Dominion Embarrassment of Riches | EOTL Dominion of Jabiim

With attacks on the Auril Sector, the Resource Rush Campaign dubbed by the newly crowned Emperor has gone into maximum overdrive. Jabiim despite its mundane appearance is a planet that is glittering with a plethora of ore needed to build and expand the Imperial Army and Navy. Of course, the locals mostly miners from various neutral mining companies around the planet have refused to concede any goods to the Empire and took up arms reforming the Jambiimi Nationalists A good revolt keeps the troops sharp and grows the Empire's reputation. Get to Jabiim and wipe these nuisances out so the Empire can have access to the diversity of ore that the planet has to offer.

Objective 1: Royal Rumble

328d5cb24585663825a33efd234889bf.jpg

The bulk of the Jabiim Nationalists spent a week hitting the Imperial command post via artillery. Thinking that they've inflicted enough damage, the Jambii Nationalists descend down the rocky hills of Jabiim armed with a variation of machetes, vibroblades and blaster rifles. Stormtroopers under the command of Captain Hondi Zerru not only survived the siege but has most of his army intact but are preparing a countercharge along with Walkers, Tanks, and a lot of guts. Join Captain Zerru as he and stormtroopers collide against the resistance in a bloody melee. Watch out for motor strikes and artillery fire as every now and then they will descend onto Imperial and resistance alike.

Objective 2: Coaxium Heist

tatooine-repulsor-train-main_7aa744e8.jpeg

While the fighting is going on, ISB has received word of a group of miners transporting 125 billion credits worth of Coaxium that they discovered in an unmarked cave. They're transporting it on a Repulsor Train on its way to the nearest spaceport. Any ISB agents, stop that train, kill anyone who resists, and gather information about the location of the Coaxium Cave while taking the available Coaxium on the train back to the Empire.

Objective 3: ROCKCONNAISSANCE!!!!!!!

starfield_plutonium_resource-410x231.jpg

Jabiim is filled with not only rocks but valuable minerals for the Empire can study and use for future projects. Any Imperial scientists are free to descend to the abandoned mines to look for rare minerals while also finding any potential sites for mining once the battle is finished. Explore the lands and discover any abandoned lore left behind in Jabiim.

"The artillery has stopped!" Captain Hondi emerged from the command post that Empire hastily established before those ignorant buffoons: The Jabiim Nationalists started bombing it. The onslaught had been going for about a week but the Imperial Army held strong only suffering minimal casualties. Intel was right, the artillery crew were inexperienced and now they were going to pay the price. "NOW IT'S OUR TURN TO STRIKE!" Hondi shouted at his battalion of Stormtrooper brandishing his FAE/W-13 "Sarissa" Grenade Rifle. "IF THESE BASTARDS WANT A FIGHT! THEN WE GIVE IT TO THEM! WE WILL SHOW THOSE NATIONALSTIC BASTARDS HOW TO REALLY FIGHT!"

The Stormtroopers roared in jubilation while Hondi motioned them to get ready. He knew that the men and women were tired of being pinned down and are eager for a fight. Hondi was too, he lived for those bloody clashes if anything the new Emperor has provided him with many targets for him to kill. "LET US MOVE OUT!" Every remaining soldier from tank crews to Stormtroopers marched on the rocky plains. The faint sounds of explosions were in the air. Hondi frowned in response. Was that motor fire? He wasn't sure but it could be a problem.

f98a507506c087638ec90484e6dd5619.jpg

There was a loud scream from beyond the hills, countless of armored men and women came howling down the hill armed with blaster rifles, vibroblades, and machetes. Hondi looked at these "soldiers" with bemusement. They flailed their arms like drunken fools, more brawlers than proper warriors. Oh, this will be a good fight. "HERE THEY COME!" Hondi shouted charging into the fray. "FIGHT MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!"

The silence of the Artillery was no accident.

The protective cordon over the battlefield had been pierced by Imperial elements with cannon that might answer the bombardment if it persisted. Under that threat, enemy artillery elements had silenced themselves for a moment, to reposition and avoid destruction.

