Reports of FWC held hostages by the rioters inside her objective. Secondary mission protocols required their release to stabilize the city.

Analysing threat to hostages... Rioters not registered as organized resistance, not registered as professional mercenaries. Recommended fast strike for suitable hostage recovery will yield acceptable losses of personnel. Confusion and panic suitable cover to reach hostages.

The HRD’s processed the information all reaching the same conclusion as one, they were all running mostly the same software, and so acted together.

Apart from receiving few cuts and scrapes to their skin tissue, they’d reaching the cities main central secro-police complex unchallenged by any high threat resistance so far. Outside the primary power conduit was located and the wires pulled, it had a backup generator of course internally, this was a highly secure facility, but it would take a second or two for the lights to come back up through the entire large facility. Turning on Infrared vision, several gas grenades were lobbed into the lobby by one of the squad. Thankfully they didn’t need to breathe.

The HRD’s moved inside the front door, blowing it off its hinges with a bolter shot to cause confusion. Filtering in to not bunch up and to present harder targets, a heavy bolter completely blew apart the next main security door. Emergency lighting started to come online, and the lights themselves were shot out, giving the HRD’s the benefit for seeing their enemy, but their enemy not seeing them. Muzzle flashes erupted in the darkness, her red vision locking on to humanoid forms as they scattered before them. Standing in the firefight the HRD's took shots in return, one of the squad’s armor taking a beating, and another’s arm damaged, but they were in. Operational damage to the drones was expected and anticipated, it simply didn’t matter. Scanning around... target's pacified. One lifeform remained conscious.

The live man caught in the initial entrance was picked up against the wall, and pressure was applied to his chest, till he told her the location of the hostages, very specific amounts of vice-like pressure to cause great discomfort but not kill him. He had no training to resist pain, and soon gave the drone the required information. Uriel dropped him and stunned him point blank after he did, simply following her mission.

Sub Level 3 – Dwing. All units proceed to level 3 Dwing.

Low threat settings meant stun weapons were preferred, and used where able. Shooting through transparent walls back and forth with those inside. Through the stations halls, around corners and into gunfire she registered hits to her shield and armor, rounds bouncing off her. A bolter shot did take out the entire end of a corridor. Formerly containing a man threatening to throw a grenade. Other than that, the HRD's were inside with little loss of life. Uriel felt several impacts registered to her back, turning around…

Iziz was a city that had been constructed to survive an onslaught. That was clear even from a distance. Xin kept the level on the approach and fairly close to ground level. There had been reports of insurgents on the ground with mandalorian supplied weaponry and he wasn't going to risk it. He couldn't weave into the city and make a landing with the hybridium stealth running. At least not easily.

He turned towards Delila as the ship fired reverse thrusters and diverted its power towards repulsors. Skreech seemed to have had enough of his thoughtful mood. That, or he had realised she was keeping some of that foul smelling meat on her person.

"Nuh no to turn around. Just thinking." He cocked his head to one side, clearly considering his next words. "Yuh were worried about mi hanging around and yuh are going right into dis. And I know yuh know what yuh are doing, but still..."

It wasn't a very eloquent explanation. It certainly didn't scratch below the surface of all the history that was playing in his mind right now. He did, at least, make it clear that the idea of turning his back on the situation and leaving it to her was difficult for him. The two of them were just pushing into new ground where the genuinely acted about each other. This was just in the verge of the moment where the universe would decide to punish him for daring to grow attached to something, for believing in false hope and spoken promises.

What her apprentice said was accurate in that they might come under fire. So far those that approached them did it peacefully. The fighting was moving closer though and Ra wanted to get these people take care of before having to move on.

Chaos reigned nearby and the people here threatened to give up on the order they were in. Uncomfortable now, they looked like a wave that was about crash onto the shore. That shore being Ra and her apprentice.

"That would be a good idea, however, I won't have children harmed. You've been around me long enough to know that. Who's rolling over and showing bellies? These people have been asking for help for a while. It just took me time to build up enough supplies to actually help."

Reaching out to her radio, she called out to the others lending aide and the Raxis that had called for help first.

"This Ra'a'mah Numare and here to help finally. Getting things under control is proving more difficult than anticipated on the streets. Other areas are calm though."

Allies: FWC
Enemies: Clan Raxis and their allies
Equipment: Coruscant Sensor Armor, 3x Cyclops Drones, Stun Baton, OEC R-150 Blaster, Smoke Grenades, Repair Kits
Drone Equipment(4 slots):
Git: electroshock probe, motion and acoustic sensors, comlink, sonar mapper
Atom: comlink, motion and acoustic sensors, thermal imagery, plasma cutter
Net: electroshock probe, computer probe, Holo Camera, comlink

Tavi eventually had to set his helmet to the side, as their conversation began to take up more time. He mostly listened but put in his own bits here and there. He told Marina that Net would be assigned to her, and his primary role would be to protect Marina. Atom and Git will be used for recon and surveying and will notify them of anything of importance in the area, or anything coming towards their location. Tavi would help Marina in distributing the supplies, while also serving as security. That is the basic stuff honestly, Marina was more detailed with their plan of action of distribution, and even evacuation if it comes to it.

