Out of the shadows of Malachor comes a new force unlike both Jedi and Sith have bore witness to before.

All of this is achieved from the shadowy depths of the Malachor system. There this group of warlords and fanatics that despise both Force sects gather to consume the Ashes of Malachor and be led by a man with vision. That man is known as the Crimson Archon, and through his wisdom of war and hatred for both Jedi and Sith he intends to spark a fire in the common man to rise up against those that have used them. The Legion achieves this freedom of thinking through persecution and conquest alone.
The Ranks:
The Crimson Archon: The mysterious "Man of Vision" for the Legion and simply known as the Archon to most. He is a mysterious warrior with a deep vendetta to both the Jedi and Sith, and some say even the Force itself. He is also the Supreme Ren to the Knights of Ren having been found worthy to lead them. Finding clarity from consuming the Ashes of Malachor, he instructs all members of the Legion to inhale the dust. A charismatic leader he is often seen leading from the front lines given the occasion. It is him in which the Legion begins where he goes revolutions' will follow.
The Knights of Ren: The Knights of Ren by 900 ABY have been a terror for many years. Passing hands from Kyrel Ren onto Garrick Skorr after being found to be broken savage animals. The Knights of Ren are given new purpose as the elite warriors that form the face for the Legion. Through the unique views they hold on the dark side make them differ from Jedi and Sith, and are more dangerous than the average dark sider. They are the living embodiment of individual power. This belief is the catalyst for all of the Legion and gives rise to a storm that once unleashed cannot be undone.
Masters of the Dark: The Masters of the Dark are the most experienced Force Wielders in the Legion. Be it if they walked Jedi or Sith it does not matter. The Masters of the Dark are those who have stared at the Shadow and found it staring back at them. Often distinct by elegant red and black robes, they make up the spine of the Legion. Overseeing the training of the Dark Acolytes, advising the Knights of Ren, or taking care of the political dealings of the Legion on the Red Council as the Archon's Legates.
The Dark Acolytes: The Dark Acolytes are the foot soldiers of the Legion. Often accompanied by Legionaries, Masters of the Dark, or Knights of Ren. These figures are known for the dark armor they wear, and the signature red visor of their helms. They make up of indoctrinated Force Users that have been shown the way of the Shadow. Trained and instilled with the beliefs that both Jedi and Sith must be purged, and hellbent on enforcing a new order to bring peace and unity to the Galaxy.
Legionaries: The Legionaries are considered to be the bulk of the forces along with the Dark Acolytes. Firm believers in the Shadow they are often made up of conscripts made up of Force User or Non Force User alike. Any Jedi or Sith that converts to the Legion often start here, albeit they are granted opportunities to climb the ranks proven through merit and loyalty to the Archon. They are sent forth to go and conquer for the Legion.
From the ashes of Malachor, the Legion is determined to bring about a new age of peace in the galaxy through bringing out the dark side in all. Even if it means assimilating others into the Legion and setting forth to conquer all who oppose them, or stand by with the heretics they view as Jedi and Sith. Will you join the ranks bring glory to the Legion and the Archon?
OOC: Greetings Chaos! Everyone's favorite bad guy here to bring about a new idea. In hopes of giving an edge to being bad guys again I have thought of something different than the classic Jedi and Sith struggle but a struggle of the citizens of the galaxy against both. Throughout Chaos history the Jedi and Sith have caused untold destruction upon the galaxy. I want to see all of the deeds caused by those wars to come back and bite both Force Wielding groups in the butt. Here comes in the Legion of the Crimson Star, or simply known as The Legion. The inspiration and influence for this group comes from factions such as the Equalists from Legend of Korra and primarily Caesar's Legion from Fallout New Vegas. Using the influences and ideas from such factions to create a unique group. I do hope that gives all those interested in the idea i'm going for such as a massive galaxy wide revolt against Jedi and Sith through emboldening the common masses and using the Force as a weapon against them.
