The sounds or the bombardment outside sounded like thunder inside. Alwine looked up at the ceiling, her brown eyes narrowing. She did not like the sound of it at all. More than once, in her short time with the Confederacy, had she been in similar situations, yet in the other ones, she had always been on the offending side. To be attacked like that… If anything, it strengthened her resolve regarding thoughts that had been plaguing her mind for months now. But now would not be the time to give them additional consideration, since they had to survive this onslaught.

The sounds of clashing and breaking were heard now, and Alwine wished to give words regarding the situation, which was when she sensed her. Eyes widening in surprise, the petite blonde seemed almost bewildered for a moment. How could it be? [member="Lirka Ka"] was dead, died over the orbit of one of the redundant wars the Confederacy had waged with the J'enari months and months ago. And now… She could sense her? Was her gargantuan friend the reason behind this attack? She knew that the people on Kamino were working on it, but she had not known... Why was Lirka attacking the Confederacy?

As a Lupine, Alwine's sense of hearing was metahuman. She could hear things at volumes and pitches that humans or most near-humans could not, and she heard Voph over the comm, recognizing his voice immediately. No ETA. Main hall targeted as meeting point. Again her gaze moved to the direction she had come from, close to the library, where she could sense the fat elf.

"Go," she nodded to the white haired man, never moving her sight from the hall, "I have… An old friend to question."

And as Hevn made his way to the Main Hall, Alwine made her way back towards the library, her sword still in hand.

"I know you are there, jatha'la rewt uss," she called into the peering darkness, "Where are you?!"

'Treason,' is the word forefront on the mind of the soldier the sorceress had mentally compromised. 'Pit our own military against us? And any Knights Obsidian who were nearby! Surely someone here is conscientious enough to have some inkling of an inner struggle with slaughtering their own without so much as a trial, or stating the charges.'

"Locate Lord Marshal Madalena Antares," the Sorceress commanded her Legion. She could sense the woman nearby. They had worked together before, she had hopes that it accounts for something.

The Sorceress released the Sergeant from her first spell, and waved a hand in front of his eyes and put him to sleep with another. He lost consciousness and slumped over at her feet.

Recently [member="Vytal Noctura"] and herself had fortified their bond within their coven. Pom senses Vytal’s signature and she delivered her telepathic voice on the wind to her sister. “I’ve an idea I am running with. Do not be alarmed.”

Legion delivered instinct to draw her eyes next in the direction of the location of [member="Madalena Antares"]. Pom approached, stopping just a few feet away. With respect she saluted, for the first time ever in her life, uncertain how she would be received.

“Lord Marshal, who is it you are looking for? What are the charges? The younglings based here are still in harms way.” She knew that [member="Zak Dymo"] had been in classes. She is confident that he shall be well protected by his Master.

During her enlistment she was brought before the Exarch Malvern for sentencing. She is Apprenticed to the Vicelord. Surely her own Master won’t order her to be slaughtered like chattel for some transgression suspected committed by another. When she crosses him, he makes her duel him!

She has hopes for the next thing she addressed to the Lord Marshal. “Surely you’re open to accept those who surrender.” It is a terrible word indeed, but Pom Stych Tivé wants on that ship. She would freely go along with whoever would lead her to the transport and announce her arrival. She suspects the brig won’t be empty at the point in time, and will find a few to ally with herself.

“Surely there is mutiny onboard, Vytal, and I plan to escalate it.”

Vytal had just finished the last rune on the Hall when Hevn made his entrance. The Nightsister snorted. "It is not a party until we are crushing our enemies," she replied humorlessly. So, it would be a party quite soon. Fortunately, her Brother Hevn, Sister Pom, and even a familiar High Marshal or Darth Voph were here this day. The party would be festive indeed.

