HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Back on Godo, every two years, a predictable rain storm would come in and provide an extremely rainy month, one that rejuvenated the planet and brought life. Whenever the Prov Godoans settled on Ord Providence in 4 ABY, they would come to miss this regular occurrence, a symptom of their newfound homesickness. As they expanded their domes and began to regulate their own internal weather patterns, the people of Ord Providence chose to artificially recreate this phenomenon to fill their streets with rain once again. Now, every two years starting from 16 ABY to the present day, people flock to the rainy streets to celebrate this ancient recreation of life and good-tidings from their Goddess in a large parade known as the Parade of Spirits while a lavish banquet is held in their house of worship.
