- Excellent All-Rounder: The Minor version of the Stormhawk is an excellent all-rounder ship capable of being outfitted for and taken on a wide variety of missions from patrol and anti-piracy duties to small scale planetary invasions. It has good armament, good shielding, decent space and aerodynamics, and can even support up to two squadrons of support craft or starfighters and a personal ship for the commander.
- Extensive Automation: A concession to the reduced state of Imperial forces at the time of its design and construction, the Stormhawk is heavily automated, reducing its crew requirements substantially and allowing for more ground troops and equipment to be stored in its place.
- Below Average Hangar Space: Like the Base Storm Hawk, even with the improved hangar capacity allowing for two squadrons, the ship still lacks a full additional squadron of fighters, as while the automation has been miniaturized and improved from the base model, it is still bulky enough to preclude their inclusion at this production level.
- More Expensive: Thanks to the improvements allowing for another full squadron of fighters due to more efficient automation space allocation, the cost of the ship has grown along with its quality, moving its production up to Minor and thus being less affordable for the galactic citizen.
An improvement over the base Storm Hawk Frigate, offering it a larger starfighter complement at the cost of being more expensive and of a higher production value. In terms of ground support, it can still carry up to a full regiment of Imperial ground forces and their assorted equipment.
