The Sith Lord was proud of his Apprentice.

When it came to matters of state, Darth Metus did not hesitate to rely upon [member="Adron Malvern"]. More often than not, he could leave matters in the former Imperial's capable hands and rest assured that everything would not go to utter chit. This scenario did nothing to impact the trust that he placed in the Exarch - for he had made the correct call in bringing the Vicelord to the battleground. This was one of the rare situations that would require the Sith's personal attention to quell - for the enemy had managed to literally impersonal Adron's orders. Moreover, the boon of technology was not on their side in the moment - as evidenced by the ongoing jamming.

The most obvious answer to this hellish scenario would have been to issue a priority communication across all channels. But with the jamming, the Sith had to ensure that his voice and presence reached all who were quarreling. There could not be room for any not to hear him - for that would spell only the prolonging to the ongoing travesty.

Ever the man of action, the Serenno native did not wait for his Master's commentary regarding the events to move. He had a part to play in bringing the madness to heel - and thus he removed himself to do so. Thus, the Vicelord was left alone to stop this.

When last Darth Metus attempted this...his sibling's life was forfreit. Maramere was the first time that Confederate forces bore witness to the full extent of their Vicelord's might - and thus his subordinates would know the mark of his power. While orders and transmissions could be counterfeit, a literal manifestation of the Dark Side could not. Thus, with his mind focused solely on ascension, midnight cloaked the Sith Lord. Billows of shadow formed and roiled off of his person, rising into a cluster above his head. The mass of black soon contorted and twisted by his will. Shaping and molding into a former reminiscent of both man and beast.

Massive wings soon outstretched.

The Wraith of the Vicelord soared into the heavens.

And upon breaching the void of space, the boom of the Sith's voice rang out. It roared into the minds of every soul who fought this day and carried with it the hard truth.

This is your Vicelord. Listen well to my words:
You. Have. Been. Deceived. Lay down your arms!
This deceit has come to an End.
