Evil Was Never Meant to Be [ASK]

ACTIIFINALE_zpsedb52ea0.jpg

WHO AM I?

I mean, what kind of question is it? People know who they are, right? Well, I don’t. Only recently I have started thinking about who I actually am. Maybe I am not the person I think I am? I have realized, that something controls my life, but I’m not sure what the thing is. Maybe it’s… destiny? I have so many questions, but no one to answer them. Now it’s time to start looking for them myself. I don’t depend on others. They are other people and I am someone else. They don’t know me, neither do they know me. But why does it look like others are more important to me?

I AM WEAK!

That’s what I have been told. I have understood it. Many times. People don’t understand who I am. Well, I don’t understand them either, but… Everyone thinks I am not good enough to exist. They think only strong survive. But having emotions, weaknesses, love… is something that actually makes people strong. It doesn’t matter how powerful you are or how much influence you have in a certain area… Everything that matters is your strongest weakness, the one which makes you afraid, the one, which makes you exactly the person you are. Without it, everybody is a soul who has nothing to do in this galaxy. And by that, I mean… Jasmine.

THE TRAGEDY!

That’s the only thing that I certainly know about my past. It was something which changed both my and Jasmine’s lives. Why did it have to happen? Why? I’m not a bad person, neither is Jazzy. Of course I am a Darksider. But it shouldn’t matter. It’s just the way how I use the Force. The way, how I see the Force. Sith are good. The Republic is good. Everyone is good. But people think others are bad. Why? Is there a reason behind this?

MY PAST…

Now I stand on Coruscant, in front of the Jedi Temple. I have avoided this building for a long time. Now it’s finally the right time to come back and see, what people are doing. I don’t know who is the Jedi Grandmaster. I don’t know who is in the High Council. But I know they have become warmongering beasts, not better than the Empire was. Yes, the Empire was destroyed. By them. Jedi are not what they used to be. Where is meditation, peace? They seek to destroy all other power to make sure the Republic starts controlling the whole galaxy. But is it the right way? Why have Jedi changed so radically? I have learned, that they used to be people who meditated, studied the Force, wrote scrolls and other texts which talked about the Jedi life or the knowledge of the Force and only rarely fought. They fought against little criminals, not against whole empires. They are definitely not better than the Empire was. But that’s not why I am here. I came to find knowledge about… who I am.

WHO AM I?

This powerful question...

Typically, there was absolutely no way for Circe to be on the planet Coruscant. But this time, there were three layers of disguise Circe had chosen to utilize. The first was clothing - today, she wore a veil that covered her entire face below her eyes, which she wore purple contacts in. Her skin was as naturally human as she could make it, a bit paler than normal , but still quite within the right skin tone. She appeared exceptionally generic - and to top it off, her experience in False Light Side Aura was currently coming into play, allowing for her to appear both far weaker than she actually was and far lighter than she actually was. There was no usage of the White Current - no rationale for her ripple in it to be detected over anyone else's. She was simply there.

There and easily sensing the disturbance in the Force Lilith's presence seemed to cause.

She certainly wasn't the only one here. There were likely others here as well whose rationale for being around centered on the Vinithi's student who was currently standing at the Temple's entrance. Because of Lilith being here, Circe needed to, at the least, make sure Lilith didn't do anything wrong, and at the most, make sure that she didn't do something she would regret later.

The flutter of a sleeve rippling in the air joined the sounds of Coruscanti people and traffic passing by and overhead. It was rolled up to the stump that was left of his right arm, the other half severed on Tund during his encounter with the secret cult on that particular planet. Thankfully, Vilox Pazela's left arm was fine, having survived his duel with the Sorcerers of Tund. The Dark Master lifted his gaze from the duracrete beneath his feet, lifting his yellow predatory eyes along the steps leading up to the Jedi Temple. Slowly, he began to ascend the steps, towards the woman he was here for. Another possibility to join the following that he was creating. The cowl of his dark robes lifted over his head, he did not fear what was ahead. It would prove to be an interesting encounter, to say the least.

Lilith took a deep breath and stepped into the building. She didn't cloak her Force-Sensitivity or anything. She had come to the Temple, being completely corrupted. But it wasn't a problem. She had to know who she is and nobody would stop her from doing that. Not even Jedi who probably sensed the corruption from the other side of Coruscant. Alright, obviously she hadn't landed that far from the Temple. Actually, her ship stood near the entrance of the building. She didn't care about it enough to hide it somewhere or anything. She was still... an emotionless monster.

As she looked around, she sensed powerful Light Side energy. The Force was strong in this holy building. Being here again felt so much different. The last time she was here, she was still a Padawan and knew nothing about the Force. She wasn't even able to perform a simple Force Pull ability, which, like she had heard, was one of the first things young Jedi learned. Well, of course after Force Sense powers.

Not knowing where to go, Lilith just wandered around and smiled as she touched the things which she had good memories of. Everything here made her smile, which was... kind of strange, because an emotionless beast wouldn't miss anything like that so much. And the fact, that the Sith woman was heavily corrupted, made it even crazier.