Tavi was still worried about one thing, this third party that had taken advantage of the FWC. This was no small feat, and they had executed their plan effectively, securing the supplies of the FWC, while promoting unrest and effectively causing a rebellion that no one saw coming. Tavi had to say he was impressed. It took a lot of finesse and resources to do this. They would probably like to see these aid efforts fail and effectively get Onderron out of FWC control.

After their talk, Tavi had put back on his helmet and decided to take a nap. He had woken when Marina told him they would be arriving in a few minutes. Which was followed by a lot of turbulence, and some of his drones flying around and hitting walls.

As they finally broke through atmosphere, Tavi lurched forward in his seat as Marina piloted the ship.
"WELL I DONT THINK THEY KNOW WE ARE HERE!......Give me a couple minutes, I think my organs are out of place!" Tavi yelled as he clung to his seat.

Be de beep be.... Her droid spun it's turret and rocked in delight.

"Oh Hell yea!... love that sonic blast...whew!.." Marina shouted, full of exhilaration and spirit. She had pulled it off again, checking her time on the monitor. She was getting real good at pushing time and space to a near perfect collision. Of course that would be a physical impossibility to get below the first few digital seconds. But she had kept working on it using different variables for quite some time now and still had yet to get close to dropping that time to less than 4 seconds before hitting atmosphere.
It weren't at all something she did all the time, for it had really no margin for error...and she knew that. And that was why her heart was still beating a kilometer a minute.

The sonic boom had certainly announced that something had broken atmosphere from above, but she had now slowed the Mariner to just below the crest of mach one and was skimming the polar ice, making her way up to the first continent in the Southern Hemisphere of the planet.
She had a moment to look over to her new companion. ... "He-he...you don't look worse for wear, Tavi. " Marina chuckled.
She had not warned him of what she had planned to do, in bypassing whatever fleet or enemy ships had set up as a blockade on the planet, to interfere with FWC aid in reaching the surface.
She figured that if she had let him in on how fast they were going to hit the planet, that he'd object or think she had gone loco.

"We've well vectored off that announcement call. If anything, by the time a patrol is sent out to investigate, we'll be well on the other side of the continent." She said, looking from the HUDs to the lower holo system projectors. They hadn't picked up any bandits that she could see. Even if she wasn't looking, her droid was.
...and of course Tavi's to, which one seemed to be hovering right behind her shoulder, peering at the same displays. Marina didn't know which of the three it was, but most likely Net, as the little hovering droid had stayed close to her since Tavi had assigned it to her.

The Mariner IV had been flying low enough over the terrain that it could be difficult for the enemy to spot or pick up. Then again, she was a pretty compact ship for her class. But so far, it had stayed out of enemy radar.
"We're coming up on drop point one, Tavi. " Marina informed him, as now they were skimming over what seemed to be farming communities.

"TK, keep those scanners up....look for any new ground defense systems..." She bade caution, as there didn't seem to be any enemy aircraft about, but that didn't mean they hadn't set up ground to air defenses.

do da de beep de....Naturally her droid questioned her on the comment of the sensors.
"I don't literly mean up... up as in keep the scanners....scanning!"

be de beep de....But they had been scanning since they dropped out of hyperspace, TK informed her.

"OK!...fine....sheesh....just talking s'all...." She rolled her eyes.
Yes, she could be quite a talker.

"You, stop laughing....I heard you arguing with your boys too, Tavi." she shot him a glance.

She started to back pedal to get back to the ship pushing her small frame between the man and his intended destination. Her ship. Inside the First responders had not yet noticed the mob heading towards them.

Maeve tried pushing against the big man, "They are for you why are you being like this?"

"Coalition scum. That's what you and your kind are." He grabbed her shoulder pushing her hard out of the way.

Maeve stumbled but did not fall. She felt a rush of energy come over her as she turned, running and jumping on the back of the big man. "What the!!" He reached around to grab her, her small hands covered his eyes. As his larger ones grabbed her arms.

"You want to play missy, fine" With his great strength he yanked her hard from her spot and threw her to the ground, "stay there"

"NO" She scrambled to get up.

"You're going to get hurt girl, just give me the supplies"

She shook her head and jumped in front of him her face already red from wrestling with him, bitter tears streaked her cheeks as she made her stance in front of the door to the ship. "You can't just take them all. Everyone needs them" She sniffled what could she say to him.

"Aren't there women and chlidren who need it?" Her knees were growing weak. She could use some back up. Where were the responders?

The big man stopped he was staring at her. She was tiny yet fiesty. She seemed to believe in what she was doing. And feth it she was crying. "How old are you?"

"I just turned 18. This is my first mission" she reached up quickly and wiped the tears away.

She looked like his daughter. "Why did they send you?"

She shrugged, "They thought it was safe. Onderon needed help." she started to relax and stood a little taller.

"Really I want to help, I brought help, doctors, medicine, food...let me help"

The vast landscape of farms soon opened up below the Mariner IV.
It skimmed across the terrain, field after field, just above tree tops that were used as wind breakers between fields.
Marina had been delivering supplies here in the past, being on her route before she finished her rounds at the city centers which were North of these lowland farming communities . Here, she had never had to just deliver and drop off the FWC supplies and aid to administrators and local sanctioned authorities. These communities ran on their own, as they were farmers...the salt of the earth on Onderon.

