I'm not entirely sure how mercs or allies can be bought by The Confederacy for the invasion... when we'll be taken by surprise. <flicks a stray strand of hair away> But it is what it is.
So you will be taking down the Confederacy with saturated fats?Ayden Cater said:[member="Logan Valde"]
Pudding is -always- a plan, sir. And don't you forget it.
Oh, do you? <spins around in the imaginary spinny chair>Ayden Cater said:[member="Anesia Jy'Vun"]
Don't worry, Anesia. I've got a plan.
I thought of that... but in my mind, there would have had to be threads prior to the invasion for it to stick. That's just me and how I roll for story line and all. No big thing. I'm not the least bit worried; the beast will be sated any which way the chips fall.Siobhan Kerrigan said:[member="Anesia Jy'Vun"]
While it's a surprise attack it's not a stretch to presume that IC tensions between both nations have been increasing recently (what with the former Archon defecting to the Protectorate) and that although Druckenwell being a target and the exact timing of the attack is a surprise, the CIS might have started preparing, sounded out aid and such. After all both empires have never exactly been friends. Ergo them clashing for dominance would not be that astounding.
And, in any case, there's always handwavium. It's an rp board after all! Sio...didn't have the biggest IC reason to coincidentally be on Atrisia when Fringe invaded, yet she was.