As Hevn and Voph gathered, the Nightsister's eyes shone with the Hunt of Midnight. "When those shields fail, magick will protect these walls. All should be brought here, and if necessary I can get them to safety," Vytal announced as she approached the men making plans for battle. Slaughter was perfectly fine, but losing so many Sisters and Brothers this day was not. If they died, they died, but she would do all in her power to save those she could. They were her family, and the ships above sought to kill her family. "If either of you has a link, summon those you seek to shield from harm. I will see them gone from the field of battle."

A familiar voice then reached out to the Nightsister from the skies above. Vytal's eyes were drawn upon toward the source. "Pom?" How-- No, her Sister always did like aperating about. "Mutiny?" Vytal scoffed aloud. Mutiny. They had ships and sent soldiers -- even Dauntless -- upon them. If there was mutiny surely the soldiers would not have gone along with such blatantly illegal orders? There had to be more to it. Because if there was not then the peace between those of With and those Without magick was far thinner than Vytal feared -- and just as precarious as Pom warned.

Vytal tried to reach back to her Sister above, Be careful. She might yet pull those ships down to the planet should the worst come to pass.

She stepped behind Hevn and wove her hands behind his back, "I will grant you power and speed for the battle ahead." A sharp eye lifted to regard her Brother. "I know not what transpired, but I would not see you die this day, Brother." The same boon would be given to Voph should neither object. Not that either was 'lacking' but the faster they crushed any that dared set foot inside their home, the safer the innocent would be.

The voice was lost in the carnage, that was all Lirka could feel in her genecrafted heart: the unrelenting desire to kill. Whilst the Kaminoians were unable to control their creation, it had been for the most part a total success otherwise.

And within the darkness, the green glew: her flaming blade waved as it hacked aside anything in her way: be it living or otherwise. She thudded along, a vicious snarl piercing from her razor sharp teeth. Another hopeless cur running to their death. Fools.

But she was not all invisible, the naked eye could see what hunted this place: Lirka was already large, but now she was simply massive. A hulking creature of baroque plate and hissing machinery, merely a monster now. But [member="Alwine Lechner"] was given her response in the form of a chunk of the wall thrown like a make-shift javelin. More enemies. That was all Lirka could see.

Alwine almost didn't duck in time as the piece of wall came flying towards her, sent to her by her dear old friend, Lirka Ka. Still, her brown eyes were focused on her form, the surprise easy to see on her face by all those who were not Kamino-experiments.

"You've gotten fatter," the young wolf sniped at her, obviously being completely in judging mode. Lirka had always been a big woman; whether that was because she'd been over-fed, or part of her species' features, Alwine had never learned.

Her fingers gripped the hilt of her sword harder. Fatbutt didn't seem like she was overly in touch with her sentient mind right there and then.

"We both know I can win this fight," Alwine warned her, "So how about you yield now and we figure out what in the name of the Gods has been done to you, heiffer friend?"

Hevn pauses for only a moment as the blonde girl bids him go on. A concerned expression closes around his already severe face. They would be better sticking together, but could not let havoc within the walls go unanswered. He barks a farewell after [member="Alwine Lechner"] as she parts from him. “May the force serve you well.”

[member="Voph"] had already assumed and issued command to what little resistance they had at their disposal. The marksmen began to line the balconies as directed and set up the kill box. Hevn has every expectation that he’d be holding the center of that kill box as bait for whatever came crashing through the halls next. As Voph spoke, he took heed of his words. Absorbing his wisdom through the burning glow of his eyes, skeletal grin, and twirling violet saber. He spoke a language Hevn understood well. Death. Hevn chuckles in response, grimly as ever. Drawing his sword again, it’s ethereal wail tunes itself to the emanating ghastly noise coming from Voph. Hevn’s gauntlet flexes in his fist as he begins to fill the bloody Qixoni gem with the power of the dark side.