"You're going to fit right in, Tavi..." She smiled as it were a relief as she approached the community center without incident. She knew the ruckus and reported civil disturbances and fighting were mostly in the larger cities up North...a few thousand miles away. But intel had reported it as planet wide...or so were all the reports from various sources.

"They wear their armor when not attending to the fields." She were giving clue as to her friends that she were heading to. the mariner had slowed to just a few hundred kilometers and hour so as not to kick up dust or disrupt the fields, flying so low.
Her droid had been monitoring the scanners for air crafts and the like, but nothing had popped on the displays of yet.

"Oh my...this is different..." She said as the mariner Iv came to the clearing she usually put down.
The farmers were mostly in their armor and were coming out of the center as she descended.

Be de beep be de... Her droid alerted her that some were armed.

"They are just...gulp... cautious TK...they're our friends....remember?" She said, as the ship's struts took the weight of her ship when she put down. lord, why were her friends approaching her ship...armed?

"With all that's happened up North, let me go out and see what's up and let them know you're with me...Ok?" She looked over to Tavi as she unbuckled out of her seat.
TK...shut the engines down. Just keep them ready to book if we do pick up some crafts...otherwise. off." She jutted her index to her droid to make it a point it was not negotiable.

"Tavi... I'll wave you over when I let them know I came with an associate....please?" Marina was certainly not as chipper as she had been before landing. She had never seen the entire clan in armor, as it was still early morning and basically most used to tend the fields.

The Mariner IV's ramp lowered and Marina stepped out and down the ramp. the sun was in her eyes but she could easily make out the farmers in their armor.

She recognized the black clan leaders armor, as she had often been invited into his adobe and broken bread with him and his family.
"Kar Thum....is the community well?" She asked, bravely approaching the Mando who was brandishing a weapon.

"Why are you here!" he demanded in a commanding tone.
"Who sent you?!"

Marina's heart was beating a mile a minute, as she had not expected such a welcome...or maybe not a welcome.
"I...ahem..." She cleared her throught and the lump that had built up. yes, she was frightened by the change in her friend's tone toward her...and confused.
"...I came under my own free will...like I always-" She managed to speak, before he stepped closer to her, cutting her off.

"You shouldn't have come. Not on Onderon!
If I could I'd discipline you for that. You should know better than come at a time of unrest dear adiik..."

"Ahhh... pant...pant...." Marina's knees almost buckled before she sighed a relief.
Her friend wasn't warning her, he was scolding her for coming. Kar had menancingly seemed to walk up to her brandishing his weapon, but that was because he was in armor and it appeared that way. he dropped his weapon before embracing her.

"Lord... I thought the worst... gulp... thought-"

"You thought right my adiik...there is much division and un-trust, even among our vods. Our clans seem divided on the fate of this world, its people and it's allies. here, we stick with the truth. You have and will always remain our friend, Marina Devoe." he said putting his hands on her shoulders as he took a step back.

"I...I brought you- .."

"We are good here. We've had our first harvests and we stand strong on our own, my dear burc'ya. You have helped us though our time of umaan as a true Burc'ya.
Now come...come and taste what my wife has set on our table. Your journey must have been as umaan.
My vod will set field stock nets over your ship so that it cannot be spotted..." he then gestured his clansmen to start camouflaging her ship as he then took to invite her into his adobe.

"No, no... I am on my runs. I came here to drop off what I usually do, then must tend to others..."

"Then, I must say that we are good here. If it comes down to it, we can ration what we have already harvested, should this conflict not end." Kar replied.

"I understand...but best if you take them anyway...should it be longer than anyone dares to expect. I don't know how long it would be before I can visit you again." She implored.

Kar shook his head, drawing his hand again on her shoulder. "News travels fast, despite attempts at disrupting communications between the clans settled here on Onderon. There are other communities that have lost their crops further north due to aggressors. There hasn't been any clear and truthful reports as to why all this is happening, just as we have reclaimed Onderon again from the tyranny of the former overlords. "

"Kar....at least take the medicines...you can't grow medicines.."

He laughed... " No, no we can't grow the medicines. I will take then what you can spare.
But know that in the North, there is much turmoil. Clan Raxis has much influence over many clans that claim they have been abandoned by the FWC. I cannot confirm, nor deny if these reports are true.
But there is fighting between the clans divided, Marina.
It may be best, if you go to your own home...be with your family...your people." he said.

Marina didn't understand why he had mentioned she be with her own family. But seeing for herself and hearing it from Kar that the clans here were divided made her think he were more speaking of being with his family. As thus, she was assuming he was just relaying his feelings of staying close to his family in these dark times.
And she took his remark of a Clan Raxis as just another clan that he had mentioned were divided from his. Besides, she didn't know anything at all about Clan Raxis

"I am here now on Onderon, and for Onderon I came to help. I'll be going home once I make my rounds, Kar.
....er, speaking of which." She back thumbed to her ship being in the process of getting a camouflage make over, with field vegetation intertwined in nets..

"Ah!.. vods!..." he called his brothers to attention.
Then he gave the cut signal for them to abort camouflaging the ship, and to help marina unload the medical supplies she had brought them.

"Oh...before there are any more surprises, I have brought a friend along to help me. His name is @Tavi Riely ." She gestured to her ship.

"Hmm... why has he not come forth and faced me?"

