DESCRIPTION
Gellenbright sells security in a galaxy gone mad, yes, but more than that it sells loyalty. It sells trust. Mercenaries are a dime a dozen, but loyal mercenaries are another matter entirely - once Gellenbright has been contracted, whether to set up a home security system or wage war upon competitors, they will never break contract; come hell or high water, "the Contract is All"...

... but since the galaxy is an uncertain place, such contracts always come packed with various force majeure provisions and escape clauses.

Its unusual reliability notwithstanding, Gellenbright is a fairly normal, if large, PMC - they are most certainly no Sun Guard.

RATIONALE
Initially formed as a private army of sorts for the Globex Corporation in an attempt to effectivize its security infrastructure and bolster its negotiating power when wrangling independent security contractors, Gellenbright quickly evolved into a nascent power in the field of private security.

Its initial security contractors were recruited from a wide range of sources, ranging from GA
Sector Rangers and Sith-Imperial Legionnaires to the roughest of mercenaries... and a significant number of glorified mall cops. It goes without saying that competence varies drastically.

Following recent reforms, Gellenbright has begun to focus its personnel policy towards a small but competent force of battle-hardened veterans that in turn are supplemented by legions of droids, most prominently
Stryders and Synthmarines. Where cheaper manpower or "disposable bodies" are needed, it now acquires such "temporary contractors" from outside sources - and thus worry less about their safety.

MERCENARY UNITS
  • Special Litigation Unit: These elite lawyer-cum-soldiers are few in number but exceedingly skilled; when you need a rival sued for everything they are worth and/or assassinated, the Special Litigation Unit are the right people for the job. Just be sure to read the fine print.
  • Redhand Troopers: Former criminals 'eager' to find redemption in battle, Redhands are unfailing loyal (not by choice, mind you - a brain chip punished any disobedience with intense pain), ruthless, and willing to do anything it takes to get the job done (and preferably survive).
NB! Gellenbright may be freely used for NPC security contractors, former/current jobs, etc.