Hevn grins at [member="Vytal Noctura"] . True enough that the real fun didn’t begin until they got to trade blows. As he accepts Vytal’s blessing, he crosses his sword and gauntlet in front of his chest, turning in salute. Her blessing makes the gem throb with bloody red light, and the sword take on a quivering hum. He could feel them soaking up the ichor the witch wields so well. Running through the focuses of his mystical strength and adding to his own.

“My thanks, Sister.” Hevn bows in addition to his weapon crossed salute to her power. “If we can remove the non-combatants without ships we must try. Even magic will not withstand the might of an uncontested fleet. If we run we will be shot down. If we stay we will be buried. I will not see this reliquary pilfered by traitors! I will stand to the last!” The venomous anger compelling him drips from his lips. Sweats from every pore. Reeks from his aura. Readying himself for the first unfortunate soul to come crashing these doors. Hevn had every intent to welcome the first wave with a force blast that would sweep their lives from the floor like dust.

Vytal stares toward the sky, invoking the name of her Sister, Pom. Following with mutiny. A mutinous fleet? Or further than that? How far did this corruption reach. If [member="Pom Stych Tivé"] was indeed here, he could only hope she was swift and safe in however she chose to handle this battle. She was not by their side, and in thus his concern lingered towards Vytal’s words. He’d have summoned her here to the main hall, to help them, and look after his own. If Pom were not beside her sister Vytal though, there was no doubt a reason and a rhyme. The Mandragora’s potion master was crafty with more than just her herbs and concoctions. Hevn trusts whatever she’s brewing...will mean trouble for the opposition.

The truth of it was, Lirka didn't even know who she was fighting. Like some angry Reek she could see only red, only feel the unquenchable desire to destroy. She was a fallen creature, a cadaver forced back into service.

But a dangerous cadaver.

Responding with nothing more than a bestial roar, she leaped forward that all too common freakish speed she had become know for. Running her blade through the wall and sending sparks flying in it's wake, a molten slash through the citadel's wall. Her free hand was extended, with metal claws out: simply trying to viciously grasp onto her old friend. All too blind to actually see what was going on, if she even saw the present at all and not some twisted battle of ages past.

"If and When a Brother turns on another Brother then They are indeed no longer Brothers"

The cold steel casing that surrounded the Captains Area of the Salvatore was...well rather cold. Cypher stood there as he watched as his fleet, one by one, began to pour out of Hyperspace following their falgship. He felt the sudden stop of the Salvatore as it docked with an orbiting Station receiving Fresh Blood or as some would say, new Recruits. Bah, it didn't really matter, The Confederacy was winning a war that had barely even started. The Mandolorians were pathy when it came to dfensey but Offense, you should have seen those bastards. Silver Jedi, Core Imperial, Sith Imperial and most importantly Confederate Forces had forced them to Capitulate
Eh that was enough thinking of war.

"Fleet Marshal, we are receiving a Communique from the 'Tigers Blood' " reported a young officer, whom was a part of the latter mentioned Fresh Blood. "Mmm. Patch Marshal Val in then" Cypher responded sternly. Instantaneously an Image of Vice Marshal Val was emblazoned on the main screen of the Salvatore and it spoke "Cypher, I am going to put this simply, Did the Vicelord order Fleet Marshal Munik to attack Shadows Point?" "Not to my knowledge" responded Cypher. Wait....Shadows Point. The Home of the Knights Obsidon. He wouldn't dare. No. Too risky. Too, treasony, "Prepare the Fleet do the Jump to Shadows Pont. And Alert the Knights Obsidian that the Fleet is on it's way. To They jus need to Hold Out a little while longer. " He ordered as he cut the Comm Off. This was really shapeing up to be one hell of a day.

Blood dripped from the walls, a dozen different colors as the still steaming scorched remains landed on the hard stone floor, as Daxton glanced behind him to see the pile of bodies literally marking where he had come from. Did they think superior numbers would cause him to pause and reconsider? Their numbers worked against them in these tight twisting corridors, the Sith warping both mind and shadow to do his bidding even as his blades cleaved though armor and flesh alike.

