That last sentence put Rylan to a dead halt. "I'm... I'm a father?" He was speechless. For a moment, his face was one of pure shock, but it then quickly turned to a small smile, real and genuine. "We had a kid?" Tears came to his eyes, but he remembered where they were. The time to think about that would come, but first, they were both here for a reason. "I'll have to see him, you know. But after this. I can't be distracted right now... Of course, he's safe right? You have someone watching over him?" His protective side kicked in; he had to make sure his family was safe above all else.

Upon leaving his ship he was welcomed by the sounds of battle. All around him rang the sounds of blasters and blades, energy and not, clashing. His metal boots crashed against the metal loading ramp making a echo pulse through the hanger, but was quickly silenced by the room's battle. A rouge trooper fired off some rounds at Arancus. Arcanus gave the trooper a side glanced and used the Force to unsheath a blade and countered two rounds and sent the last round back to strike down the trooper.

The thing about the chaos of battle was that a calm mind could see that the battle distracted people and thus he could just walk through without much resistance. His first sight was a door that was forced open with a Sith Lord. He entered the hallway only to be embraced by a napalm missile. While the Sith Lord took the bulk of the attack, some cascaded past the energy shield and onto Arcanus. His beskar took the napalm, but didn't bend or break to the napalm, but cloth of the robes were burnt and singed. Arancus used a hand to wipe off the napalm, but beskar made all this look more impressive than it was. Having armor made to take high temperatures and damage was a bit of a cheat, but then again it also made someone feel invincible and thus makes them weak.

Arancus walked up to the larger Sith Lord, "Darth Vornskr, why are you wasting your time on someone like this? Please, give me the pleasure of taking care of this for you. I am sure you have much more important things." As Arancus spoke, his voice spoke something was thrown off. Until now it was assumed Arancus was male, but upon speaking it was not a male's voice, but a female's voice that came out. A voice that was commanding, cold, but also calm.

Mira sensed it coming, it wasn’t hard.

The tremor in the Force rippled like a cataclysmic wave impacting the core of her being. Sure, it wasn’t a telekinetic punch, or a grip, or even a bolt of lightning – but it was something in her direction. Instinct took over, and from there – all hell broke loose. Mira reacted, as her right foot extended back, shoving the rather obnoxious droid backwards and from the concentrated path of Force energy. It was a simple feat, and one achievable with minimal effort. The sound of a droid squealing and objecting to his Master echoed through the room as he flew into a small pile of empty crates with a thunderous crash.

But she didn’t stop there.

Her left hand would rotate forward, remaining in the air. A gesture that would be anything but subtle. She would bend the Force to her will, calling it to her aid in her time of need. The vortex of swirling energies that pooled between the living, that bound them to this Universe answered in kind. A stack of boxes to at her side would shake and then abruptly burst forth, in a violent manner. The energy of the Force answering the call of the Master – projecting the metal cases through the air in an array of scattered debris.

A mere distraction that allowed Mira to drop back, hands dropping from the air and to her back. Fingers grasped the metal casing of her hilts as she spun on her heels, pulling free both hilts from their confines. Arms would extend, blades would ignite and fill the room with the all too familiar sound of energized weaponry coming to life.

‘SNAP-HISS’

Mira would come to rest in a modified Posta di fenestra (window guard) stance, her right foot was back behind her at a forty-five-degree angle, while the left was in front and canted inwards. She held the Prophecy in her right hand, horizontal and pointed towards Onley and Velok. The blade of the Destiny pointed behind her, the top of her left hand touched her right elbow. She narrowed her eyes as she stared down the shimmering blade of the Prophecy.

The stage was set and the actors were ready – now it was time for the show.

Tendrils of what seemed to be black smoke creeped to Causstik and engulfed his body. They crept there way through the seems of his armor searching for bare skin, as they found the seal between his neck and helmet they forced themselves inwards. Upon contact Causstik began to feel weak, he fell to his knees. He attempted to lift his arms, but it felt like lifting lead. Through sheer strength of will Causstik managed to tap a button on his utility wrist and activated his shield generator. The smoke was pushed away from his body and he gradually began to feel his strength return.

As Causstik rose from the ground he saw that another Sith had approached. She spoke not to Causstik, but she spoke of him. Perhaps she hears them to Causstik wondered? Then he realized the new arrival spoke to the larger Sith. A lackey no doubt... Well if she was going to pretend like Causstik wasn't hear and just talk over him he'd take the opportunity to attack. He heard the all to familiar voices in his head. Do it.. Strike now!!! Causstik smiled revealing a large set of pointy teeth and then he threw his make shift spear. Even in his weakened state Causstik was still stronger then most people and the spear flew forward at unbelievable speeds. [member="Arcanus Ignis"]

As he strode toward the hallway that led to the research facility, Alkor was stopped by a man with confidence in his voice, and a crimson blade in his grasp. His azure eyes moved over the man as he prompted the former Jen'jidai to dismiss his following and assert that the ship ought to be picked over like a carcass. It was an amusing prospect at best, one meant for vagabonds and vagrants- people like he had been, once.

