DESCRIPTION

The first mainline heavy cruiser developed by Arms Dynamics, the Gravis Class Heavy Cruiser is built for brawling with enemy capital ships. The main weapons are set up to strip the shields of the enemy ships at long range and then close the distance to finish them with a broadside. The favoured tactic for commanders of this ship when fighting larger ships or formations of similar sized warships is to start in a diagonal pattern, strip the shields from the enemy with lances, then perform an Akbar Slash to inflict mortal damage.

The Gravis isn’t without issues however, it carries a very small number of fighters and is not built to carry a large number of troops. Commanders of this ship must focus on its role as a brawler, and not engage without proper screening against strike craft and corvettes.

A nicely written and formatted submission. The ratings come out as one (1) over but I will allow that, seeing as both of your weaknesses are actionable and reasonable. A bruiser ship with heavy armament and defenses, but lacks the capability to perform a well-rounded and sustained fight.