He had hoped for a challenge, someone truly worth his time but these were all green canon fodder, fresh put of boot camp, expendable meat shields for their master. The blades hissed through the air as they deflected away blaster bolts as if swatting flies as Daxton gestured with his hand and a dozen Force tentacles battered into the squad firing from cover. They as well have been ragdolls from the impact of the blast which dented armor and broke bone as he remembered that he would need to keep some of them alive for interrogation to find their command post.

Something's wrong.
Shadow's Point had been a quiet place for Tallara over the past few days. Without a specific assignment she'd taken the time to rest and recuperate, meditate and train. Routine kept her strong, and tonight as always she headed to bed early, planning to wake up tomorrow similarly early. As usual the dreams came soon enough -- but these were less quiet, abstract things, and more the sound of thunderous artillery. She saw herself on the battlefield that day, watching as her position was shelled and she disappeared under the rubble. This time, though, the drumming didn't stop as she was in the rubble. It kept going, and going, and...

We are under attack.

Tallara's eyes shot open and she sat up. For a moment her senses were clouded, but as another volley of fire hit the shield and the ground rumbled she realized how dire their situation was. In a flash she'd donned her armor and grabbed her weapons, and began to head to the main hall, her tail rigid. There was no time to waste -- she needed to help the other Knights.

In her haste she ran right into a certain bird -- perhaps this woman would be able to help her. "Scherezade, right? What's going on? How can I help?"

There had been two quick rounds of questions as strategies were laid out. The plan, for the time being, was simple. The Knights that were with Madalena would wait for the shield to drop, at which point they would be entering from the Western entrance to the Castle and comb through.

Had this been any simple enemy, her people would have been ordered to kill on sight, no questions asked. But, these were Knights Obsidian. These were their own people. Someone had to investigate, reach the bottom of this, understand what the heck had happened. How did an entire castle full of Knights suddenly turn their cloak?

"McKenna," Madalena walked to the younger woman and nodded. It would be their first time working together, but she had the full faith of her as she had with any other Confederate sent her way, "I need you to blast through the shield. If you can't take the entire thing down, at least hurt the Western part of it so that we can go in. If you see a crowd, hold your fire, we don't want to kill them if we can avoid it."

"General Terrik," she quickly switched to her comlink, "Lord Marshal Madalena Antares, waiting with my squad by the Western Barricades, waiting for the shield to go down before we make our entrance, weapons set to stun."

Sighing, Madalena looked at the castle. How?! How did something like this happen? Were they dealing with the Crucible again? The Aeshma? Another sort of enemy? For a moment, she dared consider the Mandalorians, but at least that brought a small smile to her face. Nah, they didn't have it in them to manage to do anything nearing the scope of this.

Having given the orders to take the shield down, Madalena began to move her people away from it. They'd been standing a mere few feet away only moments ago, and they needed to clear the way so that once the bombs dropped they would remain safe. As the last of her squad moved out, she saw the Witch, [member="Pom Stych Tivé"].

"You are part of this?" Madalena asked, her eyes narrowing, the glowing green highlighting the area between them. Her disappointment could be heard, thickly though her words. "The inhabitants of this castle have gone rogue. You have dragged children into this? To what, hide behind as shields?" By the Force, she wanted to spit.

But no. Much as she wanted to run her sword through every single one of them, she knew she could not. If nothing else, she had already given orders to not kill unless there was no choice.

"I will accept all those who surrender," she nodded to the Witch, "Take the shield down, announce a ceasefire, let those who survive come into my custody, and I give you my word that no harm will come to them."

Unless they screwed up during interrogation. But that was out of Madalena's hands.

Alwine had expected recognition on the fatty's face. Some sheen in her eyes that would let her know that despite the things done to her, Lirka would still recognize the obviously thinner one of the duo and remember that they were supposed to be friends. But there was nothing.