But steps were heard from the seemingly empty hallways. These belonged to a person Lilith had never heard of. It was a Jedi Knight, not a too powerful one.

Vilox came to a stop at the top of the stairs, to find two individuals waiting at the mouth of the temples entrance. He lifted his gaze to the various statues of Jedi long past, that stood towering over the path leading up to the entrance. He was reminded by history at this point. Another Force-sensitive, rich in the dark side of the Force, had once traveled along this path towards the Jedi Order. But the difference between Darth Malgus and Vilox Pazela was that, one came forth as a conqueror and the other came as a liberator. But whom was the Dark Master liberating?

He came to a stop behind Lilith and Circe, although in the case of the latter he presently hadn't a clue as to who she was and said in a low voice, "I guess I am not the only dark sider to come see the Jedi."

Circe attempted particularly hard to ignore Vazela. She was completely in disguise on the Jedi's holiest ground. If she was identified, the Chancellor would have her ass for dinner. But it was okay, as no one was here. Smiling , she followed Lilith into the temple, looking through the Jedi history for a Master or Knight she could safely imitate. At last, she found one, giving a soft smile as her face shifted to look like a human Jedi from ages back.

"Miss? I am Miralina Unduli, Jedi Knight and daughter of Kiyara and Michel Unduli. What may I assist you with today?"

Lilith, not understanding, what's going on, just walked around the halls and enjoyed the beauty of this building. Though yes, a woman came to her and she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Where is the library?" She simply asked, not caring to be polite or anything. She was truly a monster. And the name made her almost laugh. Unduli, really? she thought. But she wasn't supposed to judge people by their names. Nobody should have done that.

"Please follow me, Miss Lancaster." Circe smiled, choosing to lead her to the library as she smirked below her veil. Her eyes looked over the Darksider as she and the woman entered the library facility. The archives were open and ready for Lilith or anyone else to access them. "Here is the library. I will stay here to assist you, as I have no further duties today."

It was a chance for her to look for herself, after all.

Vilox followed them through the Jedi Temple, hood very much still up, an obvious outsider who shouldn't be there. Eyes on Lilith, he remained silent, waiting for her to ask the obvious question. Something sounded familiar about the other woman as well, but without gazing upon her, he couldn't be sure.

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Equa Dominator"] @[member="Vilox Pazela"]

Lilith didn't even thank the woman when they finally arrived to the library. At first, she wanted to see, if there is anything cool about her family. But just as she started searching for something, she noticed a man following her and the Jedi woman. "Wait... who are you?" She didn't remember the man. Weird... the Sith thought. The point was, that she hadn't seen him before they reached the library. Maybe Lilith was too interested in everything around her so that she didn't noticed anything weird. Yes, probably that was the reason.

"My name is Vilox Pazela. I've come a long way to meet you and some others, here in this temple." He lifted his one, left arm to his hood and lowered it from his head, to reveal the spiked up, black hair that protruded from his scalp and the pale, yet youthful complexion on his face. A far cry to the man Circe Savan met on Charros IV.

"But before I continue, why are you here Lilith?"

@[member="Circe Savan"] @[member="Equa Dominator"] @[member="Vilox Pazela"]

"I have come here to find a certain document... Or something which contains information about a thing," Lilith spoke. Then she focused on the documents around her again. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Pazela." She took a document and inspected it. Speaking about past Jedi, the Sith Knight really hoped it contained information about her or her family. But... she didn't. Her family, besides Jasmine, didn't exist there. Almost panicking, Lilith took another one which had information about Coruscant. After finding out it mentioned nothing about her family, she started breathing faster. She felt strange.

"Umm... Miss Unduli, is there information about... the Lancaster family here?"

"I believe there is. Basic information about the families of all Jedi or former Jedi should be located within our database." This surprised her significantly. "Perhaps we should try another terminal. That one could be faulty, which could explain why the information you're looking for isn't found in it.

She continued trying to act like she didn't know Vilox.

Lilth shrugged, doubting that there is any information about her and her family, but maybe... if there really was... was she brave enough to read it? Walking to another terminal, the Sith woman felt like someone is watching her. Not just Vilox and the Jedi, but someone, a third one. The person's eyes didn't leave Lilith even when she reached the second terminal. The person was a bit away from the group, but not too far.

While searching for information, Lilith asked from Vilox: "Would you continue your speech about who you are, Mr. Pazela?"

| @[member="Darth Malificete"] |

"Who am I?" asked Vilox, walking a few yards behind the confused woman, for lack of better word, knowing that, indeed she was a Sith Knight, but not a Darth of the One Sith. He knew the former because of his time as a Sith Lord. "My name is Vazela; and as I said, I came here to meet with you and the Jedi in this temple. But the reason for why I came here to meet with you, Lilith?" The Dark Jedi came to a stop, leaning his head to the right. "I came here to offer you an opportunity."

