DESCRIPTION
In another effort to diversify their product line the Hekler'Kok design team began working on a tool that could be marketed towards a both a civilian and military market. In this spirit the decided to make a survival tool that could double as as many tools as possible. As always the started out with choosing the materials, choosing Quadanium Steel for the blade and shaft for its ability to keep an edge and durability and Plastoid for its handle due to its durability as well.

With this first step done they began the process of packing in as many tools as possible. The first obviously tools was a shovel, used for of course digging. They also added the functionality of the shovel blade pivoting 90° it can also double as a pickaxe. A telescoping shaft and even further pivoting of the blade allows it to be stored in a Plastoid carrier for easier storage and transport. A sharpened edge also allows it to be used a hatchet while a sawback edge allows its use as a saw. Finally a lanyard loop was added at the bottom of the grip to make it less likely that the user would drop it.
