Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Juthan Athar, discarded him when the Sith EMpire fell, has yet to play him again and Alex became my new main.

Though, Alex was main on several other servers, AFTER i actually got rid of a different char.

My first main was a man by the name of David Tharkosa, who was a murderer and... well a profane act that will not be brought up in a PG-13 setting. I played him for a few years and oddly enough i stopped playing him because of the attention that Alexandra got while on a World of Warcraft server that our good friend [member="Darth Vornskr"] had been helping run with a man named Burtimus. After the head admin Burt had actually put Alex in a pivotal story line i started playing her more and slowly from server to server she was incarnated each time. This version of Alex is actually the Twelfth, all the past ones different in some way.

I don't think I've ever actually abandoned a character. They always come back in one way or another.
Whether it's on another RP site or just in the stories I write.
They never really leave.
But then again, even if I did stop writing them... they'd kinda be there still anyway.

Yes but on different sites. I've never discarded a character however some have been killed and have remained dead. If it was done in a fair fight or I was tricked by a clever ploy, plot, etc I'm happy to let go most of the time. If I've played a character for a long time and I've become attached to them I admit it can be difficult though.

Helios tends to evolve with the site. To elaborate on the history of his concept, his first incarnation looked like this.

From there he fell to the darkside and then became what he is today. Nuada didn't exist at the time though, so who knows what would have become of young Ordo Fillion if Hellboy 2 was never released, but once I saw the movie I immediately thought of the concept of directing my healthy looking elf/Legolas into falling and slowly transforming into a darker elf which was Nuada. When the site died however, I only used Nuada from there on because I didn't want to retell/reenact the rise/fall story arc, so I rerolled him purely as a Sith on each site thereafter. Eventually, I ended up excluding the arc altogether in his history and only picked up his Sith uprising along with new/different beginnings.

My alts tend to keep the same name(sometime) and similar backgrounds but I usually shape them for whatever faction on the board fits them most so that they're remade/recreated just for that group and fit in better. They also tend to die more often though, so meh.

I find use in all my characters even if they are dead or alive.

But one character in particular, Ti'Cira's granddaughter, had her story completely discarded and given a blank slate. Mainly because the writer who wrote her ic husband ended up convuluting their story to the point that what would have happened to make her what she was would have never happened to begin with.

It was all very confusing, and sad.

;_;

Oh memories~~

I actually shelved Danger for about six months because it was just too depressing to write her. I just couldn't do it. It wasn't until Chaos was made that I decided to bring her over -- and since this incarnation didn't quite have to deal with [member="Noxu Za'tire"], i was able to give her life again...

Now she's runs the ACME version of BP fuels, Walmart, and FedEx. XD

My first character here, Alachei Mnemenos, was permanently retired until further notice. However, I turned them into an approved NPC just in case I or someone else still find(s) use in her.

I thought about bringing her back quite a lot, but I already made a new character of the same species, gender and persuasion that is pretty much the same in every way except personality and allegiance. It's always fun to start over, and I don't like butchering a character's original type just to suit my desires at the time.

I've never dropped an MC.

In fact, aside from the name, Silara is literally the reincarnation of every single MC I've done.

Now, sure, in one community that was essentially a game with RP elements, I had a ton of characters that I cycled through, but I would generally use the Silara-esque template the most. I only cycled through them, however, because once you died your saved data was erased and you literally had to re-create it all over again.

One. She was in a SW rp on another site. When I found this place a year or two after I tried to port over. Didn't feel right. She was made for an earlier time (Thrawn Era). So she'll forever be shelved.

And I've thought about killing off Rayl, but I keep getting pulled back in.
