- Role: An old friend and coworker of Inanna, Enkidu is the Chief of Security of the city of Maranatha. He also personally chose and trained members of the Abzu Honor Guard.

- Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User (apart from the mild telepathic abilities which all members of his species possess)

- Appearance: Being a Shi'ido, Enkidu's outward appearance is subject to change. His most common current form is a bipedal humanoid with some serpentine and lizard-like features, though not enough to detract from his overall friendly and approachable demeanor.

- Skills: Extensive military background dating back several centuries, including leadership roles. Bakes a mean cake.
- Languages: Shi'idese (native) | Galactic Basic (fluent, but notorious for mixing up words and phrases that sound similar)
- Personality: "Retired" military man; comes across as charming, unassuming, and rather sentimental. Has a history of working as a spy, which explains his expertise in subterfuge and covert operations. In an administrative role, he is typically well-liked and admired by his employees. When presenting new strategies, he will claim that an underling came up with the idea (even when he thought of it himself) as a way of giving them a chance to prove themselves. Has a bit of a temper, but his anger is usually justified. Prior to being called back into service, he was a small business owner - he ran a bakery with his family. Of course, all of that is long gone now. In the final years of his life, he devotes himself to serving the other survivors of the genocide as they wait for Lao-mon to be rebuilt.

- Combat Function: Shi'ido are notorious for their shapeshifting abilities. Enkidu is able to morph his body in various ways, including forming makeshift weapons from his own flesh. Even so, most situations are best resolved by a good blaster.
- Shapeshifter: A natural ability for his species, he can imitate any creature regardless of size or coloring, and for an indefinite amount of time. (Though adjusting his mass by a significant amount is incredibly taxing.) He can enact such a transformation at will so long as he is able to concentrate, and he will not revert into another form even if he is knocked unconscious.
- Passive Telepathy: This is directly tied to his shapeshifting abilities and allows him to cover up inconsistencies in his physical appearance which would tip more observant people off that he isn't what he seems, such as smell or pheromones. The ability is passive, meaning that he doesn't have to directly apply it. It's negated if he can't use the Force, and it should be noted that he can only control how others see him, not what they think of him.
- Military Man: With a centuries-long career, Enkidu is experienced with warfare and leadership. He has built connections with other members of the Lao-mon defense forces and can call in a favor or two if needed.
- Immune to the Wretchedness.
- Extreme Temperatures: Enkidu doesn't do well with either extreme heat or extreme cold, which can affect his ability to shapeshift.
- It Is Not Good For Man to Be Alone: Between the invasion, the rebellion, and the Genocide, Enkidu lived to see the death of every member of his immediate family and the destruction of his homeworld. Such catastrophic loss could break other beings. Enkidu has endured, but he has hardly escaped unscathed.
- Veteran of the Psychic Wars: Enkidu spent some time as a Fleshtaker. He was healed by the Benandanti, at the cost of having some of his memory erased. He doesn't remember being tortured by the Mawites, but he also has gaps in his memory, particularly involving events that occurred during the last days of the Shi'ido rebellion and much of his time as Security Chief of Camp Spyridon.
Born on Lao-mon, Enkidu came from a family of small business owners. He joined the military upon coming of age, attaining the rank of colonel before he retired to settle down and open up a bakery. Following the invasion of the planet by the Maw, he returned to service and was almost immediately promoted to general of the rebel army. He survived exposure to the Wretchedness, attaining immunity to the bioweapon. At one point he was turned into a Fleshtaker, but his mind was successfully restored by the Benandanti.
After the genocide, he escaped Lao-mon and began serving as Security Chief at Camp Spyridon, the largest of the Shi'ido refugee camps that scattered throughout the galaxy. It was there that he met and befriended Inanna Harth (then Inanna Yomin) who was also part of the camp's leadership. He was later appointed to Chief of Security in Maranatha, the Alderaanian refugee city built by Inanna and then-Count Alicio Organa.
