- Modular Payload: The Exodus II, like its predecessor, is capable of a wide variety of load outs for its bomb bays, missile launchers, and multipurpose racks. Practically all of these modular attachments are of high yield and high destructive capabilities.
- Advanced Targeting Computer: Consisting of the most advanced targeting systems available to the Sith Empire, the Exodus II can unleash its monstrous fury with extreme precision; rarely missing its intended mark.
- Lumbering: While noticeable faster and more maneuverable than its predecessor thanks to refitted engines and reorganized interior space, it is still slower than most other starfighters and atmospheric vehicles.
- Low Deployment: Exodus IIs are deployed in small squadrons of four because of their importance in a planetary invasion and the strategy of not deploying all high yield bombers in a single group. They typically require other squadrons as an escort on bombing runs.
The Sith Empire had utilized the Exodus-class Strategic Bombers of Jaegar Solutions for most of its planetary surface military campaigns, from the Battle of Thyferra to the Sacking of Coruscant and everything between and beyond. Immensely satisfied with its effectiveness, but not so pleased with having to rely on an unreliable fringe corporation for the rights to use such a vessel, the Emperor and his council began work on an eventual successor.
It came in the form of the Exodus II-class Strategic Bomber, which utilized the same exterior design but made great strides with updated internal equipment, updated targeting computers, and was entirely produced by the Empire's own hand.
Gradually as more of the Exodus IIs were built, they would begin to phase out the older Exodus Is. Those that were rendered obsolete would be broken down by molecular furnaces and reconstituted as building materials for new Exodus IIs.