Meanwhile, enemy anti-aircraft batteries opened up on the fast-descending craft that came upon the field. The explosions erupted in the skies, seeking to obliterate the vessels that came down to join the Imperial forces.

By grace of Fate, the Force, or Unknown Gods, none of the anti-aircraft Flak struck their mark.

And so came two Gozanti Assault Carriers, with their escort of two Tie/mgs. The Ties were painted red with an emblem now familiar to the Imperial forces: It was the mark of House Mecetti.

And soon enough, a holo-transmission was made, confirming what appeared to be true.

SfQVUeu.png

"Captain Zerru, this is Lord Maldor Mecetti. I've brought forces here to reinforce your position. My Flagship, the Obscurer, managed to put out enough electronic interference to get two Gozantis and their escorts down to you through the anti-aircraft emplacements.

There are too many anti-air batteries for the ships to remain, but they are bringing four heavy Walkers to aid you.

I hope that you will accept this gift with my compliments. I leave them under your command, and hope they aid you in victory!"

Then a new transmission followed the first.

"This is Commander Volgar, of the Mecetti House Guard Marines. I have Command of an AT-AT walker squadron, and we are at your disposal, Captain. We await your orders. Glory to the Empire!"

“The train is coming up over the horizon, over. Eight kilometers out.” Ivixa said over the comm channel that she shared with the heist team as she stared down her scope, before setting her crosshairs just over the large thruster on the dorsal side of the train. She had trusted the task of stopping the train to her fusion rifle, which manifested such extreme firepower that it was effectively a disruptor in all but name, capable of blasting through phrik. She anticipated that the weapon would be more than capable of taking out the large thruster on the top of the train, thereby stopping the shipment and allowing the team to board and seize the coaxium.

However, there was still a question as to whether she should shoot the train’s thruster in the first place.

“I have my shot.” Ivixa continued, as kept her crosshairs held in place over the thruster. “If I take out the thruster, the train will be stopped, permanently. We won’t be able to use the it to take the coaxium back to base.” She explained. “We’ll have to arrange an alternate method of transport.” The sniper added.

“Are we all in on taking out the thruster?”

As she spoke, the rangefinder in her scope ticked down to seven kilometers. They didn't have much longer to come a decision.

Ivixa was tracking the train from a distance. Myri was in position much closer to the tracks. Her skills were constantly growing, so she could tell by the vibrations of the ground that the train was getting closer. Myri had worked with Ivixa in the past, it was a comfort knowing the person with their finger on the trigger to start the mission rolling was someone whose talents she trusted completely. While Ivixa’s talents were in sharpshooting, Myri was prepared to do her part. She was a close quarters combat expert. Sure she was looking to branch out, but when a mission came up that Imperial assets needed to get in quick and eliminate threats quietly, Myri always jumped at the chance to use skills she’d honed her entire life to prove her use.

Ivixa, or Rominaria Seven as she was now known on missions, commed that she had lined up a shot on the thrusters of the train. All she needed was the go ahead. Myri cracked her knuckles and double checked that her jetpack was ready to be used to board the train. She looked around to the other members of the incursion team expecting someone else to give the order to the sniper. Her head started to drift over the consequences of taking the shot that was currently lined up. ”Maybe there is an easier way for us to just slow the train down? I really don’t think our plan should be to hoof it back to base with canisters of coaxium strapped to our backs,” Myri put it out there hoping another would jump on the decision.

One of the gruff older men who went by “The Serpent” gave Myri a cringeworthy grin. He shook his head and raised a pair of macrobinoculars to his face. ”Rominaria Seven this is Serpent. Take out the thruster. We’ll have to figure out a way to airlift the cargo once we take the train. Tracks only go two ways. Our trackers can follow them back to the caves and report back. If our forces put down the Nationalist they’ll have no trouble giving us a lift with the value of cargo we’ll be holding.”

Equipment: SV Medkit, Bacta Grenades

Objective: One

House Io had thrown in their lot with the Empire of The Lost, and intended to make good on their promises.

