LFG Looking to write with some new people

Hello there. So I've joined chaos nearly two months ago and so far I've been sticking to writing with a close group of friends that also joined around the same time. It's been fun and has given me a chance to get used to the site, build a roster of characters and get used to developing their voices. I'm now finding myself wanting to branch out and meet all the wonderful writers that exist on Chaos and do some threading, especially because I feel I want some fresh eyes and minds to write with. So yeah if you're fixing for a new RP partner feel free to shoot me a pm here on the site or through discord (name is Caught in Strangereal). Feel free to look up any threads they have been featured in to serve as a sample for both my writing and how these characters are to thread with and once again don't be afraid to shoot me message.

But first a little bit about each of my characters.

Amur:
She's my current main and quite the mental headcase. She's a Sith manipulator that mainly acts to benefit herself or to work some kind of angle or goal. She's not the type of Sith that'll just massacre a village for funsies unless it'll achieve a goal like motivating others to act or create a certain reaction for example. She seeks power but unlike some Sith who may merely equate power with physical dominance, or power in the force she also values Soft power as well. Through my current rps she's currently struggling with the fact that she's been showing a softer side to someone and trying to hide it from peering eyes in the Empire who might smell weakness.

I'm open to threading and mingling with others inside the Empire whether it be uneasy partnerships, rivals or someone who may want to mentor and guide her to expanding her power and corrupting herself further with the Dark side of the Force. I'm also open to threading with people who aren't Sith in order to help establish some allies and power outside of tradition Sith space and channels, so if you want to have a darksider occupy your travels and watch your back I'm open to that. One final note I'm having Amur stay outside of the whole civil war breaking out amongst the Sith but that's mainly due to the fact I feel way too new to Chaos to feel comfortable wading in that affair.

Hans Vitel:
Hans meanwhile is a wandering Mercenary pilot that's been disillusioned by his service with The Sith Empire. He's a lost soul wandering from spaceport to spaceport badly in search of something to fight for as he takes jobs and offers his services as a fighter pilot to scrap by. He's an ace behind the stick but not much in a normal shootout. He's philosophical, a bit of a flirt and generally skeptical of dogma and ideology. He also plays the quetarra if you're into that kind of thing.

With him I'm looking to have him mingle with a bunch of peeps of different lifestyles and world views and engage them in thought and discussion as he tries to settle on what he's most comfortable with believing. He'll likely lean towards being an anarchist and the Agents of chaos but I'm flexible and if it fits I could have him join pretty much anything. Just one thing. He doesn't like Sith and is basically treating all of the Sith Empire as one big NOPE zone. So I doubt he'll likely be the friendliest person around those people.

Revora Musana:
My Mandalorian Cathar, a catmando if you will. Ok now that I made you cringe with that let's go into her deal. Revora was a smuggler who was operating outside of Imperial space when Mandalore was invaded, leading to her being separated from her father and Brother. With the attempt to liberate Mandalore being a failure she has grown quite bitter over that and determined to find and rescue her family from Sith tyranny. She's serious on the job and tries to watch over people's back but there's a looser more playful side to her for those that are willing to try and pry that out from her.

While I'm struggling to find the motivation to write her right now I do have some ambitious plans for her if I get her off the ground. I'm hoping to ultimately have her form a Mandalorian covert (much in the style of the one in The Mandalorian) operating inside TSE space and working as a underground resistance. Doing subversive activities and shady resistance type stuff to undermine the Empire as well as discover and document the Sith's Mando purge. I'm also open to threads outside of Empire space doing mercenary work, bounty hunting or even common smuggling.

E-ka
E-ka oh boy E-ka, where do I begin? I'm gonna be honest this character is just pure chaos. She's an old Droideka model dating from the Clone wars that's been modified over the years. Having her personality reprogrammed to serve as a nurse droid at an orphanage she now has a cutesy bubbly personality that makes her seem more like a child than a war machine. Though she still has her full armament and can be quite fearsome in a fight.

Basically she's my silly character for when I just want to unwind and combine children's show levels of silliness of her personality with the morbid reality of her being a combat droid. I don't have some overarching goal or vision she's just fun. Think of her as less a player character and more like a support NPC the GM throws at his party to help them while simultaneously giving them brain aneurysms. If you want to spice up your thread with some droid fun E-ka is for you.

It's harder to heal than it is to kill.
Waves her hand Hey there. I'm always happy to write with new people. And you have a lot of interesting characters there~ ^^ If any of my characters interest you, please do shoot me a message.

Amur
So I'm not doing many big things at the moment. I'm just really busy, but I've been open to doing small things as long as people are ok with me not responding super fast. And I think I have some possibilities to rp with you:

Poker Poker I have a droid within the sith empire, a commando droid. He's not necessarily highly intelligent, but he's well programmed and more creative than normal for a droid. This is due to a curiosity that emerged due to damage. It causes him special issues when on his own, and he actively seeks out others to guide him. Poker has a tendency to, as his name suggests, poke when he finds something curios. To see how it responds or moves. He's one of my less serious characters, but he's still pretty good combatively. I'm not sure what they'd do if they interacted, but they could. He is under a droid commander, but if it was sith business, he could probably be involved. So that might be an option with amur.