He motioned to [member="Keira Ticon"] to move forward toward the facility. "Go on ahead," he told the woman in a quiet voice. "Isley wanted that data, but only one of us is needed for extraction and you've got an AI to do the legwork."

All the while, the fuel cell finally caught. (Attn: Hangar Bay-) In an instant, the Force rippled and the burning ship became a pyroclasm. Large shards of metal, various circuitry and transparisteel were rocketed outward in every direction. The raw concussive force of the gas ignition tore through the hangar and threatened to send anyone caught in it flying. Alkor rooted himself in place with the Force as his newfound opponent stared him down and tilted his head in bemused defiance. The heat from several large chunks of destroyed dropship clattered to the floor nearby, and residual heat from the fires illuminated the man's demonic smirk.

"It is always a pleasure," the Corellian Exile spoke a bit louder over the sound of crackling flames, "when someone offers themselves up to die."

He ceded opening to the other man- there was a certain thrill to offering a man the chance to fight for his life. Alkor twisted the hilt of his weapon and pulled it into its two halves, spinning the hilts until both blades grazed over the metallic floor.

The ships ramp when down with a thud. But it wasn't really noticed because of all of the other noise. His backpack was full of explosives, and his computer. Now to get to a terminal. The ship sealed behind him, and its anti-intruder mechanisms went online. Adson set of running through the maze of ships. He kept his head low, and hoped no one saw him, Not that he was expecting trouble, you just never knew. It was always better to keep out of sight. Adson reached the locked doors of room 3. Why no one was going here, he didn't know. He examined the doors and doorways. Nothing, not even a socket for an R2 unit. There must be some other terminal around here. But from the sounds, Adson didn't really feel like going into that hell. Still, perhaps there was a better option. Now if only he could get the attention of a guy with a lightsaber. He doubted a lightsaber could penetrate the door, but there were always other cards to play.

Arancus watched in pleasure as the poison consumed the lizard person. It was fascinating really, Arancus always did find Vornskr's abilities to be fascinating. She continued her observation on the ability, unsure if this was a Force ability or a natural ability. She looked at the attack it's effect on the being. It seemed to be a custom version of Force absorb. Looking over at the Sith Lord, Arancus changed her mind to Force Drain, an ability she never learned.

Surprisingly, the lizard decided they weren't going to die easily and had the goul to throw a spear at Arancus. She considered many counters in the time it took to close the distance. She could sidestep, blast it with the Force, incinerate it, let it break across her nice armor -- or -- She watched it fly and calculated it's trajectory and the speed at which it was moving the the strength needed to catch it. Before she would act, she thought, could an acolyte in anyway catch a spear? Maybe one thrown from a knight they would have no chance, but this, this was no Knight or trained Mandalorian. Her hand rose and as the tip of the spear entered within a few inches of her chest, he hand grasped it and stopped it. She did not apply the needed force to stop it instantly so it moved through her hand and the tip pressed against her armor. An Acolyte was prone to mistakes, even slight.

She brought the spear down, "Why can't a prey notice when they are beaten?" The spear in her hand began to spark and a weak amount of Force Lightning covered the blade, but still enough to finish the job that was beneath the great Sith Lord. She spun the spear and launched it back at Rahn at the same speed it left. She wanted to play, but would not draw her weapons unless the Lord gave permission. A good Acolyte knew her place and would not overstep her bounds until they knew they could without resistance. The weak served the strong and the Sith were manipulators.

Valashu continued to heft piece after piece, all that he could guess were of use. His sack was now growing larger and larger, heavier and heavier. Finally though he used the Gauntlet, then channeled power into the air, lifting the sack as if it was nothing. Stepping back into the hangar, he aimed, drew back, then let fly the massive thing toward the ship he had arrived on.

He would pick it up when he was leaving.

Next, he turned back, surprised to find there was also another door past the one he had been in. Should he take it? Or the hall? He chose the hall. Down the long corridor he charged, still hidden by the White Current. Finally though he entered through the opening at the end, leading around to find there were lining containers along the walls. Inside he could guess were droids, and in the center of the room stood tables of odd sizes and makes.

Everything happened at once, the droid’s shrieking beeps of protest initiating adrenaline that seemed to slow time. The metal crates lifted, their glinting in the harsh lights of the station catching Onley’s periphery enough to immediately push him in to a decision. Taking control of the Force he sprinted forward, a blur dashing underneath crates that would no doubt have crushed him entirely had he been too slow. It was all a distraction, and well-placed, but Onley was barreling towards her at the kind of speed that would hopefully have him on top of her before she could truly settle in to her defensive stance.