For the operation against the Nationalists, House Io had at last shown up as the Imperials had begun the Counter Attack, in large numbers of Imperial Combat shuttles, around the same time the forces of Maldor Mecetti Maldor Mecetti had shown up.

While Mecetti had aerial and mechanical units, House Io had contributed some of their best ground troops, platoons of blue and black House Io Mercenary B1's, each with the intelligence and mindset of your average Fett Clone Soldier, as well as squads of the deadly Model 3,

There were also medical Nuetralizers, such as Agatha. The Medical Nuetralizers had arrived earlier than the others, had been here a week in their black Catsuits, so skintight they looked almost painted on, treating soldiers who had been injured by the relentless shelling

Only Agatha, head of the Nuetralizers on Jabiim, wore armor of a different color, a light blue armor made to move around quickly, her artificial musculature taking full advantage of it as the attack commenced on the stormtroopers while moving.

Barbarians rightly described them, and on instinct Agatha had unsheathed her ancient sword, and began slicing brutally into them. Whether or a Nuetralizer was a medic or not, they were still a Nuetralizer, and very deadly up close. Her fine blade cleaved through Nationalists even as she spotted a number of wounded Stormtroopers and cut her way to them in the melee.

She concentrated and the suit helped disperse the healing enzymes her body naturally produced at an accelerated level over a large area, coating the wounded Stormtroopers in a mist while she grabbed one of their rifles and began downing barbarians.

The Mercenary B1 units began saturating the ranks assaulting Captain Hondi's position with blaster fire, showing all the discipline of a regular soldier. One even straight up John Wicked several Nationalists with a seized pistol as they started firing blasters at him.

The Model 3's of course, were right at home, using their honed aim to blast chunks out of attackers, acting as snipers with their DC-15N's, killing anyone that looked like they had explosives. And every single Medical Nuetralizer was killing as viciously, snapping necks, and caving in skulls using fists, legs, or seized blasters and blades.

The Nuetralizer shots began to cut down hoarders in such away, that when they fell, they caused others to trip and be exposed to fire.

Agatha detested violence...normally...but for a moment, as she used a Nationalist's body and hurled it to ragdoll another about to behead a stormtrooper, she started to understand what her mechanical older brothers saw in the application of violence.

And who knows? These tentative early struggles alongside the Empire could yield greater glories for her family...

Objective: One

As the Armored Divisions and Stormtroopers Corps of the Empire make their advance across the arid plains of this Force damned planet in order to engage the Nationalists in a chaotic CQC confrontation, and as the ancient and titanic walkers from an Empire that has long since past get into their positions to begin direct Fire Support. A seemingly antiquated light grey Starfighter, from the days of Gilad Paelleon, would streak low and across the battlefield, over the lines of the Nationalist Defenders. And as it made it's pass, a trail of high yield baradium explosions would follow it, vaporizing at least several dozen of the crazed, charging mob. Not even a moment later after the strike had concluded, the command channels would spark to life with the voice of a certain Young High Admiral coming on the air

"High Admiral Orion Knight to Imperial Ground Command, I have received word that Dewback Squadron has finally arrived to render Close Air Support on the battlefield and precision spotting for orbital fire. Request their aid as you see fit, but remember that they only have so many precision munitions to expend. Good Luck down there. Navy Command Out"

Finally, after a long, boring, slog, fighting all over the Auril Sector Ami and the unit were treated with a reward: An epic melee clash on neutral ground. It was about time too, Ami spent weeks couped up in that fracking tin can that's called a command post. One would think that with the money and the resources that the Empire of the Lost was rolling in, that they could afford better tools to build a base but turns out there wasn't any. While Ami and the rest of the Stormtroopers waited out the artillery fire, she wondered where the credits went to specifically. "Probably spice," she thought. "The rich love to get red sand up their noses. Heard that many generals were addicted to that stuff."

