Awake.

Kurineth did not know where she was or how she came to be, only that she was the swirling shadowed torpor of a formless void - a void that was not a void, as she reached out, grasping at the essence within. The void was with form - she grasped at it and brought it to herself, finding that the full emptiness satisfied a strange sensation she had never known before.

A sensation of hunger that grew stronger now that she had experienced her first taste.

How long she spent within that void, grasping at the fluidic space around her and imbibing it as she traversed the path from cosmic tapeworm to awareness and sentience, she did not know - only that one day, Kurineth had taken all she could. It was as though there was a firmament, a boundary keeping her locked within this pocket of true nothingness but her. She tried to break through and only managed to arouse cries of pain from the very fabric of the universe itself before channeling the power within, and with a swift stroke of sharpened nails, entering into another, much darker world.

There to greet her was an entity that she felt a vague connection with - one that praised her under many names in languages she did and did not understand. She looked back at what she had been freed from and witnessed the broken shell of her host. Yes - the entity told her that she had been placed within the one whose universe she had devoured so she might yet become strong before she traveled into the next.

She looked back and watched as the wounds, the tears of the host - the mother, the word resonated in her mind - were repaired, scarred essence congealing to restore its integrity. Even now she felt a tie to this one she could not yet explain.

The entity that greeted Kurineth continued to harp praise upon her for what felt like infinity as it taught her of a war in heaven, of her purpose as a harbinger of corruption and defilement of reality. Under her touch, life would flourish in eternal chaos and death would serve as the eternal feast through which all - including Kurineth - would have their desires satiated. Magicks most profane were educated to her, rites of sacrifice, of power, of corruption. Bacathe, as she was called, trained her in the ways of how to whisper to the hearts of mortals, to guide them down paths of servitude and destruction of innocence. Worlds as yet unknown were thrown into disarray, even as Kurineth felt her strength grow through the bond shared with her mother - Sasmay Cull.

All was planned, all was prepared until others intruded upon their dark domain. The Infiltrator sought to keep her free of the battle as she and Sasmay met the intruders, but soon, both were vanquished through the use of a weapon unlike any she had seen before - a crystalline dagger whose potency seemed to sever the link between those who had instructed her and the power at their behest. It was enough that they were able to be slain, and Kurineth immediately felt the power of the one who had done so - it was something she felt deeply should be her own.

Like the carrion worms upon a fallen carcass, Kurineth feasted upon the fallen ones, upon Sasmay and Bacathe until nothing was left of them. Their power, their knowledge - all that they were had been consumed by here. A sense came to her mind of the others within this pocket, others who would view her now as a threat that could disturb the balance of their own debaucheries and perversions slaked within this hell-realm. As the rift allowing transit between the two universes tightened, forced close by new wards of binding, Kurineth’s fingers slid between its edges, forcing them open and allowing herself an escape. A sense of something within her said that the one who had slain her parentage was one who could give her what she needed - or the chance to form her own path, as another conflicting sense formed.

So it was that her pursuit of Onrai and the tale of Kurineth Cull began. The Parasite Maiden. The Worm that Walks. The Telestial Daughter. Princess of Corruption and Archoness of Unreality. Whether she were to live up to those names was a question in and of itself, or perhaps fate had a kinder role to play.

Perhaps she would listen to the other voice within her.

Credit to Onrai for the history write up.

TRAITS:
Created from a fallen dark side Entity, and the corrupted being of Sasmay Cull, Kurineth Cull is a strange amalgamation of abilities.

Limited teleportation in the form of physical tears in the world. Anyone nearby can move through the rift from either side, and these rifts can only be created to places that she has been present in. A picture does not work, nor does a description.

Inhuman strength is chief among her list of abilities. Having taken many of her traits from Sasmay as a parasitic entity, most everything that her "mother" was capable of has since transferred to the younger being. Yet untested or trained with this however, her ability to control it properly is still highly problematic and could be as much a bane as a boon.

Speed is another of her strengths both with and without the force, as she is intrinsically tied to the dark side of the force. While not a conduit of the dark side, it flows freely through the young being and grants her passive boons. This comes with the side effect of force mitigation being a large annoyance for her, removing her enhanced senses, halving her speed, and taking the safety off of her strength.

The lightside is a bane for her presence. Merely being in the presence of someone that is largely light side creates a buzzing sensation in her head, and drives her to annoyance. Someone channeling the lightside ability however is a larger threat, as she will be harmed to a degree by this channeling. From charred skin, to temporary loss of force access and potentially worse, the aforementioned ability is something that would make her angry and seek out the being creating this conduit.

BIOGRAPHY:
The creation of two fallen entities, her parasitic form reverted to one of a larval state when she became too large to continue existing inside of her host parent. From there, she grew enough to create a form that would allow her to freely travel the galaxy while making learning and blending in all the easier.

Learning from Onrai and whomever else the woman trusted with her education, she eventually was allowed some free reign in her own decisions when it was decided she might not try to bring about the end of whichever planet she tread on a whim.