"Did you eat something bad?" the petite blonde asked, eyes narrowing again, "Your always sucks after you eat bad stuff. I told you to develop some food standards."

But all she got was a roar. Alwine's eyes followed the sparks on the wall, and the next moment, claws came for her thin throat.

Alwine did the only thing she knew how to when it was obvious that she wasn't going to match the brute force.

She turned around and ran, looking behind her every so often to make sure the fat elf was running after her. Unless the elf decided to stop, the Lupine's plan was to lead her straight to the courtyard – where she would have the upper hand.

Ordered to join in on a new mission, Cirrina found herself intrigued when the details of the mission were given. Fingers lightly tapped at her side of her Officer's uniform, caramel brown hair tied back neatly to match what would be expected of an officer of the Confederacy. She had made sure her position aboard the Red Trumpet would be covered without fail, placing her alias in all of the right places.

The knowledge that the fleet's guns were turned upon a target of such importance to the Confederacy as well as hidden in terms of knowledge of its existence have her more than enough reason to learn all that she could. Though the Raven was aware that this would be a race against the clock.

Calling up a layout of the assault cruiser's decks, she looked for the best place to gain access to the vessel's systems without unwanted guests. Any attention brought to their presence would be bad for herself and Holt. Mistakes couldn't be made here.

Knowing it would be best of they were not found together, Ciri had split from Holt's presence before their arrival in the Apatros system. However, a message would be sent to his datapad through encrypted channels.

To say that Scherezade was pissed would have been an understatement. She had agreed to come to Shadow's Point and help with the more subtle and sneaky aspects of some of the Pathfinders' training eons ago, but due to schedule constraints, hadn't been able to actually do so before now. Having arrived some time earlier, the Crow had immediately taken to the suit allotted to her, taken a good long shower, and had then geared up completely.

Only to find the training halls completely empty.

Was this another joke? Had someone manipulated the orders to make her come here for nothing? Certainly, she heard the commotion from outside, and on another day that alone might have made her pause for a moment to consider that maybe training wasn't important while someone was attacking the entire castle, but at that point, she was already pissed.

BANG the very walls shook.

Scherezade had no kraks to give.

Stomping through the darkened halls of the castle, she made her way. Never having been an official recruit had never kept her from learning general default layouts for places like this, and locating the barracks was hardly a challenge. Force knew she'd done such things often enough back when she was fresh out of the pebble. She had every intention of finding each and every novice Pathfinder within the castle and dragging them to the training halls by the ears, tails, or any other body part she deemed fit. And once her anger was satiated, once she felt like she could easily breathe without wanting to check how many times you had to bang someone's head against a stone wall before it cracked open and you had brains oozing out (spoiler: only one on a good day), she could find a certain Mandragora man that she knew was within the castle as well.

What she had not expected though, was to run into [member="Tallara"]. Did she know this person? She couldn't remember the face, tail, or smell of the blood, but the blue female knew who she was, since she referred to her by name.

What was going on? What an odd-

Scherezade paused.

Oh damn. MOTHERKRAKKERS! That was why the training halls had been empty. The Blood Hound fought the very strong urge to face palm herself.

"Castle's under attack," she answered and turned around, motioning for the blue one to come with her, "If they haven't woken up the sleepers I guess it means the shields are up and they think they've got enough time."

Scherezade shook her head. No. It was probably not the reason. "Cover your ears," she said to the girl, and turned around to look at the barracks. She took a sharp inhale, and then let it loose – a scream, aided by the Force, strong enough to shake the walls for domestic reasons rather than the bombing that was happening outside. Her loud message was probably heard on other floors as well. "WAKE THE KRAK UP, WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!"

That should do it. "We're going to find the grown ups and maybe punch them in the face if there's enough face left by the time we remove the enemy," she announced her plans to the blue skinned girl then, grinning, "What's your name?"

Sister.