Ami did try some spice through her ex once. The spice was alright at first but eventually, chit made her paranoid to the point where she once destroyed her room at the barracks because she was worried that the ISB were watching her. Ami ended up quitting the stuff and punched her ex in the throat for introducing her to the stuff. "Good times," Ami smiled to herself as she rushed past the incoming fire and began to unleash a hail of blaster bolts bringing down one resistance soldier and wounding another. It felt good to be out of the base and now she got a chance to take out that pent up frustration on these idiots.

"Hey boys!" Ami saw a man wielded a machete running towards her, she blocked his overhead strike with her weapon before she kicked the man in the ribs. The man fell on the ground hard the back of his head colliding with the rocks before he could react, Ami filled his chest with blaster bolts. "Thanks for throwing out the red carpet for us!" Ami laughed in the middle of the chaos. "We feel honored!"

A Duros cladded in the armor of the Jabiim Nationalists made a beeline towards Hondi holding his vibroblade up high and screaming obscenities in his own language. "If you're going to curse me Duros!" Hondi shouted through the screams, blaster fire, and sounds of metal meeting metal. "SAY IT IN A LANGUAGE THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND! "

Cowards, all of them. They hide behind artillery and then try to triumph over the corpses of their enemies without a proper fight. Hondi sidestepped the Duros' vertical slash. The Duros tripped on a rock nearly falling face first onto the ground but Hondi grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and repeatedly slammed his face against the foot of the AT-AT that was provided by Maldor Mecetti Maldor Mecetti . The Duros' cried out in pain while green blood splattered all over the foot.

"May your Gods take you in," Hondi casually tossed the Duros' corpse on the ground before taking his grenade launcher firing off a projectile towards 4 charging warriors reducing them all to a bloody paste.

"Good work Mecetti!" Hondi smiled. "We need to clear this area quickly!"

"ENEMY ARMOR APPROACHING FROM THE HILLS!" Private Seo shouted in Hondi's earpiece.

Hondi turned and saw 6 Tanks slowly rolling down the hill accompanied by a slew of enemy reinforcements. Electricity sparkled from their main guns causing Hondi to grit his teeth. "Ion cannons!" The tanks fired towards the two nearest AT-AT hoping to take them out.

"We're going to need some air support for that armor!" Hondi said continuing to fire more grenades onto incoming enemies. About 7 Jabiim Nationalists screamed in pain as their limbs were torn apart by Hondi's grenades.

MHGN Obscurer - In Service to the Empire of the Lost
In Orbit

Maldor Mecetti stood in the Mission Control room of the Obscurer, the new Flagship of his forces, surrounded by the ship's senior officers.

Delivery of the AT-ATs had been successful, and the Assault Carriers and Tie/mg escorts had made their way back out intact. But they'd done it under heavy anti-aircraft fire against an enemy that had grown complacent about aerial assets.

Now that the enemy AA was on full alert, it would be doubly hard to get anything through the soup of flak they could put into the skies.

Worse, enemy armor assets had appeared, armed with Ion Cannons. The AT-AT walkers had no defense against Ion Weapons. Without air support, his entire reinforcement effort was at risk of loss.

On the bright side, the Obscurer was an Electronic Warfare powerhouse with a huge complement of Assault Missiles aboard. Unfortunately, he couldn't jam enemy targeting sensors and also fire his missiles accurately. If he fired the missiles without jamming enemy targeting sensors, the AA would shoot the missiles out of the sky nearly as easily as they'd shoot down Ties.

He had to think of something fast. Dewback squadron was already in the air down there, and if those AA weren't taken out soon, those impressive fighters would suffer the same fate as any House Mecetti Ties that went down there. Flak couldn't be avoided forever. It had to be dealt with.

"We're approaching this the wrong way," Maldor noted as he looked at the displayed map. "We're thinking of the missiles as guided weapons. That's a mistake. We need to treat them as ballistic objects."

"But they are guided weapons," the Obscurer's Commander noted, "and they will be impacted by our targeting jam just as surely as the enemy forces will."

Maldor shook his head, "Not if we turn the guidance systems off. Fire them from orbit as unguided rockets. Rods from God, so to speak. Accuracy will be poor, but they have kiloton-level warheads.

