TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: "Light" Armor
  • Weight: Very Heavy
  • Resistances:
    • Energy: Very High
    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Extreme
    • Elemental: High
    • EMP/Ion: Average
    • Sonic: Low
    • Disruptor: Low
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Created with Sith Alchemy, the pieces of this armor set are highly resistant to lightsabers and better allow one to maintain a dark side force connection, in spite of Light side attacks and disruptions.
  • Long cuffed gloves fashioned after Command Gloves with an integrated heating system aid in wielding Kurineths preferred weapon, and includes the adjustable temperature control system inside the cuff for less risk of damage.
STRENGTHS
  • Dark Connection - The Sith Alchemy used to produce this was focused not only to strengthen the materials of the armor, but also to strengthen the wearer's connection to the dark side of the force, even in the face of an assault by Force Light attacks.
  • Lightsabers - Similar to a Sith Blade, the armor pieces are astoundingly resilient to the favored weapons of Jedi and Sith alike.
  • Energy - While not polished or able to reflect a Blaster bolt, the armor pieces are excellent at dissipating and resisting the energy of this attack across its strange molecular structure without threatening to overheat.
  • Kinetic - The blended variety of materials have made the pieces surprisingly resilient to all forms of Kinetic attack, and even able to mitigate a large amount of the transferred energy behind it.
  • Elemental - While the majority of this resistance is thanks to Molytex, the gloves are the opposite and are quite capable of handling the cold.
WEAKNESSES
  • Dark Tidings - Sith Alchemy gives these armor pieces a radiating dark side aura, roughly 5-6 meters in diameter around the wearer, making detection readily possible in close proximity.
  • Disruptors - Sith Alchemy and the strange blending of materials granted the pieces with a modicum of protection from this form of attack. The pieces however are scattered, and are a laughable protection against such weaponry.
  • Spotty Service - Even with the light amount of armor present the weight of the armor is similar to a full heavy loadout. With the sparce plating comes another downfall in the way of large gaps in protection between the pieces, potentially rendering the protections available worthless.
  • Freight Train - The process of Sith Alchemy grants great protections at the cost of weight. Once momentum is gained, it is difficult to alter course. From a simple punch to making a sudden turn, without outside forces, the wearer is more than likely dedicated to the movement.
  • Force Null - Even being crafted with Sith Alchemy, the dark side connection cannot be maintained when in the presence of Force Repelling entities such as Ysalamir or similar.
DESCRIPTION
With her attempt at replicating the Soulsaber completed, and the next project waiting, Kurineth began to work once more after a short rest. Using the Dark Side Nexus once more to supplement her lack of skill with brute force of power for the work.

Crudely shaped armor began to take shape with traces of the remaining steel imbued into the other materials, the heavy sections of plating made it clear she would need to select her pieces wisely. Seeking to remain connected to the source of her power, her concentration focused on creating a tether to the Dark Side of the Force itself. Reminding herself how she had felt during the prison break on Coruscant, a small streak of fear helped to guide her hand in focus of forging that tether into the pieces. Building upon a pair of Magnetic Boots, shin guards were constructed atop the metatarsal all the way up to the knee to safeguard from low aimed strikes.

Next she worked backwards from the hands up to the shoulders rather than shoulders down.

Having secured a pair of insulated command gloves to combat the icy chill of her weapons handle. She began to blend Molytex and other metals to reinforce the long cuffed gloves in the form of small, overlapping plates hidden beneath the outermost layer of the insulated gloves. While not as comprehensive as a gauntlet of articulated metal, it allowed for better fine motor skills as a tradeoff. A protective forearm guard ending at the elbow, identical to the design of her shin guards, formed as she answered her own question about how best to shield her presented arm in combat. Able to be placed on either the left or right arm, she moved upwards once more.

The pauldron she guessed would most often be presented to a foe was made to have three protruding spikes At varying angles. Made just in case the desire to shoulder check someone overtook her better senses. The other pauldron remained a simpler design, while both gave sufficient coverage to her shoulders.

While not nearly as intensive as the Souls Reflection, her continued efforts began to wear on her, and forced her to rest once more before beginning her final project with more confidence.
