The Mando'ade consists of numerous, Mandalorian Colonies upon several worlds.
Every Colony is essentially sovereign its own right, only having to answer to the authority of two individuals. The first of these is the Colony's Chieftain: one who is chosen for excellent reputation, skill, and loyalty to the cause. The second is the Mand'alor, the man to whom all Mandalorians kneel. (This mantle is currently held by [member="Vilaz Munin"].) The Chieftain, essentially, acts as a "Sole Ruler" over their Colony. It is their responsibility to make sure that their people are fed, defended, and maintain the Resol'nare. Success in this regard brings immense honor to the Chieftain and their Colony. Failure will see the individual stripped of their position, and if need be, declared Dar'manda. It is to be noted that, should a successor to the Mand'alor need to be chosen, it is the Chieftains alone who are eligible.
Only they, who have proven themselves capable of keeping a large Mandalorian population alive, can hope to ascend to that mantle.

Description:
The Mando'ade is a movement born of calamity. Originally a word synonymous with Mandalorian, the term has evolved to represent the reigning Mand'alor's cause. Currently, the Mandalorian homeworld is in shambles, untold millions are displaced, and the Clans have scattered. In the wake of this reality, the Mando'ade work to restore their wounded culture as best they can. This has, and will continue to, prove challenging as the movement is bereft of the stability, assets, and numbers of the past. Gone is the ability to spread the Resol'nare through Planetary Conquest. Gone is the ability to defeat calamity through might alone.
And so, the Mando'ade have adapted.
By decree of their Mand'alor, first priority was placed upon the settling of their lost vode. Although reconstruction of their home was underway, to simply leave their millions bereft would not do. As such, the Mando'ade developed a new approach that would see their people rehomed...and see new worlds exposed to the Resol'nare. They have begun to construct a series of Mandalorian Colonies abroad. Upon each civilized world that they visit, an attempt to treat with the natives is undertaken. The Mando'ade offer their services as warriors and protectors, vowing to shield the planet from all danger, in exchange for the ability to purchase a sizeable cut of land. From there, a sovereign colony is erected while the Mandalorian people attempt to co-exist and collaborate with their newfound neighbors.
While the system is far from flawless, it has empowered the Mandalorian people to do something mighty.
It has enabled them to stand on their feet again.
It has enabled them to Survive.
The Pitch:
The Mando'ade's emphasis is upon writing the Mandalorian story in a different light.
Since the start of the board, the denizens of Mandalore have been a dominant force. Yet now, we are going to tell the story of what happens when their entire culture is up against a wall. Now, we are going to tell the story of their Survival. We won't be Crusading, Conquering, or shooting NPCs for one hundred posts. Instead, we will be exploring a new Mandalorian path - one where we aren't even the rulers of the worlds within our sphere of influence. We would like all who have ever had the desire to write a Mandalorian to join us as we try something new!
