Going to the mall, Today!

Gray was ready to be done with this place. He said to Brook as he was contemplating burning the place down for the sake of everyone, " Coffee isn't bad. I drink the stuff from time to time. What did you have in mind?"

"Just follow me." She said taking his hand and sensing his stress and she lead him out into the crowds once more. She fought the crowds for 25 minutes before reaching the food court and a coffee store "They have the best coffee in the galaxy here let me buy you a cup."

Gray let her lead him off to the shop. He wasn't sure if this place really did have the best coffee or not seeing as he was a mercenary and not a trader, but he was happy to hear they were not going to be terrible. He said to her, " Thanks, and I can get both our cups. You are being nice enough to show me around after all." He didn't mind the idea of letting someone pay for something for him, but what kind of guy who he be if he let a teenage girl buy him a cup of coffee when he actually had some credits for once.

Gray didn't feel like arguing with her as insistant as she was being. He didn't really know much about coffee since he didn't drink the stuff much. He tended to drink either water or liquor and not much else. He thought about it for a moment before he finally said, " Surprise me."

OOC: And this is when Fett shows up and shoots the place up.

Gray looked around as Brook disappeared into the coffee shop. He saw that woman again from earlier before they went into the clothing store. He didn't have much time to think anything about it though when Brook showed back up with a cup. He took a sniff of it and wondered what it was. It kind of looked like coffee, but it also kind of didn't. He wasn't sure what it was, but he took a sip of it. It was hot and tasted like coffee with more than a hint of white chocolate. He smiled and said, " Thanks. It's good." He took another sip of it as he continued to try and figure it out.

"So on to the next stop." She says taking his hand again and leading him through the crowds which have just gotten thicker and make it harder for her until she is stuck at a stand still

Gray was still sipping on the coffee as she lead him until she came to a stop. He looked around the crowd since he was actually tall enough to do that. He couldn't really see any shops that looked like the place he needed to go. He was amazed by the press of people everywhere. It was like an overly populated space station. He leaned down a bit and said, " So we are kind of stuck here aren't we?"

Gray looked around the crowd but couldn't see any way to get out of it without pulling out his pistol and firing into the air. And he didn't think that would be a good idea right now. He took another sip of his drink and said, " Looks like all we can do is wait it out or wade through it at the pace it sets for us."

Gray was starting to understand why his parents never went to malls. The sheer number of people was outrageous to behold. He frowned slightly and said, " I think I will just ask my employer about a good place to find nice clothes at. She seems like she would know something like that. So how about we try to find a place we can just sit down and relax at?"

Gray was starting to wish he was in a combat situation right now. Then he could just throw Brook over his shoulder and force his way through the crowd of people to the safe point. That would make things so much faster and easier, but people generally didn't like it when that happened even in combat situations. He said as he began to scan the crowd for a way through, " Good news on that front at least. Lets just hope we make it there by next week." He drank the rest of the coffee and contemplated throwing it at someone's head and seeing what happened. Knowing his luck though it would end up in a fire fight in the middle of the mall with him having to shield someone smaller than him from harm... likely Brook.

Gray followed Brook to where she had gone to sit down and joined her. He was glad to be out of the press of people. He began to look around to see what was going on and noticed that woman yet again in the crowd. Was she going to be that person who just kept popping up all the time for some unexplainable reason? Who knew, but at least now Gray could put his coffee down.

He said after he had gotten settled in, " So how are things going with you?"

"Same as always just trying not to get ran over by people its hard." She says finishing her coffee and looking at Gray as if she were staring through his very soul she was feeling his emotions and wondering if that were normal

Gray was definitely not the best example of what normal was, or could even tell you what it was. Weird dreams, prophetic nightmares, and all the other kinds of weirdness you could dream up were just too common in his family for it to even phase him when he heard about it in other people.

Gray did notice Brook's odd looks at him and smiled at her. He wasn't sure if that was really the right response, but found it worked out most of the time. He said, " Yeah, I try not to run people over myself. Too messy and gets blood everywhere."