"It...it was my precaution..." Her eyes pointed to the weapon that Kar had come with, along with the other armored vods of his clan.

"Ha ha ha...you should come for a good stay among my people here when the skies clear, my burc'ya.
Let him come out so that we meet like men." He then extended his hospitality to whom Marina had brought with her.

She nodded, turning toward her ship and gestured a wave for Tavi to come out and meet Kar Thum.

OOC Note :
Not stampeding, just landin' the old girl!

Gaze drifted away from Xin and back out the viewport. There were a mess of ships trying to both enter and leave the atmosphere, making it hard to discern friend from foe. Most of her information mentioned unrest on the ground rather than in the skies, although she did notice a few disabled ships along the way. Without more information - and better resources - it was unwise to look any more closely than a passing glance.

"In which you're concerned about leaving me to my own devices and if I happen to die you'll feel responsible? I promise my ghost won't hold my death against you."

Joke probably fell flat considering the subject matter. Dells got the general reason why without having the pry further. Not the entire picture but enough to piece together to understand the issue at hand. Survivors guilt, or the feeling he should have done more would run deep if such a fate befell her. Xin would feel more in control if he was somehow contributing, following her around during the uprising.

"Then I suppose you're stuck by my side. I don't see any other option beyond 'don't go to the surface' which is impossible for me. In which case you'll need to land the Dahlia at the Royal Place, Iziz. Sending verification now so we don't get blown clear from the sky."

Identity verification sent, Dahlia was clear to land on an outer platform, a small strip of space left amongst numerous other vessels. Iziz was coming into view and it was clear a curfew was in place. Troops roamed some streets, barricades up in others.

"Little too quiet down there from the looks of it."

Tavi stared out the window as Marina waved at the ship, and was making a motion to come out. He started shaking his head and was about to say no until he realizes that she couldn't see him. Tavi just sighed. He had to go out there or risk her looking like an idiot, or him looking like a coward. Guess he had to go meet the locals. Tavi turned his head to his drones.

"We are going out there, but no sudden movements. Don't mess with them, and be very serious...please" Tavi said as he started to exit the ship, with his drones following him. He heard three quick beeps in succession from them, and he relaxed slightly. Now he didn't have to worry about them.

As Tavi exited the ship he saw many armed individuals in armor. Guess farmers took it to another whole level on this planet. The farmers watched every move as he exited the ship, there was slight movement and whispers when they saw his drones, but he expected nothing else. Tavi then made his way to the black armored individual next to Marina. This man held himself like a leader and did nothing as Tavi made his way to him and finally stood before him. The two evaluated each other, scanning each other from top to bottom until Tavi held out his hand.

"Your armor is very well made, and a work of art," Tavi said with his hand extended out.

"Thank you, yours is...unique, and well made too," Kur replied as he reached out and gripped his hand strongly.

"Now Tavi Riley, I am Kur Thum. You stayed on the ship and let our burc'ya, Marina DeVoe, do all the talking. Were you afraid to come out and meet my people?" Kur said still gripping Tavi's hand.

"You people are mighty warriors as I see, but I was not afraid to meet them. Marina told me that I should stay on the ship, and talk to you first. She was afraid that seeing an outsider and stranger like me, would complicate introductions and negotiations. I listened to her because I felt she was right, and she is my leader for now." Tavi said as he felt Kur crushing his hand with his durasteel grip.

Kur nodded his head and let go of Tavi's hand. Tavi wanted to wince, but bit his tongue and just acted like the man's grip had not affected him.

"Now you wear armor, and are armed," Kur said pointing at Tavi's stun baton "I would guess these droids of yours are armed also. Why are you here Tavi?

"I am here to make sure the supplies get to the people...and that Marina is able to make it home to her family safe and sound. These arms and droids are for their protection." Tavi said.

"Hmmm it is good to see she is being protected....yet both of you should not have come, even if your goal is honorable...you should have stayed home it is very dangerous and the skies are cloudy...tell me Tavi, don't you want to see your family again?

"My family is right here. You're looking at them. Meet my brothers." Tavi said while pointing at the drones surrounding him.

"Hahaha, I mean your actual family, people that are flesh and blood. Your father, mother, even your comrades in arms." Kur laughed.

"Don't get none of those. My flesh and blood are all dead, so are my comrades in arms. I mostly work alone and just with my drones. These guys are all the family I have left." Tavi said with a shrug. He then waited as Kur became silent and focused on him more. Tavi glanced towards Marina and saw she was staring at him also. OHH he didn't mention that when they were chatting on the ship. They mostly had discussed plans and their skills, but nothing very personal. Tavi didn't see the point in mentioning it.

Kur seemed to find his voice again "That is very sad to hear...but surely you have someone that will sing of your deeds, and tell stories about you."

Tavi turned his head to one of his drones.

"Can you guys sing? Never considered it." Tavi asked

"Boop" Git replied.

"I guess nobody," Tavi said as he turned his head back to Kur.

"No that is not true, you are good friends with Marina DeVoe aren't you? She will sing of your deeds and tell your stories, yes?You two must be good comrades if you are here together, yes?" said Kur as he looked at Tavi, then at Marina, then back at Tavi and shook his head.

Well, that was interesting. Could Tavi consider Marina a comrade, a friend? He literally just met her today and known her for a few hours...Would she even remember if he died today? Tavi doubted it, but still, he felt like he shouldn't mention those things to Kur.

