Dirge of the Sun
The Galactic Alliance woman matched Corvo's pace to walk alongside him. She began with small talk, explaining her tardiness for the games. Corvo didn't care though, but not out of disinterest. It was common knowledge that events didn't usually start until several minutes after the ticket time. The events were well into it, but there was still much to go. Zonia then nonchalantly brought up the source of her trouble: the lack of direct travel routes from Sullust to Avalonia. It was something to be looked into at a later time."
"Your personal involvement in resolving the seating issue is much appreciated. But I hate to bother you with such trivialities... I am sure one of your officers could escort me to my designated seat.", Zonia said. Her tone sounded as if she was looking to evade him. Corvo's curiosity turned into suspicion.
Suddenly halting near one of the seating terminals, Corvo turned to face Kalranoos. There was a stormtrooper on both sides of the terminal, no doubt providing uniformed security for the events taking place.
"So, Miss Kalranoos. Your seat was ticketed out to someone else due to a processing error, and you presume to contact the Director of the Security Bureau?", Corvo said, his courteous tone yielding to a sharper, more inquisitive one. Another stormtrooper walked to join them, standing a couple feet behind the Minister of Security. It may have presented an imposing presence, but Corvo was in the business of security. Calling for one of the highest profile men in the First Order to resolve a trivial seating error was a bit suspect. He turned slightly to whisper in the stormtrooper's audio input system before turning back to Zonia.
"Is that the story we're going to go with?", he asked, placing another piece of popcorn into his mouth, an eyebrow raised.
