Looting a planet

Hi folks. I've started a public thread, mainly to RP the founding of a new faction and give new and joining members something to do. At the moment, we're doing our intro posts, but we will soon be heading for the planet Lorrd in former Dominion space to secure all "strategic assets" there (anything of value).

There is a big library on the planet, containing a lot of highly valuable material. I was wondering if anyone else was interested in trying to loot the place and provide us a bit of competition.

Keep in mind that we will be making an effort to blockade the planet and search all departing ships (if we find anything hidden, or of value, it will be "confiscated"), so if you get involved, you will also have to deal with that by running the blockade, tricking/bluffing your way out, or whatever other means you come up with. Anyone interested?

Perhaps my nation of nomadic spacefarers who love to loot, could join your nation of nomadic spacefarers who love to loot, and perhaps forge some relations and history? We space communists are nothing if not friendly, we'd love to help.

As unscrupulous as they want. Looters/raiders don't have to be allied with me, they can run their own thing. Basically, the situation is that the national govt under who's jurisdiction this planet was, has collapsed. Now everyone is scrambling to get whatever is left of value and/or get out before some big faction shows up. Its total chaos.

[member="Kainan Wolfe"] I don't think you'd enjoy how this character does her looting. A lot of violence, explosions, and nerve gas for those and their families that stand in her way.

Blonde however would love to be an outside consultant/fence/trader who can assist in a more administrative role. Though the other option is on the table.

You can pick whichever approach works for you / makes sense based on how the story develops. Violence and explosions wouldn't necessarily be too much of an issue, unless you bring a large army with you.

I forgot to clarify, anyone can jump into the thread at any time they like. We're wrapping things up at Ession and will be jumping straight into Lorrd ourselves, next turn. Let's get the party rolling.