"Yes, you are right. We are good friends. So I could count on her to sing of my deeds and tell of my adventures, and vice versa I would do the same for her." Tavi said as he looked at Marina and then at Kur.

"Well, that is good. You had me worried. One who has no family and no comrades lives a very dark life. It is very easy for those people to get lost, and become angry and cold." Kur said with a more cheerful attitude. While Tavi just nodded and felt a sort of emptiness inside as he listened to Kur.

Harris stood form his seat, he looked at the glass and approached the front of the bridge, past the chatting officers and crewmembers, and right to the front. He looked out into hyperspace, His men were already preparing. He pushed the mic button on the control panel.
"I Need Commander Jacobson to the bridge"
Harris' voice echoed throughout the loudspeakers of the ship. He stood and waited. After a few minutes of no words, a soldier, dressed in modified, white and red Stormtrooper armor with a Pauldron, walked up to Harris.
"Lord, You requested me?"
Harris Turned to him slowly. "Yes, I need you to prepare the 1st Defense Battalion, Alert them that they need to prepare their Riot squads, and prepare Non-lethal weapons. These people are still our people, and we mustn't kill them. We want the rebelling people to still feel comfortable when the are reincorporated. We want those who are loyal to feel safe, and not be horrified that their government may kill them for resisting and not accepting rule. This mission is more-so to restore order, and I will not have the blood of civilians on my hands. Do you understand?"
"Yes, My Lord."
Harris and Jacobson Saluted one another and then Jacobson turned and walked towards the elevator of the bridge.

***

There was chatter between the men. Each of the troopers lay or sat on there bunks, relaxing and conversing with one another. The air was calm and no orders had yet been received by the 1st, Jacobson hadn't even returned yet.
"Hey, Ryan. When do you think we're finally gonna see some damn action? I'm tired of sitting around all day, hoping that an attack will come that we will deal with. I want to be out on the field like one of those Attack Battalions under Wills or Hutchings. Then we'd finally get that action that I enlisted for."
Another soldier, wearing the standard black uniform with a distinguished blue stipe on the shoulder, stood.
He started with a thick Scottish accent, "Careful what you wish for Jango, remember what happened last time when you asked for some action. Our Whole Damn Ship was destroyed."
The English-sounding soldier looked at the trooper, he wouldn't admit her was wrong. "Shut up Bryce. C'mon, look at our ship, no way that'd happen again."
"I wouldn't be to sure about that."
The men all looked to the door where the voice came from, one of the men stood and shouted. "Officer on deck!"
all of them men stood, and stiffened, facing towards the door.
"At ease men. We have orders from the Lord Admiral, we are to be deployed on the ground as riot suppression force. we are not to kill anyone unless necessary, only to restore order to the rebelling populous and arrest anyone destroying property or harming others. We will be sent in groups that I've assigned specifically for this mission. Squad Leaders may come up and check there place and deployment number in a moment. Oh, and one last thing each squad will be assigned as either and armed protection unit or a riot group. Every Riot group deployed will Have the support of one squadron of men with rifles. They are a last resort if any of the men's lives are threatened. I do not want to see any dead civvies after this, so please do everything you can to prevent that from happening. Now gear up men, Squad leaders, get your assignments.
The men quickly organized into their squads, and all the leaders checked the papers for their unit. When the fiasco was finished, half of the men were wearing Stormtrooper Riot Gear with stun Batons and Shields, and the other half were wearing Stormtrooper Gear with DC-15 A's. The Men Matched with their assigned units, and stood, preparing for deployment.
"This enough action Jango?"
Some of the men laughed amongst themselves.

Harris turned to Wills, he shook his head and turned back to the glass.
 "Are all preparations made?"
"Yes sir, The troops are ready to march, the Acclamators are prepared to land, and the men's blood's boiling for a fight."
"Good to here, just remind them that they aren't killing anyone, this is simply just restoring order to our system. Wills, I don't need anything bad to happen on the ground, we don't need to rile up the people."

 "I understand sir."
"Good"
Harris began walking towards the nav-table, an officer stood up and shouted.
"Prepare to come out of hyperspace sir!"
The ship rattled and shook as it slowed, it's nose tipped downwards and the ship glided out of hyperspace and stopped over the planet.
Harris loosened as the ship stopped, he released the bar that he had just now realized he was holding onto.
"Release the defense battalion's transports, send out the fighters for air superiority and tell the Acclamators to begin landing with the Assault forces."
An officer looked up at Harris from the sunken control deck.
"Yes m'Lord."

Mercutios face grew cold a moment

"And you've been around me long enough to know that when it comes to children, I feel the same."

He then shrugged lightly

"They've been asking for help and offered what in return?"

He then hopped off the crate and pulled his mask from his belt.

"I'm going to go dark, see what their intentions really are. If they show up and see only you here and intend to take advantage.."

He then slowly slipped the steel mask over his face and ignited his golden shoto.

"They will be sorry."

He then faded from sight as he wrapped the force around him like a cloak.

All the big man could think about was looking at her cry. He shook his head, "What has FWC done for us, work to help someone take power and leave. Not looking back to see what was going on. What kind of people are you?"

