clawing at him, before dragging her nails in unison down his back, either side of his spine, to just above his own hips. Jamie's mouth would slowly open wider and wider the further she drove her fingers, an almost too excited expression as she teased him with a bit of pain.

Jamie wasn't quite done there though, her legs wrapped around Kurt, locking just below his rear so that he had nowhere to maneuver without forcing her legs from him with a great bit of strength. Not that she was strong physically, but she had a good hold, and a perfect position to maintain that grip. The girl's stomach and upper body wiggled in delight, watching his reaction to her every move.
