Deafening explosions rock the Reef Fortress as its assailants pour in, killing guards and taking hostages. The rogue Se'n Dorrin cell has but one monumental demand -- the overthrow of the matriarchal Hapes Consortium and its ruler,
Kha'la Daaray
. They say their cause is just; the liberation of all men. Their means may not be.
Within hours, other Se'n Dorrin cells emerge, briefly crippling the Hapan economy and trade routes, opening a dozen wounds across the Cluster. The centre of their attention are the Relephon Moons, a key logistical and arms manufacturing hub, with various industries and population hubs spread across the gas giant's dozen moons. Taking Relephon will springboard the rebels into the Rifle Worlds, arming them enough to be a significant threat to the Consortium.
As the fog begins to clear, the Alliance is forced to step in.
Hello gamers. This one's gonna be a double whammy -- one thread taking on terrorists at the Reef Fortress on Hapes, and another suppressing the violence on Relephon. The Se'n Dorrin, a group of Hapans dedicated to the liberation of men from their status as second-class citizens in Hapan society, have had a split; one group, more hateful and fervent, wants to strike down the Consortium's leadership, using terror as leverage to dethrone the Queen. The rest of the Se'n Dorrin retain their original vision of militant action towards change in the Consortium, more focused on winning over the people and injecting the public conscience with hope for liberation rather than striking fear into the ruling class.
The first thread will be a bit faster pace. The terrorists have hostages and the fortress of the royal family; the situation needs to be diffused, but force is almost certainly necessary. The second thread will be a bit slower, focused on an extended campaign primarily on the tropical moon of Relephon IV, as the rebels attempt to advance into Relephon's capital, Charhelm, and the fortress of House AlGray, the local ruling house. Much more military focus.
Both threads will be dropping on Monday. Part of this will be leading into a Senate thread about this bill -- big equality hours.