Maeve dropped her hands, "We aren't conquerors. All the internal problems on any planet. as far as I know they are up to you to decide. If you need help you only have to say hey.." She sighed heavy as the other men came running up their faces flush from the run, their paws almost as massive as the man standing in front of her.

"I'm sure we have enough of almost everything." She noticed that in the new group there was a man with a cut she stepped over and brushed her fingers against it. "i can help with, I know it's little but...I can help" the man jerked his hand away, scowling at her.

She wasn't sure how to act as she had never encountered anyone who didn't want help or except help.

The men now stood in a half circle around her but at least they had stopped for the moment. The responders soon stood on the ramp looking out.

With great caution they moved out, "we have food, and medical supplies" For some reason no one really moved Maeve stood surrounded now.

"If you can come to the loading door we can start getting everything off." She waited, "please"

Marina DeVoe

Not a flight attendant... just a risk.
Location: Onderon, Southern farming community
Objective: Continue to provide aid to system, despite previous aid having been commandeered by unknown parties since Onderon's induction to FWC.
Allies: FWC, previously established civic centers, safe houses and hospitals.
Enemies: Trust no one outside of FWC and it's allies. Intelligence report false propaganda that has undermined FWC aid since Onderon's inception into the FWC.
Equipment: Mariner IV, food and medical supplies.

It were best not to over explain.

Marina realized how she must have made Tavi look like in front of Kur Thum. Mandalorean protocol were for warriors to face off, friend or foe, not to cower in a hole like a rodent.
For a moment she got that impression when Kur first questioned Tavi's motives for not coming out with Marina to meet his Clan.
Her heart sank, as she really didn't give the man (Tavi) an option before she disembarked. But Kur understood...at least he understood Marina and knew well enough for her to be so cautious of others.

He looked over to her, under his visor and could see her concern. He had thought strange of her when he had first encountered her. She had first come alone as she then did several times after that. Ever since word that Onderon's call for aid got out. It was the Free World Coalition that answered the call...not Mandalor, not the great Clan Houses but this little woman from Alderaan on behalf of the Free World Coalition.
His first impression was how could someone so weak with no fighting or farming skills help his people?
he found soon enough that strength did not come in just physical form. Marina, he discovered was as brave and had the honor of the best Mandalore that were rendered in songs.
And here she just proved it again, as he had met her in arms and in armor...and she still braved to face him. Braved to face him and his armed vods alone, even with a fine warrior like [member="TAI"] Riley on board. She braved harm come to her and not the warrior. Kur had senses her apprehension, her fear...still she walked up to him, not knowing if his clan had been duped by the propaganda and false accusations against her people.

A woman like Marina he too would know as daughter should she not be able to fight with strength, but with bravery. Kur understood the outside world and understood especially the Alderaani.
He was a Mando. His people, like the Alderaani had faced near annihilation in their past. But both people overcame...especially the Alderaani who's ancestral world was turned to dust. Mandalor had been conquered many times, but never to dust.

Kur Thum and many Mandalor clans saw Alderaani much like themselves. Both people survived near extinction. This this shared. This made them equal in more ways than any other people from the outer worlds.
And Tavi was marina's companion. he was with her to protect her. This Kur was pleased to hear, for he was to offer his best vod to accompany marina should she continue north on her routes. But he evaluated Tavi and was satisfied he would do what his trusted vod would do.

It wasn't Kur Thum to ask twice, but he did. He asked Tavi and Marina to come into his adobe and break bread with his family. Marina didn't have to answer, for Tavi agreed and would be honored. This time Marina smiled, thanking Kur and followed him along side Tavi into Kur's adobe.

They sat at the family table with Kur's children and wife. The men remained in armor, for the times were dark. Even Sant, Kur's wife was in armor, minus the helmet which was right there on the table where she was preparing the meal. Something which Marina never saw her in. This was quite something Marina was taken back with, as the scope of what was going on Onderon was now right there in front of her.
Naturally Marina wanted to give Sant a hand, but she laughed, coming to stroke marina's hair, like she did her children's. And they had sat after helping their mother set the table and bring portions of the meal to the table.
The children liked Marina and were happy to see her. Everyone laughed, broke bread and drank the drawn water from Onderon's wells which they had dug.

There was no talk of conflicts or war during the family meal, for this was family time. There was only talk of next harvest, the rains and how well Kur's son took over many of the farm chores. Kur's son looked upon his father, like his father looked upon him. There was pride of the accomplishment they had achieved here on this farm and with their clan, since Onderon did away with the old monarchy.

________~ ~ ~_________

"This is enough..." Kur gestured of the medical supplies he had received from marina which his vods and tavi unloaded. Marina had more for him, but he would not take more, knowing the other clans and communities further north needed it more.

"The fever's are all gone. Our harvest has strengthened us to stand on our own. For this, we thank you, Marina DeVoe and the people we do not see, but know that are behind you. This we will never forget.
Now I pray you heed my words..." He looked to Marina and Tavi.

"Word has spread that the clans in the North and in the cities are divided. Take heed on those who support Clan Raxis, for they are warmongers from Mandalore. Blood thirst is their pride at the moment. This will hopefully pass once there is enough blood spilled. For Mandalores soon come to realize that they are only killing their own for dishonorable reasons based on lies. Then and only then, will blood stop flowing upon this good earth.
Do not stop elsewhere but the places that know you, Marina DeVoe. I say this for if harm comes to you, I will spill their blood too upon this earth." He shook his finger at her.