We don't need a direct hit, gentlemen. A proximity blast will take out an AA gun. We blanket the whole area of the AA emplacements, and those guns will cease to be a concern. Then we can get Dewback Squadron out of danger, and add our Ties down there to keep the mobile armor off of our walkers and away from the troops on the ground."

The Obscurer's Commander looked up from the table with surprise. Maldor Mecetti had arrived several months ago as a politician... but he was gradually evolving into an effective starship tactician.

"That may work, sir. I'll speak to the missile crews, get them to pull the guidance systems from the missiles. We should be ready to go in just a few minutes."

If Commander Volgar had thought to easily trounce the enemy, he was quickly being disabused of that notion. Two of his Walkers had been disabled by enemy Ion Cannon fire from a full squad of tanks. The walkers hadn't fallen over, thankfully, but they were big dumb standing targets for the time being. Volgar wished that the sultry House Io medical personnel were able to heal machines as effectively as they could heal bodies.

"You heard the General! We are the only Fist able to take out that Armor while those AA guns are peppering air units. Lay down fire on those tanks! We need to give our disabled walkers time to reboot their systems!"

Volgar personally directed the fire of the twin laser cannons on his Walker, while the Walker beside his followed suit. The guns on these AT-ATs were powerful, essentially direct-fire artillery pieces in their own right. Standing at this height, they had perfect elevated line-of-sight shots on the approaching tanks. While the big laser cannons fired, he also opened up with the smaller Blaster Cannons. The Blaster Cannons wouldn't hurt the tanks directly, but their fire might flash the tanks' sensors, making it more difficult for them to hit the remaining two AT-ATs.

The question wasn't whether or not Volgar's remaining walkers could kill the enemy.

The question was whether they could kill them before they, too, were disabled by those Ion guns.

It felt nice not to be tip of the spear for once. Tibera was actually being sent to the planet quite late into the conflict. This wasn't to say the Merc was any safer because of their lateness. Jessen would be dropping into the middle of the fray alone, trying to take the pressure off some of the support units. Their first objective was to take out mortar teams set up on the ridgeline, then move on to take out anti air assets further afield. Their lander would have to remain in high altitude in order to avoid the flak fire from the Nationalist forces. This meant a risky High Altitude Low Opening jump for the heavily armored mercenary.

The inside of the transport was bathed in a red light, the crimson prelude to jumping head first into the jaws of death. Tibera checked over her equipment one last time. Breather was set up correctly, armor was sealed, all weapons seemed to be functional, and the comms were good. They were ready to jump, and not a moment to spare. The ominous red light suddenly shifted to green and the cargo door lowered itself down, with the sun in their eyes the armor clad gunfighter jumped from the transport. There would be no static line to open their chute, this was all manual. An altimeter in their HUD flashed as the merc plummeted, they waited until the last possible moment before opening their parachute. Now was the scary part, floating slowly down to solid ground while watching the battle below.

Once they hit the ground there was only minutes to spare before they were surrounded. Without much thought the chute was cast off and Tibera raised their rifle, shifting around to check if anyone had come. So far so good, but there was the ever present sounds of explosions and screaming. Better to keep mobile and try and to link up with any frontline troopers. Survival was easier in a pack than trying to go lone wolf.

Tibera sprinted their way across the battlefield, shooting several members of the Nationalist resistance on their way up the ridge. They caught sight of some friendlies mowing their way through the machete wielding crazies. It wasn't a large group, but they were damned good at their jobs. Among them was a familiar looking trooper.

"Hey I think I know you, weren't you on Rhen Var? Small galaxy we live in..."

All things considered, the battle was going fairly well, as the Stormtroopers, Imperial Armor, and Mercenaries were holding the line against the Nationalists' furious assault on their lines. But due to the AT-ATs being disabled and the fire from the enemy's own wheeled Tank Destroyers, very little movement would occur from either side, that had to change. So when the call came in from Captain Zerru that the tanks needed to go, Dewback Squadron would oblige as best they were able.

