Anak felt a great sting in his leg, a bolt passed through it, and he felt its bite. It burned, him besrly falling on his knee. The Acolyte was accustom to suffering. He had lost his arm, damaged his rib, and now was he destined to limp? A sniper had undoubtly decided to wound him, hoping it would cause this Son of Darkness to need assistance. Instead, Anak behaved as if nothing happened. It was nothing compared to tortures he had endured.

The Sith Apprentice simply began to laugh uncontrollably, a maniacal symphony rose from his mouth that echoed across the Outpost.

He channeled the pain into rage, rocks and debris began to float around him. Creating a barrier of metal and rock behind Lucia Naberrie Lucia Naberrie and himself, eliminating The Sniper’s ability to scope them.

Fire and maneuver.

While the cloud of multispectral smoke blocked her optics, UX-0626 still had a rough awareness of her target’s location. Immediately after firing, the strand-cast sprinted around the radius of the smoke until she was directly adjacent to it relative to her previous position in front of the cloud, priming her repulsor projector as she did. Then, grounding to a halt, she leveled her right gauntlet towards the cloud, intending to blow the smoke away via a shockwave akin to a technological Force Push.

However, it was only then that a missile made her reconsider.

The warhead exploded out from the cloud before striking her previous position from mere moments before. Fortunately, having quickly repositioned after firing, UX-0626 was safely out of the blast radius. However, upon registering the missile’s inaccuracy, a fresh realization dawned on her.

The Mandalorian was chasing a ghost.

Activating her mimetic stealth system, UX-0626’s armored form shimmered into invisibility. A few moments later, the Mandalorian emerged from the cloud, firing a blaster towards what could only be a ghost. Now behind and to the right of her quarry, the strand-cast dropped just enough of her cloak to allow her to perceive the reticule of her rifle’s scope, before taking aim at the Mandalorian’s backplate—her jetpack. She squeezed the trigger as soon as the Mandalorian was within her crosshairs, casting forth a fusion plasma energy torpedo from 16 meters away, swiftly followed by another torpedo fired only a split-second after the first.

"DIMA!" A voice rang out. The sithling known as @Annak quick to bark at the Prime as she brushed remants of dust and rubble from her shoulder after having barreled through the solid structures previously.

Those many alien eyes all twisted and adjusted to regain perfect focus as all five of those Azure optics dilated in on him. Tilting her head slightly in amusement as she recognized the boy from Juttrand. He had previously gifted her one of his very own holocrons that day as tribute to her vainglorious design. The emotion in his voice enough to make the Xeno Queens heart flutter as she gasped warmly and lifted a hand almost bashfully while curling her clawed fingers in her snowy silver hair.

"Mmmnf, careful little god. If you keep screaming Dimas name like that people might think you love this one~" She cooed teasingly with a wicked grin and a flick of her tail as it stretched outright.

One of those other eyes however shifted to the side with the arrival of Lucia Naberrie Lucia Naberrie whom she had not forgotten about. That tail lingering close to the piles of stone and slabs of rock left over from the crumbling of their walls as the woman shrieked at Dima as well.

"You won't get away that easily!" Lucia spat, before preparing her next offensive.

Dima's two eyes shifted their focus from Anak, bringing their attention to that electrified net as Dimas tail quickly coiled and wrapped around one of those massive stones just as it sprang out towards Dima.

"Who said anything about getting away!?" She barked back as Dima heavily yanked her hips to the side in time with her tail hoisting up that stone and completely bombing it towards the large, open net with incredible force.

The stone plunged into the center of the net as if a basketball hitting nothing but net, ensnaring and snagging the electrified net and sending it off to the side smashing into a wall as Domina focused two eyes on Lucia, and the other two on Anak.

"Simple. Slow. Senile. Are these the finest godborn you people could spare?" She chittered lowly two the both of them. Tilting her head and inhaling deeply while gesturing with both of her hands at each of them to come closer. "Domina is...disappointed~" She complained, wondering when a true battle was going to kick off instead of there halfhearted attempts to bring her down. "If this is the best you have...your all going to be having a loooooong day. Now come on! Excite Dima! This one did not come here to be bored! Have you no blades? No Claws? No teeth? Are you gods or fucking thugs Dima is having a hard time telling right now~" She snarled while swinging her Beskad in a flashy brandish while twirling the bade in her claws.

So who was gonna be first to step? Domina was waiting to meet blades with a worthy opponent and from her perspective there were a lot of nervous, timid gods wandering the battlefield.

She was truly unimpressed thus far. Manda she prayed someone brought her delight in this battle, otherwise her arrival would have been a terrible waste of her time.

Celt's backpack shield generator flared to life to barely block the first round from UX-0626 UX-0626 and the second round struck home causing one of the cells on her back mounted jetpack to burst in a shower of sparks, rendering it inoperable, she mihht be able to take off and fly briefly by overcharging the other cell, but it wouldnt last long.

