- Dedicated Shots: Designed for long range attacks and to give an average Atrisian soldier an alternative for long range. The shots are powerful and able to be used against fighters and speeders.
- Assembly: Able to be broken into three sections, the primary bow and the two hazu arms. It makes it require a skilled hand to assemble quickly with deft fingers. The mark of a master user.
- Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
- High Quality: Designed with the jeweled metal of Atrisia and able to withstand blows from a lightsaber as well as slice through materials from across the galaxy.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
- Assembly: The lightbows are designed for stationary fire and are much much larger then the wielders generally assembled in the field reducing how quickly they can be used.
- Rate of Fire: Designed with a single powerful shot in mind the lightbows can easily miss as the shots don't track and have a heavy charge time.
Designed based off of the lightbows fashioned by the guardian of the whills upon the completion of the seventh duan. The Atrisians adopted it learning about the skill and meditation that went into it. Introducing it as an alternative to their standard blaster rifle with an increased power output and range that few could match. The reslts were two-fold with military units specializing in it that would be able to assemble quickly and use it on the battlefield. The other thing was a sort of meditative archery developing in the schools and academies across the planet.
A way for reaching a state of mental clarity for making longer and longer shots. With clubs and organization popping up to teach the newest skill it gained a level of popularity among the people who joined the military before the introduction of the academies and military service being largely mandatory. The lightbow was a welcomed addition to the Atrisian armory for its battlefield use and rapid embracing by the population within the Jishi era joining the katana and crescent blades.
An important part of the armory the lightbows were set upon for improvements... largely in the internal power source, materials and capabilities. The new power source makes the shots more focused but they are still slow to fire and need to charge up.. the materials make the bow more able to defend or be used as a blunt weapon in case. The utility of it being used by the Atrisian commonwealth has given Sasori the ability to sell it as they offer most of the upgrades going into it.