Dewback-1 (DB1): "Dewback Squadron, this is Dewback Leader. Alpha flight will make our run on the group of enemy Tank Destroyers on the left flank, closest to the line. Bravo Flight, you deal with the Ion Tanks on the right and make runs on the Infantry giving our mud trekkers a hard time. Break!"

The Squadron of Fighters would then make a near vertical flight up towards the dim sky of the arid planet, before splitting off into two groups and splitting the formation clean in half.

Alpha Flight would keep in formation at high altitude, taking a couple moment before letting 3 bombs loose, and using their Advanced Guidance packages that came standard on their fighters, all three bombs would strike their targets directly, and after a split second fuse, all three Tank Destroyers would be slagged thanks to the precision guided Proton-based ordinance

Bravo Flight would be different, however, as all but one of the Preybirds would break off from their formation and began close range, High-Drag bombing run on the enemy infantry. Clusters of Baradium bombs exploding all across the charging formation of Nationalists, the fighter then wheeled around after climbing significantly and using their Repeating Laser Cannons to shred as many infantryman as they could with their Automatic Fire, before pulling up once again. All the while Dewback-4, commander of Bravo Flight, would do as order and mark the target formation with their own targeting computer...(
Bravo Flight's Theme)

On the Battlefield, it would seem as if a storm high above the engaged had begun to rage. But of course, it wasn't that at all, as 4 huge streaks of green energy would slam into the Nationalist Armor formation, each impact rocking the dusty plains beneath the feet of all present to some degree. The result was not merely a termination of the enemy armor, but their complete removal from existence, as where the tanks once stood only bright glowing craters remained....

Agatha had been displaying her natural skill with the blade when Ion shots from the tanks slammed in close to her position.

She caught the edge of the blast, and was flung backward, her skin rippling everywhere as her databases were scrambled, the sheer amount of ion Energy that had impacted having overwhelmed even her design's natural resistances to it.

She twitched violently as she choked up dark green blood , flesh rippling as it split open in certain areas, loose muscle fibers spilling out in a disgusting mess of sparking green and blue arcs of electricity.

(DATABASES REBOOTING)

Her mind, which had been pure chaos spasm and vomiting blood, managed to stand up, half feral as she grabbed a fallen storm troopers Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon and unleashed hell at the charging hoard, staggering and with her skin rippling. She was relatively lucky. She had been on the absolute peripheral of the blasts. Other Medical Nuetralizers looked like their skin was about to melt or burn off as they twitched helplessly, having been much closer to the blasts.

The Biot's sword was out soon, after the cannon had run dry from mowing down dozens. The Model 3's began making a beeline for the tanks, assaulting them with both tossed grenades and precision fire directly on the tank barrels, hoping to damage them or get a direct shot down the barrel itself. The Mercenary B1 Droids had taken an enemy mortar and began shelling the crowds of enemies.

But then that magnificent attack from dewback squadron occured and blew up the attacking battlefield. The Model 3's cheered at the gory destruction and began marching through the craters way ahead of the other Stormtroopers, to receive the thickest fighting, tearing apart puny human warriors in unnecessarily cinematic ways while shooting, having only lost a few units, The B1's emptying the clip of the DC-15S carbines into larger, heavier enemies before they could close in.

"Roger Roger this you fethin' bastards..." one of the B1's said in the voice of a Fett clone as he lifted up a Nationalist and brought his back down on the Droid's knee joint, Tom Hardy-ing the enemy's spine.

Agatha grabbed a Nationalist who had gotten too close by the throat and casually snapped his neck before spotting more wounded Stormtroopers and rushing over to them despite her now horrifying, slightly melted looking appearance and began treating them with her med kit, because her suit had been totaled. Medical Nuetralizers that were intact took the opportunity to drag away allied wounded to a safer distance, immediately treating them with brusque efficiency.

"Guess ...guess they built you to last, huh?" one of the wounded she treated commented.

"Oh, if you only knew..." Agatha replied, picking up a nearby pistol and shooting a Nationalist without looking as he started to rise before going back to her treatment like nothing happened.

"Dewback squadron is tearing them up, Sir," the signals officer reported, reading her scope, "they're really ruining the day of the enemy."