It was only ever going to be a matter of time before the Jedi within the Temple became aware of their darker beings in the temple. Silently, and with absolute focus, several of the Jedi in charge of monitoring the comings and goings of the temple began to filter towards this potential threat. With their movement came whispers from shadows - whispers that quickly grew into a message that not only caught the ear, but also drew the attention of a member of the Jedi Council, who proceeded to alert his peers. Circe's false lighsided aura could never withstand the interior waves of lightsided force energy that permeated the Temple - after all, Darth Sidious himself could barely muster the ability enough to cloak himself and another across from the entrance of the temple. Sith Master she may have been, however Circe would soon find that even her abilities couldn't measure up against one of the largest lightsided Nexus' the Jedi had access to. And with the other Darksiders converging in a similar area, she, along with her companions, would be tracked down and apprehended. There would be no escape.

"My fellow Council Members. Send word to the Gatekeepers to seal the temple doors, and assist beginning a full sweep of the Temple... We have unwelcome guests." Carn's message was sent to his peers on the High Council. While he was their equal in position, he had been the first of them to take note of the message, and thus the first to spur people into action. Speed was of the essence here, especially with Darksided individuals loose within the Temple. With his message sent, he proceeded to take out his datapad, and upload a second message to all Jedi within the Temple. This second message warned all of three Non-Jedi individuals within the Temple, and issued instructions for their immediate detainment under the Republic laws surrounding the Jedi Temple.

Before anyone complains:
The Nexus, by canon, will negate your false lightsided aura, Circe. See also: "When Darth Maul was very young—so young that he would remember few memories prior to this—Darth Sidious took him to the Jedi Temple, both of them disguised as tourists. Sidious' command of the dark side was sufficient to keep both himself and Maul from being sensed by the Jedi, as long as they did not enter the Temple itself."
Sidious, arguably one of the strongest Sith Lords of all time, could just about mask himself and Maul when outside the temple. Inside he stood no chance, so it's doubtful that any character could.
Also: You're all walking into the Jedi Temple, like nobody is there whatsoever. You brought this on yourself.

Vilox Pazela tucked his hand into his robes and drew a commlink from it's confines, handing it to the secret Darth in front of him. "It has my comm frequency. Please, do get in contact if I have perked your interest. I have other business to attend to." Turning away from Lilith, the Dark Master began to walk the other way towards the Jedi Master in the horizon. Lifting the hood over his head, he concealed his facial features with it. Of course, there was CCTV, but Vilox Pazela was a master of subterfuge. He hadn't lifted his gaze at once. All the cameras would have caught would have been a darkened silhouette walking behind Lilith and the top of his black, spiked up hair, with his chalk white, pale skin.

Yellow predatory eyes gleaming, he came to a stop at the end of the hallway and lifted his chin to the old guard... the old enemy. "Hello Carn. It has been a very long time."

It was a good thing that Circe had read up on previous users of False Light Side Aura. She knew from her reading that such persons as Darth Zannah, a former Dark Lord of the Sith herself, had successfully used the power to infiltrate the Jedi Temple without being detected by even the facility's Masters. If Zannah was capable of doing it, than Circe certainly would not have been detected, unless some sort of nonsensical space magic allowed for someone to see through her abilities. But then again, that would be quite nonsensical. "Miss Lancaster, I would suggest that you kindly choose to leave the Temple. You are a wanted woman."

With a soft sigh, she turned away, exiting the temple, and generally getting the hell out of there before more guards came. After all, if there was a source of metagamium somewhere in the galaxy, she supposed it needed to be found.

And destroyed.

@[member="Vilox Pazela"] @[member="Carn Dista"] @[member="Darth Malificete"]

That was in reference to his usage of cloaking his Force Aura entirely. Not disguising himself as a lightsider. There is no canonical reference to a False Light Side Aura being overwhelmed by a Force Nexus. See also: "Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Zannah used this to infiltrate the Jedi Archives on in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Using this spell she fooled even Jedi Masters into thinking she was a follower of the light." Zannah, a Sith Lord far less powerful than Sidious in the Force, in no way suffered impairment of her abilities or of the False Light Side Aura itself.

"What do I do? How can I leave?" Lilith panicked. She tried to be as quiet as possible, but now that all Jedi knew they were here, it was really difficult to remain calm and think. She knew she was probably risking with her life when she came here to this holy Temple, but... The whole Jedi Order... Yes, there were two Darksiders here, but one of them was just a new Sith Knight and the other one, well, looked like a Master. Or was there somebody else in the Temple too? Were they... lurking around the place? Well, the man who had noticed these three people - Lilith, Vilox and the Jedi - may have been a Darksider too in Lilith's opinion, but of course she was wrong.

While waiting for a response, Lilith breathed really fast, even faster than before. She didn't feel quite well anymore, maybe fever or something was rising.

Yes, I know a Darksider can't just step into the Temple like a Jedi. That was actually the goal of this thread: they were going to get noticed, though not by a huge amount of Jedi, but only some people. It was supposed to involve a tiny duel between the few Jedi and the three people and it would've led up to the point when Lilith comes back to the Light Side.

Josh watched Circe leave from the shadows. He'd sensed her already, how stupid did she think she was, trying to barge into the Jedi Temple? He made sure an "escort" made sure she left the planet entirely...

But Carn had said there was two. One more then... Jedi would be swarming the area soon enough, on the hunt for this Sith.
