SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Extremely rugged construction means the pistol will break you before you break it. Seriously. It's completely analog and in places is almost a centimeter thick of pure metal.
  • 12.7mm x 38mm round offers extreme stopping power in its caliber. Its standard ball round is extremely effective at both armored and unarmored targets and going through unreinforced walls. Also due to the sheer amount of kinetic energy behind each round, most normal pieces of armor and materials (Plasteel, Plastoid, light ceramics) designed to specialize against blasters would be at a severe disadvantage.
  • One of the sub-munitions of this weapon is Armor Piercing Ball, which offers a Phrik-B jacketed round with a Tungsten core. This round has more mass than a standard round offering much better long range performance (compared to standard rounds) along with doing more damage to unarmored targets and non-reinforced cover due to its ability to fully transfer all of the kinetic energy in the round to the target. This essentially causes people on the receiving end to feel like they've been hit with a sledgehammer being wielded by a psychotic gorilla on space cocaine.
  • Secondary sub-munition of the weapon is Armor Piercing Discarding Sabot. This round is a Phrik-B dart with a Tungsten core encased in a plastoid sabot that has much higher velocity than both Ball or Armor Piercing Ball to give it much better armor penetration at the cost of terminal ballistic performance and a shorter range than both munitions. And while you won't feel this round near as much either because of its effects on target being much less effective due to its inability to transfer near as much kinetic energy to the target on impact. This means that while it's great at poking holes, the internal damage or even the shock of "Oh Space Jesus what just hit me," is going to be much less than the Ball or Armor Piercing Ball rounds.
  • Tertiary sub-munition of the weapon is Training/Non-Lethal rounds. This round is made of wax, and is weighted to ensure that it has similar ballistic properties of the Ball and Armor Piercing Ball ammunition. However unlike these rounds when this impacts a target, the wax will just splat against the target, which will sting like none-other but otherwise cause no damage. That being said do not aim for people's eyes or other soft/sensitive tissues because it will cause bruising and can do some damage to these tissues.
  • Is able to be converted into a carbine with a front grip and butt stock. This allows this weapon to be used by more common people than just most meat heads with massive grip strengths and arms the size of most normal people's legs. One of the added bonuses however of using the carbine version is that a second magazine can be placed in the front grip to allow for a speedier reload since, you know, the other magazine is right there.

STRENGTHS
  • Rifle punch in a pistol caliber: This weapon hits like a sledgehammer at close ranges and even medium ranges and for most people is a more than effective as a PDW carbine or pistol to handle anything and everything that could possibly become a problem.
  • Extreme Durability: This weapon is totally analog which means that it doesn't matter where it is, or what kind of environment it is in. It will not only function, it will fire. And trust me, it will break you before you break it.

WEAKNESSES
  • This pistol is heavy: So the only reason this pistol is even able to be used like a pistol is because of the weight of this weapon, which is quite considerable. You are going to have to have a lot of muscle mass to be able to use it like a pistol, which is why there is a front grip and butt stock attachments that allow for someone not as physically strong to use it like a rifle.
  • This thing kicks like a mule: So earlier it was mentioned that this pistol was made to be super heavy comparatively to be able to be used as a pistol. The reasoning behind that is because of the recoil behind this pistol. You want to know the real reason behind having a butt stock on the pistol? So you don't hit yourself in the face when you fire this thing. This thing isn't a dainty flower. Either handle it or be handled.

DESCRIPTION
One of the latest designs to come through within the halls of The Dire Wolves Mercenary Company's research and development, the L-7 is a extremely durable line of pistols that come in with TDW looking for a new line of service pistols that can survive any environment like the rifle series that just recently was developed. And these weapons deliver on everything that the mercenary company was looking for. These weapons are much larger than your average pistol, making handling them in any kind of armor a breeze. The rounds are absolutely insane when it comes to a pistol, necessitating the weight of the pistol, but the tradeoff is worth having a hand cannon that will literally punch holes in anything that isn't highly reinforced armor plating. And even if it doesn't punch through the armor, the person on the other side will definitely feel the amount of energy coming in per round as these rounds are very, very powerful. This weapon is so over engineered that Dr. Alphonse had to incorporate a front grip attachment and butt stock just to make this weapon able to be used by most people. And the front grip is large enough that inside it you can place a spare mag. But if your either really strong or really brave, you can hold this weapon like it was originally intended, in one hand, using pure strength to force the recoil to behave. But be warned, the L-7 doesn't hold back, and if you treat her like she's anything but a weapon of pure destruction, she'll knock out your teeth. Literally.

Matthew Locke Matthew Locke So I tried to fix the issue with the link but the guy who owned the page took it down for some reason so I had to find the picture on Pinterest. Also apparently the old sub's picture with the pistol is the last remaining version of that picture on the internet as Google only found that picture, on the site.
