APPEARANCE: Jacen somewhat handsome with a small chin beard and short brown hair. He isn't particularly tall standing at 1.8 meters tall. His eyes are brown. He has small sideburns just under his cheekbones.
BIOGRAPHY: Jacen Rann was born on Corellia in Coronet City. His parents were Wedge Rann and Miri Rann. Wedge served as a pilot in the Coreliian Defense Force and Miri worked as a supply manager for Corellian Engineering Corporation. From early on Jacen developed an interest in ships and flying and to the dislike of his father tinkering with droids and engines. As a child and later a teenager Jacen had a knack for getting into trouble. At age nine he joined the CorSec Academy in Coronet City. He graduated at 18 as a pilot.
For a year and a half he served with distinction hunting down pirates and smugglers. However trouble once again found him. While on a mission he found some spice and took it for himself hoping to make a small profit. When he returned to Corellia it was found and he was arrested. He managed to escape his captors and escape on an airspeeder. Jacen headed the spaceport in Coronet City and stole an old YT-2400. The escape was successful. however Jacen could no longer return to Corellia.
In order to make a living he headed to the Outer Rim and started to work as trader and as a smuggler. He used his new ship now called The Traveler and took the name "The Runner". He went on to make his living off smuggling spice, chak-root and weapons in the Outer Rim and Mid Rim. He also worked in legitimate trading of droids and scrap and sometimes worked as a treasure hunter or for the Hutts. He became quite wealthy and has made a name for himself in the Outer Rim.