Kelsie had been beside Luna every step of the way. Combat brought allies closer, and the Dauntless had seen more than their fair share since Kelsie had joined the commandos. Pirates, slavers, Mandalorians -- nothing had stopped them. They'd watched each others backs, taken care of their squads. But this time... it was different. That difference permeated Kelsie's thoughts every moment of the bumpy ride as their transport headed dirtside.

Still, with the final jolt as the ship hit the ground, Kelsie's mind flicked into high gear. It was then that she was struck about what a terrible idea this was. As her squad filed out and she laid eyes on Shadow's Point, it really began to sink in. They'd landed just outside the shield protecting the base, meaning it'd be hell to get now that the defenders had been alerted by the pointless orbital bombardment. It seemed that the CDF's commanders were as incompetent as ever. For a while it'd seemed that the Dauntless would escape such characterization, but now Luna was a general. Kelsie wondered why she hadn't objected to such a clearly terrible plan.

She also wondered why the Dauntless were being sent in. It quite literally said in the job description -- the commandos weren't Force hunters. Sure, the armor might protect them against Force abilities, but a lightsaber against them was like a hot knife through butter. Only in this instance would Kelsie trust droids more than a good soldier. It was too late now.

Her hands settled nicely into place on her rifle, tapping lightly as she waited for Luna to finish talking. Her suspicions about this whole operation had been raised, but she couldn't object now. All she could do was protect the people around her... didn't mean she wouldn't gripe about it. "I hope you realize how dumb this all is," she said, once Luna had finished her little comms call. Maybe she was annoyed -- their last operation together wasn't quite as perfect as Kelsie had hoped it would be.

McKenna having been given her orders grinned, she was finally given the go ahead to make a hole through the shield. The fleet that had been setting in orbit of the planet had already began to bombard the shield that surrounded the castle, however they had not yet made the shield fall. McKenna had always been one to follow orders, she did have a talent for improvising if she needed to.

Upon taking to the air she spoke to her crew who were busy getting into their positions "To battle stations, we have our orders we are to take the shield out. But no firing on infantry. These people deserve a trial at least." As she finished speaking she heard the clang of a metal door closing behind the first gunner getting into their turret. As the small redhead brought the ship around to begin her attack run she heard the second clang of her men taking their positions. She knew that the engineer was on hand should anything go wrong.

As the ship came around McKenna was ready to fire her concussion missiles, but before she could her gunners opened fire. She could tell the shield was weakened from the bombardment it had faced . The small redhead looked through her targeting sights and squeezed the trigger. The Missiles fired from their tubes and collided with the shield and the shield flickered once more before going out completely letting the shrapnel from the missile make it through.

Members of the Confederacy Defense Force. By orders of Exarch Adron Malvern, you are to not heed the summons of Fleet Marshal La’teriag Munik; all hostile action towards the Knights Obsidian or the Apatros System is not supported by the office of Vicelord. Cease and desist all hostile actions. I repeat. Cease and desist all hostile actions.

The morning had been a mess for Kiff. Comm chatter had been to the roof, orders across the Defense Force were contradicting themselves, and the bridge of the Victator stank with fear. It had been a while since the High Marshal had stood command aboard the Invictus-class battlecruiser; it had taken heavy blows during the Battle of Tanaab, and had been sitting in a Fondor dockyard for repairs for over a month. Only a week ago had it finally been deemed spaceworthy again, fortunate enough for the mustering that the Bassadro Sector Armada had been subjected too.

As for the musters themselves, the first call to action had been from the Third Defense Fleet under the command of Fleet Marshal La’tierag Munik. The man was a Besalisk and one who’d served in the Defense Force for a long time, but besides that Kiff knew little of the Fleet Marshal. He’d never interacted nor served with the Besalisk, and from looking at his service record, Kiff had drawn up the image of a sleepy yet competent commander, more apt to serve in the rearguard than at the van. Yet this man was now leading from what all sides looked to be a sanctioned strike against the supposedly rebellious Knights Obsidian, meaning that perhaps Kiff’s assumptions were wrong.