"I know you will heed my words for you do not wish for me to spill your enemy's blood. So keep yourself in one piece...for my children wish to see your smile again. It makes my children smile the same. It looks good on them, your smile." he then said, before opening up his arms, like a father to his daughter.

And Marina and Clan leader Kur Thum bid their farewell, in a good hug.

Her apprentice asked what these people had done in return for getting these supplies.

"Well, they may not look like much or really that helpful, but they have brought droids to help when needed."

Giving a simple nod when he jumped down to sneak away from their position. Giving him a slightly dirty look when he ignited his saber in front of everybody, she attempted to quickly cover it up with her normal business façade. More and more, it was getting difficult to keep her Force ability secret. At least people had to figure out she was a secret sith.

For some reason that really mattered a great deal to many people. It wasn't what a person did, but the alignment. She was not an evil person, but if anybody learned of her code, she would be in serious trouble.

Aren't you already dark?

Asked with a sense of humor, Ra motioned to the droid carrying the supplies to move onto the next area. It would be more secure than where they were currently.

OOC summary: just landing our vessel to join in

“Please,” he said quietly. Once more he was unable to truly capture what ran through his mind in words. It sounded an almost pathetic request. Xin took it carefully with the controls. There were lots of ships spread across the landing bays but not as many of them were military as he had expected.

A range of laden freighters were being swarmed by people with repulsorcarts. They has been provided precious little information thus far, but from what had been provided they had gleaned that a mandalorian group had been promoting an uprising.

Xin wasn't quite out of things to say yet. Landing feet unfurled from their recessed and he let the external sensors find the space between two heavy freighters. He hadn't been flying the Dahlia long enough that he could judge a landing in such a tight space perfectly.

“I wouldn't have. Tried to stop you going into this.” Xin just wanted her to know that he wasn't trying to make decisions for her, or pressure her into them. It hadn't needed saying. Perhaps that was a facet of the age difference. That she placed more confidence in unspoken truths and actions. By contrast he sought more clarity.

“Let's go make friends then.” The ship touched down with barely a bump. He looked quite pleased with himself at that. The phrase had just been a casual expression, but the last time he had met her friends it had been the sister of her exhusband and a Jedi that had looked at her in a way he hadn't liked at all. Xin cast one more glance out of the viewscreen. A city built to defend against raging beasts from above, not angry citizens from within. This could all be very messy.

Reinforcements had come not long into the light siege on the Wookiee's held warehouse, over a hundred of his WS droids and equipment to keep them supplied through further attacks. Despite their clear desire to push the Coalition out of the system these partisans were easily forced into retreat, and at the sight of a full squadron of dropships they began pulling out of the sector. Of course it helped that the lead ships opened up with their laser cannons, slaying nearly a dozen in an opening salvo.

Since then his forces joined with Coalition troops and local security in locking down the spaceport, and despite a few small engagements to test their defenses, the rebels had fallen back for the moment. Now the spaceport was open for landings, with patrolling ships in the sky and snipers to watch for incoming enemies. It was far from safe, but it was enough for now.

Enough even that ships other than those from the Coalition were granted permission to land. The tension was palpable in the eyes of the patrolling guards, but despite the lockdown, these newcomers were a sight for Errreembuhr's sore eyes. Friendlies in a city whose inhabitants seemed anything but.

The Wookiee made his way towards a Nautolan and a red-haired human woman, a pair who seemed almost out of place here in their demeanor, especially compared to the expressions of exhaustion on the local guards and blank, emotionless faces of his droids.

"Welcome to Onderon," the Wookiee said as he approached [member="Xin Boa"] and [member="Delila Castillon"] near their ship, having toggled his translator device to Basic. "I am Errreembuhr, Coalition representative for New Plympto. I apologize for the state of the port here, we've only just fully secured the landing pads a few hours ago."

A Kinrath-class dropship flew overhead, its shadow being cast down on Talus and the other eight in what remained of his squad. He watched as it got to a position to lower onto the street, but just before it touched down, he spotted a tube appearing from a rooftop. The rocket was fired before 6687 could fire, and as the bolt from his marksman rifle struck the rebel, so too did the rocket strike the dropship.

The explosion rocked the street, one of the repulsors on the ship erupting in fire as pieces of the wing were thrown all over. Another rocket streaked its way from further down the street, striking the cockpit and triggering a reaction that coursed through the ship, culminating in the rear drop ramp being blasted open from the force. Its contents were incinerated by the fireball, droids and crates alike.

"This is WS-7327 reporting krrrk krrrrk all on board Kinr- krrrrrrshk detonating charges in six, five, fou- shhhhkrrrrrk"

The commander on the ship's internal communication cut out before finishing its transmission. As blaster fire began coming their way again, Talus motioned for his squad to move off the street, with each of them heading for an alleyway to avoid the incoming fire. He opened communications with his fellow WS droids in the area, hoping to eliminate further losses.

"WS-6687 cover the rear. I will take point with WS-3340. To all dropships in the area our position is too densely covered to land further ships without significant risk. I calculate approximately 88.93 percent probability of further losses should landings be attempted. Maintain aerial patrol around my beacon and eliminate hostiles on rooftops."

