- Unorthodox: Though Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is undoubtedly Mandalorian Armor, it has been heavily modified by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, which may upset some Mandalorian purists
- Mandalorian pride: Though capable of being constructed in fairly large numbers, Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is only ever worn by Mandalorian personnel, to avoid offending any Mandalorians that seek to join the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant
- Equipped: Using Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam effectively can be quite difficult, due to the wide range of features that the armor comes equipped with
- Visible: Being stealthy in Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is tremendously difficult, as the armor is rather brightly colored and unusually patterned, making it stand out
- All rounder: Though highly protective against most threats, Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is unable to compete with more specialized armors defensively
With the defeat of the Iron Covenant at the hands of the Sith, many Mandalorian warriors scattered to the wind as they attempted to escape the wrath of vengeful Sith forces. Though some found their way to the High Republic or the Unknown Regions, many sought refuge in the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, as the Imperial aligned faction had nominally aided the Covenant in its war against Sith forces. With such a large influx of new warriors, including talented blacksmith Gel Karn, the Imperial Remnant decided to try a decidedly Mahporeenian take on creating a new set of armor for these brave warriors: Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam.
Available only to Mandalorian warriors, Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is designed to be just as functional and protective as any set of Iron Covenant created armor, though the armor is not necessarily as protective as more specialized forms of Mandalorian Armor. Nonetheless, Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is designed to be highly protective against most forms of damage, and gives its users excellent protection from most attacks.
Kintsugi-class Beskar'gam is also equipped with a variety of different weapons and equipment, much like standard Mandalorian Armor is, giving its user an excellent amount of firepower and versatility, allowing them to deal with most kind of threats that they might face on the battlefield. Unfortunately, this also means that the armor can be difficult to use and overwhelming for anyone unaccustomed to utilizing such a powerful set of battlefield armor.
Particularly important about the armor is its use of Kintsugi in its construction, a sort of poetic tribute to the brave men and women of the Iron Covenant. Though they have been beaten, battered, and bruised, the Imperial Remnant firmly believes that it is still possible for them to pick up the pieces of their shattered faction and repair it to its former glory, much like with what has been done with the armor. Until that day comes, the armor continues to serve as a testament to the resilience of the Mandalorian people and a testament to their ability to keep going on no matter what hardships they might face.