He had been in the middle of mobilizing his Task Force when the second command had been received, this time not from the Fleet Marshal but from Exarch Adron Malvern himself, who had only just recently taken over control of the Confederacy Defense Force directly. The Exarch had countered the Fleet Marshals summons and instead ordered the Defense Force to stand down, which meant that Kiff didn’t need to do anything. But when requests sent for confirmation from the Third Fleet were return unsent, jammed by some unknown system, Kiff’s instincts told him that something wasn’t right. So, as natural as any of Kiff’s impulsive decisions were, he decided that he’d go to Apatros to
take a look for himself.

With his entire task force at his back, of course.

When Holt had heard of the Raven's plan to split off, he had mentally nodded in approval. it was wise to not draw attention to themselves, and one would be more inconspicuous than two. Of course, that did add some complications to the process, however; double the effort to get on the ship, to rendezvous, and to do all of that unnoticed. But as always, Holt had a plan; he just hoped that the Raven had put the same amount of foresight into this operation as he had.

For Holt, at least, getting onto the flagship of the Fleet Marshal was rather easy; for this mission, Holt had chosen his cover to be a shuttle pilot, a fairly-easy blow-by in terms of fabricating ranks and a backstory. One fake serial was all it took to get Holt's alias registered into the Defense Force registrar, and he had been luckily (or in truth, by design) assigned to the Red Trumpet, which happened to be escorting the flagship of the rogue Fleet Marshal. All it took were the proper launch codes, and Holt was fifteen minutes later in the docking bay of the much-larger battlecruiser. Stepping out of the shuttle's cockpit, Holt adjusted the hem of his sleeve to properly hide his underlying armor as he began to make his way to the side of the hangar, keying in the Raven [member="Ciri Jade"] on their private frequency discreetly as he walked. "I'm at the rendezvous -- where are you?"

The Fleet entered the system relatively unchallenged however it is hard to be challenged if your enemy has no clue where you are. Cypher was beginning to understand a certain breaking point in the Tactics employed by Fleet Marshal Munik, who at this moment was dead to the Confederacy. The onslaught was horrific. If Cypher did not order Munik to stand down, Shadow's Point would fall. But, but today. "I know the Ministry of Secrets has an Agent there. And here, as a matter of fact. So, spill" he said suddenly. "Rook [member="Holt"] is on charge of an Investigation concerning the Fleet Marshal" replied the same yound officer who had announc d the message from the Tigers Blood. "Contact Him and order him to report to me every...say hour. " He said. There was very little he could do beyond sending a few reinforcements to the ground. And a ln Artillery Cruiser to try and Force Muniks Hand. Eh, all's fair in the game of war.

What did Lirka see in those crazed eyes? War. That is what she saw. No, not the small civil war that raged around them what she saw was the pure and adulterated battle of old: before she had been so horribly warped and broken. She saw the burning streets of Copereo, around her the charred corpses of hundreds. She ran through a burning apartment complex, hunting her quarry. A pitiful sithling of the Jen’ari, a whelp of the nu-Empire that the Confederacy would crush under their iron boot.

Her claws shredded empty air and she snarled, finally letting out her response as she watched her quarry run and hide. Shouting out her own taunting frustrations:

“Run little Sithling, run! Your planet is already lost, your people burn!”

Of course. It just so happened to utterly apply to the current situation as well, had she had been utterly force dead one might think this was a grand joke of fate. She followed [member="Alwine Lechner"], to no one’s shock: bounding after the small little Lupine like the rampaging beast she was. The drugs pumping through her body only driving her deepened into a blood-maddened insanity, she was faster than usual. Must’ve been the legs, each long and pounding stride bringing her ever closer. Wide arcs with her Klaive trying to slash wherever able, she had reach, and she had every intent to abuse it.