Maldor smiled and nodded, "Then let's make sure they live through the experience. Do we have firing solution on the anti-aircraft emplacements?"

The tactical officer spoke up, "Best ballistic course is plotted, sir. I think we have a good chance to hit the target, even without guidance."

"All right," he said, "Electronic Countermeasures on full. Missiles away."

At once, eighteen assault concussion missiles soared out of the starboard side of the Obscurer, which was positioned to deliver those missiles to the planetary surface below. No ordinary missiles, these were sized to break the backs of capital ships. In a planetary atmosphere, the expanding waves of superheated air would create massive secondary damage waves that might sweep away enemy units that were hundreds of meters away from the detonation site.

Hopefully, it would do the job.

He watched and waited as the missiles descended through the atmosphere. One minute.... two minutes... then-

The tactical officer was the first to report the results, "Proximity hits to anti-aircraft and artillery vehicles and emplacements. I believe we've neutralized ninety-percent of them, sir."

Maldor clenched his fist as the rush of success moved through him.

"Advise all ground forces to advance. And bring down additional ground units to reinforce the general.

"Faster!" Nesic Gula fiddled with the train's controls banging his large, ham sized fists against the panel. "Hey, I'm going as fast as I can Nesic!" Elik a Dug Miner who was an employee under Nesic growled. "The thing is boss, is that I can't go any faster lest we have this train tipping over!"

Nesic patted his rotund stomach seething with anger and frustration. The moment his mining company hit the jackpot with 125 billion credits worth of Coaxium, his mind was already filled with dreams expanding his secret criminal Empire. Maybe he can gather enough funds so he could challenge the Hutts, maybe Nesic can continue to expand his other corporations to be a more effective money laundering operation. Hell, Nesic could buy a Galactic Alliance senator or maybe 10 based on his funds.

But of course, there's always a snag the Empire has invaded Jabiim and based on how hellbent they were on taking over the planet, it was only a matter of time before they win, Forget Nationalistic pride, Nesic was only loyal to one person: Himself. Besides, the Jabiim natives were stupid to believe that Nesic would give a credit to them. Hell, he barely pays his employees. "This Coaxium will be all mine," Nesic muttered rubbing his hands with glee. "How long until we reach the Spaceport?"

"In about 2 hours," Elik said. "Shorter if the Empire hasn't taken over."

"Good!" Nesic said. "Keep this train rolling! I don't want any interruptions! Got me?!"

"Sure whatever," Elik sighed.

Our trackers can follow them back to the caves and report back. If our forces put down the Nationalist they’ll have no trouble giving us a lift with the value of cargo we’ll be holding.”

“Copy that. Taking the shot.” Ivixa said. Then, almost immediately, a dense golden bolt lanced out from the barrel of her fusion rifle, committed on a trajectory towards the train. Five kilometers away, the thruster exploded in a burst of golden energy, disintegrating it in a flash of light and searing plasma.

On cue, the repulsor train nearly fishtailed as its ventral side struck the sand, almost tipping over in the process. Sand and dust was kicked into the air, causing a growing plume to form in the train’s wake as it slid across the dune, before finally coming to a rest.

All the while, Ivixa was already moving.

The tiny Asa’nyx had left her fusion rifle behind, the weapon being too large (and powerful) to be of much use within the confined space of a train. Instead, she had her two pistols on her hips—a CryoBan pistol and a disruptor pistol—and the vibroblades integrated into her gauntlets. All the while, Ivixa flew towards the train at blistering speed air via her armor’s repulsor pack, drawing her pistols as she did.

Her objective, as reviewed with the heist team prior to the start of the mission, was to reach the cab. From there, she hoped to find the cars that held the coaxium, so that it might then be secured for the Empire.

Two AT-ATs stopped in their tracks sparks of electricity surrounded its hull. Hondi gritted his teeth in frustration witnessing the Nationalist reinforcements colliding with his soldiers gunning them down or smashing their elements with their vibroblades. Hondi witnessed one poor Stormtrooper's helmet shattered in multiple pieces when a Jabiim Nationalist swung his blade like a baseball bat and swung it to his face. The Stormtrooper fell onto the ground hard while the Nationalist clobbered his skull against the ground.

