Evil Was Never Meant to Be [ASK]

Having made his return to the Jedi Order, Josiah Denko once more busied himself with the affairs that were given to him. For the first time in ages, he felt a sense of fulfillment; like a lost child finally returned home. To say that the Master had missed the hallowed halls of the Coruscanti temple was an understatement. As such, this day in particular was spent with his tutelage of a classroom of younglings in the basics of lightsaber combat. Being a rather capable duelist himself, he gladly accepted the task of imparting his knowledge to the next generation; but found himself interrupted by a message that captivated his attention. The Jedi raised his hand, halting the instruction for a moment before tapping the beeping comm affixed to his forearm...and when he heard the message, his eyebrow raised with intrigue.

Turning to his fellow instructors, the Master gave a simple order to keep the Younglings in the classroom whilst he attended to the Temple's newest trio of visitors; and straightway the Jedi strode swiftly through the halls of the Temple. As each step bore him nearer and nearer to the Archives where the trio were located, Josiah felt as though he was swimming in a pool of pristine light. Though he could not see this light with his own eyes, it was...an almost indescribable feeling. Yet, with each step, he felt the taint of the Dark Side; as if some infant had decided to drop their swim trunks and relieve themselves within the pool's waters. Already, the Jedi had a strong, deep-rooted desire to see the Darkness purged from the face of the Galaxy...but now there were three foolish enough to step into the home of the Jedi Order?

How foolish could they get?

Upon rounding the corner and entering the main hall, Josiah noticed a woman who was hastily headed for the exit of the Temple. As instructed by Master Dista, the Gatekeepers had already begun the process of sealing the Temple doors. There was no quick escape to be found for her, as she would find herself facing a cadre of guards, lightsabers drawn, and thick, blast doors barring her exit. What's more, Josiah was now on the scene and his attention was split between the woman attempting to flee and the two others who were present. One was boldly striding forward, addressing Master Dista whilst the other remained at the Archive terminal. Call it the experience gained from chasing down criminals and slavers whilst within the Confederacy twenty-four, seven; but Josiah had adopted a rather simple policy when dealing with unsavory company...

Reaching for his utility belt, he loosed the first of three sabers hanging there and slid his finger over the ignition. Snap. Hiss. A blade of golden plasma surged into existence and was leveled in the direction of the woman who now found herself standing between blast doors and guards on one end, and Josiah on the other. "Halt." he demanded. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

As Carn's post clearly stated, the order was given to close off the Temple. There is no way that Circe would be able to just slip through the front door when a member of the Council has ordered it closed.

Vulpesen looked around his room, stretching and relaxing in the simple bed that the jedi had provided him with. Surrounded by animals, scrolls and holocrons, Vulpesen was at home. "Well Ace, we finally get a break!" After weeks of hard missions and helping the jedi clean up after the mess left from the empire's disbanding, the jedi was finally getting some much needed R&R, or so he thought. He was just on the edge of dozing off when his com terminal beeped with that annoyingly demanding tone. "No! No, no, no, NO!" Getting up he walked towards the terminal, muttering to himself. "If this isn't a party invite, or a congratulations, I swear on Rurrri and Suuru, I'm stabbing whatever sith spawn deemed it right to ruin my day off!" As he clicked the open message button, his eyes scrolled through the message, slowly building up a terrible(but jedi acceptable) rage. "OH, COME ON!" He slammed his fist into the terminal and cast a piercing gaze to Ace who instantly lowered himself as if to say Don't blame it on me! "Ace, go rally who you can, I want this to be done for in time for a nap.

Minutes later, the temple itself seemed to crawl, fly, and hop as animals from chitliks to nexus moved out of the nooks and crannies. Vulpesen's own room seemed to burst as a plethora of small creatures burst out of his room, showing their master's distaste. The shadow had slowly built up this army throughout his life, bonding with animal after animal, each of which followed him to the temple where he personally fed and hid them until he could find a way to break the bond they shared. With one of Coruscant's biggest buildings, hiding some well trained animals wasn't that hard.

Surrounded by a small army of two hundred creatures, varying from chitliks, to kreehawks, to kath hounds with a few special creatures such as Akk Dogs, and Nexus, the jedi was ready to defend his home and his day off. Searching the temple, Vulpesen employed squads of five kath hounds to sniff out the darkside as well as an Akk dog, Nexu, kathhound, and a few kreehawks to the temple entrances. Finally turning his attention to the sentient forces, Vulpesen tapped into a jedi com channel. "Torrevaso here, where are the pieces of poodoo who tried to get into our home." With a wave of his hand, he dispersed the other animals in organized squads to fight the sith should they encounter them.
