  HISTORY​

  Born on Feriae Junction to Hawke Braxis in the city of New Junction, Melvain was raised in the household of a Regent. After a lifetime of service to the Mandalorians, Hawke held the planet together after their absence and upon their return retained his position as Regent under the Mandalorian Empire. As a military man, Hawke kept the Red Legion in tip-top shape, becoming a strong military power in the region. As his son, Melvain was inducted into the military academy at Fort Tefka where he learned skills in piloting, marksmanship, and Mandalorian hand-to-hand. After he graduated, he didn't take up a position in the Red Legion and instead studied at university. When the Sith Empire took the world, Melvain was taken from his dorm room on Coruscant and held hostage to keep Hawke and the Red Legion in line after the defection of Irveric Tavlar and the start of the Sith-Imperial Civil War. Pressed into service, Melvain was made into a Sith Imperial officer. At the battle of Schism's Dawn, however, he was captured as a prisoner of war. During his incarceration, his father staged a rebellion and was killed by the Sith Empire. Joining the New Imperial Order as an Imperial Knight, he fought against the Sith to free his home and avenge his father's death. Distinguishing himself during the war he was raised to a full Imperial Knight and took the title of Warlord after his home was liberated. Now a staunch Imperial, he fully supports the new Emperor Fel despite having sympathies for some of his fellow Warlords.

  After months of training, Melvain is inducted into the knights as a Knight Errant. After the battles of Darkness Falls and Traitor's Gate, Melvain distinguished himself during the battle for New Junction. Freeing his home and claiming the title Knight Regent, becoming the de facto ruler, putting his family in power again and taking the New Imperial title of Warlord.

  Irverik Tavlar is killed in an assassination attempt. After seizing emergency power from the Moff Council, the Imperial Knights rally behind their High Knight Marshal, Rurik Fel. Melvain was no exception, throwing his support behind the new Emperor to provide security for his people.
  

  

  
  THE IMPERIAL MISSION
  After the battle of Tython Melvain took a step away from war. Suffering from severe Battle Shock he allowed to his duties as a Moff supersede his duties as an Imperial Knight. For his service to that point he was appointed the rank of Knight Commander and took command of the Imperial Mission chapter of the Blazing Claw Oversector. He found his work with the mission to be rewarding but also worrying. A staunch Paelleonist, the rise in fanatic Felism in the Imperial Knights and the meteoric surge towards Tarkanism in the government made living conditions in various parts of the Empire more difficult. As part of the Mission he saw how these things were beginning to hurt the everyday Imperial, driving a wedge between himself and other Moffs and Imperial Knights.

Red Legion of New Junciton

Forged by Mandalore the Builder and his generals, the Red Legion was once the volunteer army of the Mandalorian Clans. Warriors who would not take up The Way, but wished to fight beside legendary warriors. After the fall of the Mandalorian Clans they retreated to New Junction where they maintained a semblance of control as the worlds within Mandalorian Space began to turn on one another, forgetting the bonds that made them one of the most powerful forces in the Galaxy. Under Hawke Braxis, these brave men and women became protectors and mercenaries in the sector and maintained order in the absence of the Mandalorians.

Taken during the downfall of the new Mandalorian Empire, the Red Legion was forced into the service of the Sith Empire after their heir, Melvain Braxis was kidnapped and held hostage. After Melvain's capture as a prisoner of war the Red Legion rebelled, throwing the region into chaos. Returning during the final battles of the war, Melvain took command of the Red Legion and with the New Imperial Order pushed the Sith from New Junction. With their leader returned safely, the Red Legion fights for the Empire, using their training to serve as relief for exhausted troops fighting against the Maw's raiders.

Crimson Command

Under the command of Knight Regent Melvain Braxis and General Dris of the Red Legion, the Crimson Command was the modest fleet of warships dedicated to the defense of Feriae Junction and the offensive actions to be carried out by the local Stormtrooper Garrison and Red Legion. Comprised the flagship, Crimson Command, her sister ship, the Red Hawke, crimson Valiant-Class Star Destroyers, and their support vessels, the fleet of the minor Warlord was formidable in its region. Untested in any real conflict, however, it remains a hidden blade hidden behind the Iron Curtain.

General Robert Dris

Born on Pamarthe, Robert Dris joined the Galactic Republic during its reconstitution as a pilot. At the Battle of Junction, his fighter went down and he lost his legs and left arm. Deemed unable to fly by the Republic due to the severe nerve damage he sustained, he retired to the world that saved his life. After the Mandalorians reestablished control of the world he was hired on as an air instructor and space warfare instructor. Over time as his wounds healed fully joined the new Red Legion and was trained to be a Red Force Commando by Mandalorian Supercommandoe Azrael . After the Mandalorians were forced to leave New Junction behind, he along with Hawke Braxis maintained the Red Legion. After Hawke's death during the rebellion, Robert Dris took on the rank of General and led the Red Legion in guerilla-style strikes that kept the Sith on the backfoot until the New Imperial Order arrived. Upon Melvain Braxis taking his rightful place, Robert was asked to maintain his position and was promoted to Lord General of the Red Legion ground and space forces. Taking command of the Red Hawke, he commanded half of Crimson Command and most of the ground forces.
