Should we rename our local Headmasters to Housemasters to cut down on confusion of people mistakening Headmaster of Cato for the Headmaster of the entire Academy?

So like, Avalore would be Housemaster of Cato

?

Should that role also be included in this work up? What a Housemaster is and does, and then how to become one?

That's a great idea! It'll certainly cut down on any confusion, and it's a good way to differentiate between the two.

Okay, so now that we have that settled. What do we have going on so far? What else do we need?

• Bio for Eyal M'ti to be posted in the Archives
• Perhaps a description of Rhen Var? [member="Talon Vosra"]
• House Names for each academy? Will there be overlap or are they all focused on a specific thing? I know Sabene has theirs.
• Talismans and the Journey man quest and the mastership amulet for those who desire to master at a specific House.
• Recruitment -- invite only through IC or do we want to post up a public recruitment page?
• Faction information page to post up on the Faction Forum.
• Those who would like to be professors please post up in the codex and talk to the specific Housemaster if PC or NPC about any key issues.
• ???

I was thinking we should have a guest forum that explains our process, that everything is IC and so on. That way if people come looking there's something for them to look at that dissipates any aura of 'exclusivity'... because that isn't the point here, ne?

That is to say - we'd have whatever constitutes relevant material from our FAQ reposted in the guest forum. Joining, Promotions, so on and so forth.

That's a very good question. I know you've had something for that in progress or done already, so that doesn't necessarily have to change... in reality, it's your thing. You head that, so the decisions are largely yours.

Could always set up a Temple on Umbara for the Shadows.

I mean, that's either really cool or really cliche. XD I'm for the former.

Well if no one has any objections, we can use the Gnost-Dural for the purpose. It is a Shadow-type Antarian-Class Frigate designed for the sole purpose of providing a home for the Jedi Shadows that was both mobile and secure.

Although I do love the Umbara idea!