The warrior spun on her heels and threw a grenade at the origin point of the projectiles. She then advanced, this time using her shoulder cannon manually to adjust it to the targeting information her HUD was giving her. With her other arm she tried to predict the escape vector of the target and opened up with a burst from her wrist mounted acid launcher to try and catch them that way. The rest of the mission elsewhere was ongoing and she did not have a desire to be pinned down in by a landing contact, she would have artillery level the area if necessary, and she had already had three stand off missiles launched to do such a thing. They would take a short time to arrive, and Celt had the deactivation codes if they should not be needed, but should she die here, her assailant would sound follow her to meet the Manda.

Anak watched as The Xeno Queen turned and began her responses to them. Her quip about him screaming her name made him smirk. He did like Dima, and hated that factions had divided them in a petty game. When The Xeno Queen began to motion to take down Lucia Naberrie Lucia Naberrie , the Son of Darkness snapped his blade once more to life, and charged to confront Dima. His aim would be to turn himself into a living Buckler, he flurried his red blade in front of Dima.

“My friend, we are being played by the powers that be. Accurse this factionalism! Our true enemy should be the Jedi, who Mandos loath as much as us Sith!”

He tried to appeal to Domina, using his words like saber he waved before The Blue Beauty. Anak was risking much, his comrade Lucia likely waa not pleased at his attempt at diplomacy, was that even Sith? Maybe he should have joined The Imperial Forum instead of these front lines. The truth is a true warrior while finding ecstasy in combat, dreads to brandish their blade knowing that someone always perishes when it hums alive. Not that Anak felt he could kill Domina, she was of a nature he did not fully understand, a saber may have no effect but to be a fancy glow stick of amusement. The Acolyte was fighting to save everyone, and that was a fool’s errand, and definately not becoming of a Sith Hopeful.

The reputation of the Mandalorians as tough, resilient, and aggressive warriors preceded them and was one that UX-0626 herself could verify through personal experience. While she had not played a direct role in the cleansing of Moridinae, the strand-cast had raided Kestri during a prior mission and had even fought against the Mandalorian Union on Velmor. Accordingly, given her experience with fighting Mandalorians, upon seeing the armored warrior’s quick recovery the strand-cast assessed that this particular individual was no exception to the rule, and was perhaps even an exemplary example of her kind.

Suddenly, as the Mandalorian spun around and throw a grenade in her direction, UX-0626’s right gauntlet shot out in an uncannily swift reflex before discharging a repulsive shockwave that was intended to send the grenade back to its source—less than a meter in front of the now-advancing Mandalorian. Should it land there, the strand-cast hoped that it might force her opponent to break off and take evasive, defensive action rather than attempting to press the attack any further.

If not, UX-0626 would not hesitate to meet fire with fire.

The grenade stopped mid are and sailed back in her direction, celt dived sideways for cover with a short blast on her working jet and activated her buckler, even still, she felt the blast rock the ground and bits of debris rained down on her as she rolled to pit herself into cover. "You're good!" she shouted loudly using her voice modulator, taking a few seconds to catch her breath and pull up the telemetry of the incoming missiles on her HUD, not long now though. She remained in cover, checking the density of the material to her back was not going to betray her. She laughed at the number of times she had seen people hide behind the thin alusteel doors of speeders and hope it would protect them from a shot that passed clean though.

<This is Celt, I'm pinned down facing an elite combatant, planning to hit the landing zone shortly, check your HUDs and make sure you aren't at ground zero when they come I'm.> she said though her comm in mandalorian while she pondered her next move. Her proximity trackers were set to full to warn her of any approaching contact and she spent a few moments checking stock of her ammo and any damage get kit may have taken.

UX-0626 braced herself as the shockwave from the grenade’s blast propagated through the air. By the time it reached her most of the energy was diffused to the point that it was of negligible danger to an armored soldier, but without the benefit of cover she was forced to steady herself regardless. All the while, the crimson and gray-clad Mandalorian had thrown herself behind cover, at which point the strand-cast heard her voice sound out over the din of violence transpiring within the outpost.

"You're good!"

If anything, the Mandalorian’s compliment was slightly confusing to the Hapan strand-cast. Why would an enemy see her as a good person? After all, 626 was trying to kill her. From the perspective of the Mandalorian, that should have been a bad thing, right?

Shaking her head, 626 set her focus back to the battle. Unfortunately, the brief distraction had cost her a few seconds, allowing the Mandalorian to warn her allies of the incoming missile barrage, which the strand-cast did not hear. Nevertheless, the short-statured Sith trooper grunted and kicked into a dead sprint towards the piece of cover that her target was hiding behind. Then, she leaped high up into the air with a sudden acceleration—her body not only propelled upward through the engineered strength of her legs, but also by her armor’s integrated repulsors. In doing so, she maintained her forward momentum, carrying her form towards, then over the piece of cover that the Mandalorian was hiding behind.

That was when she struck.

By the time the beskar’gam-clad form of her target came into view, UX-0626 had her energy rifle leveled towards her from an aerial position. The strand-cast fired as soon as she was in sight, unleashing a single energy torpedo bolt aimed to strike the Mandalorian in her upper chest from 11 meters away.

Behind the shot (and the offensive maneuver leading up to it) was the cold, lethal intent of an elite Sith trooper who sought nothing more than the unconditional defeat of her Father’s enemies.
