So this account has been active since early December 2012 but doesn't have the nifty founders color on it....Did I miss a thread to sign up or something? Part of some cool-kids circle I joined far too late in?

But I think there was a one time promotion that went on for the founders tag and you had to be here to request it and meet the cutoff time period once it ended it was done forever.

You had to have posted/requested it at the time in this thread in order to qualify for it, even if you were around at the time.

Alternatively you have to befriend an admin and do some sly stuff under the table (to account for the people who joined after February 2013 having founder tags).

You had to post in this thread to receive the Founder title: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/232-new-member-incentive-founder-rank/

Doesn't matter if you were a member during the duration of the thread. If you didn't post in it, you didn't receive the Founder rank. Members who are appointed Staff Administrators are the only exception to this rule, as one of their few perks is being able to appoint the Founder title to their own characters.