Though it was unbeknownst to him that the Jedi had caught his surname, she most likely would wonder if she’d just had something in her ears when he settled in to attack her. He was entirely his father, a brutal tank of a man that fought with nothing held back and used the Force to augment his strength - make his punches harder, the swing of his lightsaber like running in to a wall. He burned bright and hot.

Her guard was tight and left her many ways to cleave his head from his shoulders, but he pressed the advantage of his speed. She was clearly far more skilled with the Force than him, leaving him to brute strength. His speed didn’t leave him much in the way of room to maneuver but he drew the sword across his body, saber up in his left hand as a guard to her swinging around while the sword reached for her in his right, aimed at her hip. A good slice either above, below, or dead center would start the process of bleeding her out to weaken her.

Velok lacked the boy's mobility. As Xiangu sprinted through the wave of metal cases and debris, Velok raised his hand. His two fingers and thumb splayed.

If the girl, the little prodigy, had sustained her focus on the projectiles, he couldn't have resisted her. As it stood, however, she'd shifted her attention to a melee stance, and Xiangu had moved to engage her immediately. The heaviest and most directly targeted of the crates slowed to a halt in front of Velok's palm. Glancing blows pummeled him. He lost his grip: the crates fell to the deck in front of him and skidded a few inches.

He stepped up onto them, took a deep breath, and reached out again.

By far the largest deposit of supplies in here lay on huge shelves against the wall to his left. They were stacked high, almost to the ceiling. His lightsabre flickered out and back again, slicing through the supports between three layers of shelves. A small avalanche of crates and packages sloughed off the tilting shelves to Mira's right. Xiangu would be put at risk as well, but the boy had excellent mobility. At a guess, like most young prodigies, the girl would be anxious to regain control, perhaps send the obstacles at Velok. The key thing here was to keep her switching her attention between long and short ranges, the Force, her body, two opponents -- create a state of distraction that Xiangu might be quick enough to exploit.

Causstik watched in disbelief as the Sith caught the spear, he thought for sure she wasn't paying attention. He raised an eyebrow as she spun and threw it back at him. The velocity wasn't nearly as fast, as how could a mere human match the genetically altered strength of the 7 foot tall Trandoshan, but it was imbued with lightning. Causstik flew upward with his jet pack and fired at the sith with his DL-44. The makeshift spear landed with a thud sending electricity arcing up the walls.

Then explosions rocketed through the hallway sending anyone in it flying. Some arse outside was firing into the hallway with a blasted ship! She's going to kill us all! Causstik heard the familiar voice in his head shout. "[member="Kami Meran"] stop! You're going to kill us all!" Causstik hissed in to his comm-link.

Adson walked towards the other end of the hangar where there was some commotion. He turned and watched down the hallway as a Trandoshan and Meran fought with a Sith. They're crazy. He shook his head. He swore softly as someone started using a ship in combat inside the hangar. He hoped his own would survive. "Will you two cut out that blasted explosion nonsense and use your heads!', he snarled at them. "No one is going to get a damn thing done if your blowing the place to pieces! Now everyone get the hell over here, and let's get into room 3!" Sneering with disgust at their illogical behavior, Adson left the doorway to the hall and back over too the door to 3. He could a deal with the Sith, and maybe the Trandoshan too. He also needed Kami to back him up. This plan would work to get in, without going into the chaos that was the rest of the station. He sighed. He should have stayed on Corellia. Now if he could get that Sith to open up the wall for him, it would profit them all, then they go blow this place, and leave everyone else to blow themselves up.

The smoke dissipated as another Sith entered the fray, pledging their aid to the Dark Lord to hold back these miscreants. However; this one addressed him by his abandoned former name Darth Vornskr, which caused a guffaw to ring through the air.

"Fight them if you must."

He returned his attention to the smoldering door, which by now was practically all molten metal as the power being thrust into it continued to churn with unnaturally heat. After another hard twist on the blade, the door began to sludge outward and spill onto the floor, burning and melting everything it came into contact with. Carnifex, however, didn't seem worried about the ever encroaching molten slag and as he took a step towards it a hole large enough for his foot manifested in the scalding concoction, conjured by his own mastery of the Force. Each step was similar, and a path opened up before him as the last remnants of the door finally clattered down behind him. But he was not yet done with what he had wrought, and with a flick of both wrists the puddle spewed upward to the ceiling of the corridor, and after a moment of suspension the bubbling mass solidified into a hardened wall.