Salis Marai: This one. She's insane, fairly powerful, but very skilled. She's been good at murder since she was a child, and joined the Jen'ari Empire because it sounded fun (they were another sith empire on bad terms with the main sith empire). She was only a sith knight, but she'd done quite well in the battles she's been in so far. She was deeply seeped into the darkside, to the point she even had a clone body created she could move into due to the level of scarring her previous body was beginning to suffer from. Because she enjoyed violence to such an extent. Now however she's mostly on Bespin or near it. No longer retains her sith title, and actually has children. She doesn't get to go as many places as she did once, but when she gets the chance to explore something nearby she does. Salis still enjoys combat, and will happily get into a fight if necessary. She's technically fairly high ranking in her minor faction, head of the military, and wife of the faction owner, but she isn't completely fond of playing that position. If you just want a meeting, or fight, or training with her. That's fun, mostly any character. She's remarkably friendly for someone who derives so much pleasure from violence and sometimes does things that seem good, just for the entertainment of it. Note: She's growing better as a person, not that she wants to. But because as time passes her joy of fighting is slowly going down. It's still high enough for her to have great power, but she can see an end coming and is searching alternatives in the force.

Shavara Shavara : Shavara is more complicated to explain because I made her species, planet, and religion. So I'll try and shorten it: Take the nightsisters, add both lightside and darkside, turn their religion of spirits into a belief that a force sensitive organ they modified to be into their body is their soul and their planet has one, introduce kaminoan science times like 20. That's basically what they are. It's...complicated. Their religion treats light and dark as essentially "heart" and "thought." and both paths are completely accepted, but both sides are expected to learn specific ideas of the other. Shavara is the path of thought. She's kind, and less racist against other species (since most consider other species to be at best highly intelligent animals, who they only pretend to treat as somewhat equal). She's also at odds with the Eternal Empire, and has so far avoided knowledge from her planet (which is under them) or the empire itself. You could meet her for a different perspective on the force or culture, or for just a little exploration into side stuff. She doesn't have much in the way of a ship but getting her to territory nearby the Eternal Empire might be ok. She is a shapeshifter which she uses to her advantage plenty. Shavara is very powerful as a force sensitive, but not super trained. She is learning much from a holocron on alchemy though. Her force sensitive organ, called a Vo, is what allows her to shapeshift.

I do have some others if none of these seem interesting, including a force trained trandoshan bounty hunter/mercenary ( Rocho Rocho ), a pilot in the galactic alliance with a cybernetic arm who is one of my few non force sensitives ( Steve Holt Steve Holt ), an anzati inside a droid body who mostly acts as a smugler. Who could also prove as a good ally since she knows somewhat about the force though she lacks the ability to use it to it's fullest right now, and plenty about deception and the underworld ( Xerek Xerek ), a somewhat high ranking member of the Zweihander Union acting under Credius, another but older anzati, who's an excellent telepath and soldier who hid his species for a very long time to avoid jedi (Detro), a special forces member in the Zweihander union who is sort of the same species as Shavara, but more racist even though he's just as quiet about it, considerable training in combat, ( Kren Kren ). Kren isn't technically force sensitive, but like Shavara, possesses an organ that is. However his organ allows him enhanced physicals and telikinesis of a limited kind, which is about as powerful as an actual trained force sensitive because Kren has used it so much. It's a weird way to play with limitations of a character who can only use two VERY specific force powers and is otherwise just a very well trained combatant.

If you really want to see other

Amur

These are some interesting characters. I could perhaps give Amur some instruction and help her expand her power, or we could have them tag along together on some sort of mission if you would like. Ophidia is an assassin at heart as she leads a cabal of secret sith assassins, and she works very much within the realm of stealth and manipulation in genral, though perhaps with a bit of a specialised focus.

If there is anything you think we could teach Amur or any story-lines you think you would like pursue, I would love to take part in them.

Hey there, mate. Yeah, it's understandable to first want to develop your characters before heading out, I understand. You seem to have developed them pretty well. I think I might be interested. I've only got three characters right now. Although, I think the character that I would most likely want to use is Red, this character, and then my other Subject character. Let me know if you want to do something, I'll definitely be up for it.

The Murderhawke Mandalorian
I'd be down to do a thread! I've been sort of in the same boat with sticking to people I know and I'm looking to branch out as well, though I only have one character but he's pretty versatile when it comes to roleplaying!

“Learn to obey before you command”
Late to the party but I have a character who is a soldier of The Sith Empire named Hont Atellies, I think me and Hans Vitel could have a deep rp about service, loyalty and honour.

While for Amur I think that Alaria Telwith Alaria Telwith and her would get along quite well. She appreciates power just like your character and knows bucketloads about the Ancient Sith and both types of power you have described (She also experiments of live beings so there is that) But I think if your still open we could have some really good RP’s together!