Hondi raised his Blaster Pistol shooting the Nationalist in the head. As he fell a large hole was formed on the side of his head the Stormtrooper he beat up was still motionless. "Damn it," Hondi said as Maldor Mecetti Maldor Mecetti began to carpet bomb the tanks. "DIRECT HIT!" Hondi shouted. "ONWARDS TROOPERS!"

The thing about agents as opposed to army troopers, even the junior ones didn’t wait for orders once their missions had started. Sure at divergences they would ask for advice as Ivixa had when considering the pros and cons of disabling the train, but once their objective was made apparent to an agent they lunged towards their goal.

Confirmation of the shot being taken, flash of light from where Myri knew Ivixa had made her nest, the sound of an explosion and finally the plume of smoke from the blast finding its target. The last sign was all Myri needed. Her thoughts had her jetpack activate and she was in the air in no time flat. Five kilometers was nothing for the new “Phoenix” Jetpacks to cover. And before Myri knew it her feet touched down on the nose of the train’s cab where she would in theory rendez-vous with her Eternal Empire mentor.

As she touched down the jetpack shut off and a quick flip by Myri had her at the entrance hatch on the far side of the train from where Ivixa had fired from. Myri readied herself to short circuit the door, peering through a small slit, she saw the Dug “pilot” on her side of the cab and the boss, closer to the other door that Ivixa would enter through. <<Rominaria Seven, ready to breach on your word.>>

As Myri readied her entrance the voice of The Serpent came over the comms. ”Perimeter is secure. We’ve got guns on every car junction.”

Commander Volgar's Walker Group - In Service to the Empire of the Lost
Objective 1
____________________

"ONWARDS TROOPERS!"

The General's orders were as much for the Walkers as for the individual footsoldiers, as far as Commander Volgar was concerned.

He gestured to his walker's driver, directing him to pushed the walker forward. The other three walkers followed suit, doubtless thankful for the brave aerial assets which had interfered with the tanks to give them time to restart their systems.

"All units, switch to blaster cannons as primary. Strafe enemy formations. Break them up and send them scrambling so that the infantry can finish them off!" Volgar sent his orders over the comms.

The Walkers stomped forward, behemoths on the battlefield. Allied air soared overhead, providing a sense of security for the advance as the walkers unleashed auto-fire to tear into enemy troops and light vehicles.

Meanwhile, at the rear, Gozanti Assault Carriers brought four more walkers down from the Darkfall and Obscurer in orbit. Now, even if they took losses here, they would have reserves.

Finally, things were going fully in favor of the Imperial forces here.

Ami was having the time of her life shooting down rebels or were they nationalists? whatever the frack they called themselves. All that matters was that they were the enemy and Ami was ordered to shoot them down. As soon as she shot a Nationalist to death she looked up and saw six tanks lined up on top of the hill firing on the AT-ATs. Two were stuck in place disabled and vulnerable. "Ah chit," Ami muttered. "I had a feeling something like that was gonna happen. This fight was way too easy."

But it also meant more target practice, unlike Myri Dara Myri Dara AKA: Buttercup who cries about everything, Ami was an optimist. Life is too damn short to be all cynical, and Galaxy is a large place. Sure, there's a lot bad chit that happens, but for every bad, there's definitely a hell of a lot of good. While Ami worries for her parents, she also knows that they can take care of themselves. "I'm coming to get you soon Dad," Ami thought. "You too Mom, you're a piece of chit but I still love you."

A familiar voice rang throughout the field of screams and blaster fire. Ami turned around and saw Tibera Jessen Tibera Jessen walking towards her. "You gotta be kidding me," Ami chuckled. "Been a while Snowball! Welcome to the party!"

A Nationalist soldier rushed recklessly at Ami, his machete over his head but she casually raised her carbine up blasting him on the kneecap. The man screamed him pain before Ami put an end to misery with a headshot. "What's happening?" Ami chuckled.
