Chaos tends to take more than it gives me now, and I've slowly been become more and more jaded for any number of reasons. This is often why I haven't been as active lately - dealing with this drama storm or that, and not having stories I enjoy eventually tipped the scales into me no longer enjoying Chaos or the SO like I once did.

And, that isn't fair to the faction. You guys deserve a present and willing owner, who actually enjoys the job.

So, I'm going to step down. This won't be some large speech on what I've done or managed to do, or whatever else. I have no nominations to give, read into that as much as you'd like.

Empyrean will disappear to deal with the Worm Emperor, and the faction can decide what happens in the succession crisis. I'll write with the faction eventually, but I think I need time and space away from it all to really rebuild my creativity and enjoyment of writing. Right now, it is just too draining to be around.

My only advice for whoever gets the position: Don't be fooled into thinking you're some political mastermind who can OOC'ly get your way through pressure or manipulation, you most certainly can't. Don't be fooled into thinking that MFO will make people respect your character, even if you make them Emperor. The faction lives and breaths on having clear and distinct leaders - so that will be up to you to build a story they're invested in being apart of, even if that doesn't mean you get the clout of being Dark Lord.

She has proven time and time again to be an amazing, effective leader. A problem solver, a mediator. Someone with all the gifts to excel, a proven track record as Site Staff, going back to the sites start, even Factory Administrator in her day. If you were looking for someone who would have the experience, know how for the job, Quinn/Allyson Is by far the best candidate for the job. I nominate her for Major Faction Owner.

Frankly there are a ton of incredibly talented writers and kind people amongst the Sith who could fill the roll of MFO, but I have to put forward Strosius for the position. Based on my own interactions and the praise of countless other people who have interacted and wrote with Strosius, I believe he would be an excellent fit for MFO.

For those of you that I haven't had the pleasure of speaking or writing with yet, hello! I'm Geth and I've had the honor of being part of Chaos for the better part of five years now. All of which has been spent writing with the Sith and most of which having been on the staff team of the Sith Empire/Sith Order! I've always tried to maintain a consistent activity not just for myself but for the faction as well, making sure that we always have threads going for folks to write in and enjoy.

I've seen a lot of change over my relatively short time here, I've seen the ups and downs of our faction and I like to think that I've been helping in keeping the ship afloat and on a good course as it were. I am always open to questions, comments, or just general chat so if you have anything you wish to know about myself, our faction, or the plans I have for us going forward then please don't hesitate to reach out however you feel comfortable.

Thank you all and I hope to see many more contenders for the election, we have a lot of bright folks and fun writers who would make excellent leaders!

I'd like to nominate Darth Strosius . From my own experience in TSO, Ali has been consistent with engaging stories, approachable leadership, and genuine support for fellow/new writers.

I believe Ali would not only preserve what's already strong about the Sith Order but also help it grow with new ideas and opportunities. With their creativity/reliability, I'm confident they could guide the faction into its next chapter.

Gosh, both Ali and Quinn are great choices, each with their own strengths and appeals! Way I see it, Ali is an active writer and content generator, yet is sometimes hesitant to coordinate with other factions. Quinn has good relations with most everyone, but may not have the same content creation proclivities. Thank goodness you’re both on the same team regardless!

I’m going to nominate Quinn Varanin on account of the pleasant relations we’ve built with one another, and because she’s done a good job of reaching out and including me in her storytelling efforts of late!

Thank you to everyone who nominated me. I was taken entirely by surprise. I would have never in a million years have guessed that people were willing to trust me with a major faction. The Sith have always been a place for me to call home, even when I was a predominant Jedi writer. I always found stories that I loved and rich character development with all of you.

As writers, you are all so willing and ready to create captivating stories that make Chaos so much fun. Even when things are slow, the community is always there, always prepared to jump in and have fun, hang out, and support one another.

To me, that's what makes a major faction: the people and their stories.
With that, I will be conceding the nomination in support of Strosius becoming MFO. He is one of the best choices, and while I would love to lead the Sith into another prosperous era, I would have to resign as board staff.

I will be staying on as admin to help Strosius and the rest of the team push forward with wonderful new narratives and continue with what we have going on.

I'm sorry I'm pulling out so late. Still, I wanted to give this option careful consideration, because I genuinely love and care for this community. More often than not, this community is why I've stayed at Chaos and continued to write.
