Master of the Hyperspace Seas

The Blue Pearl rocked to its side as it narrowly avoided blaster fire.
For the most part, the job on Christophsis went well. They got the rare crystals from the vaults, and they were now on their way back to Castilon outpost. Unfortunately, the CDF had other plans. The planet’s security force didn’t take to kindly to the...relocation of their crystals. But the pirates honestly couldn’t care less.
The Corellian Run was packed with its usually traffic, thankfully. He opened up a transmission to the other Captains in the fleet.
“Men, I found our cleaning. Fly yourself into the traffic, and make your way to the center lanes. We will use the civilian ships as our cover. Pyrrah out.”
Closing off the transmission, he began to man the wheel. With a little more force than he anticipated, the guided the large ship straight into the lanes. Various vessels of all shapes and sizes dodge out of the way. A small opening presented itself, and the Captain took it.
Slipping into the lanes, he was only given a few seconds of rest before the defense force continued firing. Bunch of nerfers they were. The small starfighters would more than likely follow out of their jurisdiction, which would be troublesome.
Before he even had the chance to give the signal, his crew began firing the guns at the starfighters. Thankfully this took them by surprise, taking out two of them. He quickly opened another transmission to the fleet.
“Looks like Christophsis isn’t too focused on their ship quality. Should be easy pickings for you.”
The large ship continued to fly on, the other pirate ships in tow. More of the defense force would be coming soon, bringing larger ships. That was why they needed to set the thrusters to full and charge ahead.