It was a simple trick by manipulating the molecules within the mess via Sith Alchemy alongside some practiced telekinesis to fling it upward. Now he wouldn't be bothered by those whelps any longer, although the explosions and blasts just beyond the barrier was a tad worrying, but that was for another time. It was only him and the Jedi now, but who knew how much of the information she'd managed to pilfer in the time it had taken him to bypass the droogs outside. There was an easy method to figure that out, however; and Carnifex produced a small cylindrical device from the confines of his armor. He pressed a button and a spike jutted out from the flat end he held away from his body. With a small application of the Force he flung it at the nearest terminal, and the device embedded itself within the electronic mechanisms hidden within.

At that moment the spike released a cloud of nanites into the terminal it was currently stuck in, and while these small mechanical microbes were utterly harmless to Humans they would serve the Dark Lord well in subverting any defensive protocols and the artificial intelligence employed by the Knight. Through his mastery of Mechu-Deru by the way of Belia Darzu's holocron, Carnifex could manipulate the nanites to infect all nearby machinery and override any existing programs with his own through a physical and wireless contagion. Within moments the Jedi Knight's A.I would find itself besieged on all sides by this dark intrusion while others not committed to depriving or outright stealing the information the Knight had already collected began to collect what information had not yet been accessed at an exorbitant rate. It wasn't often that Carnifex had to resort to his old Imperial Agent training to get a leg up on the enemy, but when that opportunity arose he found none of his skills in the fields of slicing and computer knowledge had eroded over the decades.

Now with that matter attended to he could focus on the Jedi elephant in the room, and slowly his gaze swooped over to bore into Cathbodua. "End of the line, Jedi. There is no escape."

She had been sticking at it, working on many of the things here in the room while wiating until the computer finished. The bar completing and the tac pad there covered with her suit before the doors opened and she looekd at the with lord as he started using the darkside. Her own skills with it not needed but she worked on the area around her. Her own aura while she looked at him from behind the face mask with the polarized eyes before setting off the caltrops to slag the room. Her sewn in circlet protecting like it was made to from things in the air which would be manites and the explosives that were slagging the room that she had spent the time to go after and hack were going as she ran. "Maybe."

The jedi knight moved with the explosions and focused the force, the augmentation of her armor and the stamina training she and jericho did in the gravity rooms so they could last longer then most was well worth it before she moving letting the grapple loose so she could catch an area and jerk herself forward faster staying ahead of the explosion to get back into the hall with the others. when she was moving. The circlets shield keeping the smallest of things out of the air and the explosives were made to burns everything metal in the room and air. The AI's had plenty of places to be and work so a small datapad that had them in it was not a problem.

Moving back as she slid along the floor into a run and going towards Jericho as she switched weapons in the toolkit to the cryoban sprayer to freeze the floor below herself then slid quickly to the other door though. That was one of the things that could help, a quickl swap to the plasma projector to make a small super heated ball towards the floor to splash it for a few moments longer so she could move and start dodging around the area of the hanger when she spoke towards Jericho holding her armor out and letting the tora'yor with its palm crystal project a beam towards him. The device fit over her glove and the more force energy she could channel into and through the healing crystal worked to heal her at best test subject. "So how are those new implants and parts working out for you?"

CT-47B almost failed to expect it. The rogue mandalorian, charging down through the blackened hallway with a terrifying zeal as shrapnel of glass and durasteel flew past his body, and the light from the hangar behind him faded into nothing. If he had been wearing a helmet capable of seeing in low light conditions. Ordo would have eventually noticed the thick barricade of metal crates, and the Stormtrooper's helmet peering out from behind them with the barrel of his X-11E sonic rifle pointed down the narrow hall. One he was close, CT-47B pulled the trigger and with a huge boom each time, released two powerful, circular sonic blasts with a diameter of 150cm. The immense kinetic energy of the wave scrambling at the walls as it would slam towards Ordo's body with enough force to burst eardrums, shatter bone, rupture organs and ultimately kill. Despite this, CT-47B would be shocked when the man passed over him. The tankish brute of muscle and power and flesh having managed to continue inside the research station and murder a scientist in cold blood despite any injuries he might have received. Once inside the brightly lit lab, Ordo would have noticed the dangerous collection of Sith and Knigths of Ren, and CT-47B would aim back down the hall. Offering only a shout of warning to those inside that an enemy had breached his defensive perimeter.

Rylan nodded, relieved that his son was in good care. Now that he knew the child was safe however, it was time to bring his mind back to reality. Mentally switching his thoughts to his surroundings, he heard an explosion coming from the other side of the hangar. With a start, he turned toward the sound to see a strange looking female escaping the blast with various tools. Without a second thought, he took off into a sprint, leaving Nef behind. Making a quick observation of the woman, he could sense that, despite her strange appearance, they were on the same team; she was a Jedi. Offering his hand to her, he motioned to the door. "Having fun I see?"