"This is WS-1121, deck officer on Kinrath 1-4, your orders are received and understood. Enacting defensive pattern Delta."

"Process the safest route from our position to the spaceport and cross-reference with the quickest route."

It took less than eight seconds for the WS droid to come up with a response.

"Continue east for three blocks. Turn north for six blocks and then east again for seven. This will keep you away from the more prominent areas of observed rebel activity."

"Understood 1121. Resume defensive pattern."

"No hostiles spotted at the rear," 6687 stated as they began their march. "Estimated probability of rear assault 44.22 percent."

"Excellent. Maintain vigilance and keep up. There is significant territory between us and our goal and significant amounts of potential hostiles."

Tavi stood by and watched as Marina and Kur embraced each other like father and daughter. It astounded him the bound that the two had. His mind couldn't quite process it or understand why. Yet, he did not question it. It was good that they came here first to these people. They were good and deserved their aid. Plus, it felt good to eat with Kur's family. It had been a while since Tavi had eaten with company that wasn't mechanical. It also has been a long time since he had been invited into another's home.

As Kur and Marina finished their embrace, the man walked up to Tavi. He again looked at Tavi up and down, and then stuck his hand out. Tavi took it with no hesitation and shook it.

"It was a pleasure to meet a warrior like you. I wish we would have met under different circumstances. I would have liked to tested your might, show you our land." Kur said.

"I would have enjoyed that...but we have to move fast and quick. The sooner people get these supplies, the better. For them and for us."

"Agreed." Kur said "Well I wish you safe travels, steady aim, and sharp blades"

"We not trying to kill anyone Kur."

"Shame on you Tavi...A warrior must do what he must for those that he protects." Kur said as he started to walk away.

"....Understood." Tavi said with a nod of his head, as he watched Kur walk away.

He eventually went back to the ship with Marina and sat next to they set for their next destination.

"They are good people....I am glad we broke bread with them. A little peace and quiet before we face the storm is always good." Tavi said with his helmet on.

"Now we must prepare...next time we get out, we do together...and I'm taking my rifle. Set to Stun of course." Tavi said as he leaned into his seat.

She wasn't sure they believed her. She wasn't sure they wouldn't kill them all right there. She had been taught to be kind until kindness failed. These men looked desperate and dangerous.

But like her father as she imagined many of them were fathers, husbands, grand parents. She imagined they only wanted to help their families.

"I'm Maeve" She looked again to the men surrounding her.

She started inching to her right pushing the men to make a hole for her to pass, slipping through she motioned for them to come. "Back here." She turned hoping that nothing would happen, hoping that this was enough to make a start.

She then pointed to a door, "we have rations, and food kits. My father hated rations." She was talking for the sake of hearing her own voice and praying it wouldn't crack under pressure.

"My father was killed a few months ago during a war." She didn't cry this time she'd save it for later like always. "I lost an Aunt, and many friends to war." She pulled the door open. "I know" she turned, "Every family gets a box today. I have another ship arriving tomorrow with more. We help each other. We will get through this because we have to." She stepped in and grabbed a box her tiny frame hefted it with no problem then she turned offering it to the man with the giant paws like her father.

"For as long as it takes."

He looked at her and just couldn't get passed the hints of emotion in her voice, and how much she looked like his daughter.

"Ok" he said, "but the moment it looks like you've broken your word. You are my prisoner, and your ship spoils of war." He nodded.

"ok agree" Damn if she lost her mother's ship that her father had given her as a present she'd be dead.Feth. But she knew she wasn't planning to break her word.

"I'll handle this" She looked to the group, "If you can show the medics where they can set up we will see to anyone who needs help"

It was an uneasy peace based purely on emotion, how long would it last?

"We're not good at making friends."

Rifle slung across one shoulder, the one Delila mentally called the 'good one' for now. Eyes squinted at the abundant sunshine, not having any measure of sun since the Gold Beaches of Corellia. Not that they had been travelling long but eyes had long adjusted to the artificial lighting of the Dahlia. Considering the environment they were in the wary glances in their direction were expected, wide berth was given. Her ears were on high alert, trying to pick up any explosions or blaster fire that could be happening in the short distance. A small burst of blaster fire could be heard - blocks away if she had to guess.

Judging on body language alone the situation was still tense.Unlike a battle, unrest and uprising could last for days if not weeks. Force forbid it turn into months. Every single day something of this nature dragged on it would only snowball. Pick up new supporters. Gain new sympathies were none were before. From the sparse information she had, Delila was confident the uprising could be minimized quickly once enough bodies were in place.

Hand extended in greeting towards the large Wookie.

"Greetings Representative Errreembuhr. I'm Delila Castillon, security consultant for the Royal House of Alderaan. This is an associate of mine, Captain Xin Boa. Would have been here a little sooner but we had been called to Alderaan first. I'm afraid the situation is extremely dire." Gaze looked around the newly secured port. "Excellent job of securing the port. I'm merely here to offer support, if you want to throw us in the right direction."

Delila wasn't here to take over. Wasn't her job. Technically much of that fell on Director Dovarak, yet she hadn't heard from him since before Alderaan fell. With his fate uncertain she would just pick up and take orders as needed under a local command. Eyes stopped on Xin for a moment and she offered a small 'see, things are fine' smile before turning back to the Wookie.
