Character Diana Sophistica

med.jpg

NAME: Diana Sophistica "The emerald flame"

FACTION: Confederacy of independent systems.

RANK: Jedi Knight.

SPECIES: Human.

AGE: Her visible age would range between 40 to 45, however her actual age is 41.

SEX: Female

HEIGHT: 2,10 meter tall.

WEIGHT: Without prosthetics: 60 kg, with prosthetics: 68 kg.

  • FORCE SENSITIVE: Diana is force sensitive and has been trained in the force for many years. Having achieved a high level of adequacy with the use and sensing of the force.

FORCE ABILITIES: Diana knows a wide range of force abilities. Through training with her teacher Rin'd Wailla, she has achieved a relatively high level of ease of use with the abilities she has. However a few of her most important ones are:

Force sight: Having lost partial vision in her left eye, Diana compensates with a weak form of Force Sight. She uses the force to show the world that her left eye blurs and distorts. This skill however is not one she is very skilled at. She maintains it at all times to hopefully one day master it completely however. Her left eye shines with a faint green light when observed in the dark..

Force push/pull: With a relative decent amount of control, Diana can lift objects that are of varying sizes and weight. Her range for comfortable movement is about as high as her physical strength, however with strain she can exceed that limit.

Force enhancement: Having lost both an arm and a leg, Diana has been using force enhancement for most of her time training as a padawan and Jedi knight. She is gifted with the skill, but by no means is she a master over it yet. Often being able to maintain it for most the fight, but needing to focus on her artificial limbs to have them keep up with her natural limbs.

Cryokinesis: While she generally does not use this power if she does not need too, when her master fell to the dark side, she was taught the Cryokinesis skill. This allows her to cool down areas, objects or people around her. She acquired a mastery of this that allows her to create small pockets of cold that can drop below freezing. She still trains this power every day, believing it to be a power that does not belong to the dark side of the force, but a more neutral one.

  • STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
    Strength:

    - Diana has excellent control over her emotions. Not quite as stable as the original Jedi order would prescribe, she does get bouts of emotional outbursts. However due to rigorous training, she can make her focus return at very fast rates. This leads her to also be incredibly patient.

    - Diana is proficient in the use of her prosthetics. Having had them for a few years, she has a near natural fluidity in their movement. The maintenance of them she does by herself if she has too.

    - Diana has been trained in multiple weapons beyond the standard lightsaber. She holds a storage of many different weapons at her ship together with many types of armor. She prefers to wear armor that allows for flexible movement. During training she will often wear heavy metal armors to increase her stamina.

    - Diana can see in the dark to some extend. Her force sight ability allows her a limited boost to her vision (mainly in the left eye that has been damaged) and while in pure darkness, the force vision can be used to see.

    Weaknesses:

    - Diana is an amputee, her prosthetic, once detach, make her vulnerable to attacks and leave her with little ways to defend herself.

    - When Diana is extremely tired, she will not be able to use force sight to compensate for the lack of vision in her left eye.

    - Diana is very caring, she was more spartan once, but now feels almost like a mother towards her young padawan.

    - Diana is not a fan of heat, having been trained in warm environments as a form of strengthening, she has grown to dislike it greatly when she is too hot.

    - The extensive scarring of her skin (predominantly her left side) has left Diana with with many visible scars (refer to list of scars), her skin is also burned in several places and as such she is looking for a force user that can teach her a method of using the force to lessen her pain. Until then, she is in constant pain, which she has learned to hide extremely well.

  • EYES: A shining emerald green. Her left eye having been lightly damaged by a battle.

HAIR: A bright fiery red bush of long hair sprout from her head. Diana braids pieces of her hair and adorns them with small silver ornements that she fashioned during her own training as a padawan.

SKIN: Her skin is relatively pale. A soft pink hue makes her cheeks blush while she is likely slightly paler then average.

    APPEARANCE:
    Body:
Diana has a rather muscular build body. Her body fat being rather low and even having a physique that many would be jealous of in terms of both low fat percentage and muscles. Her womanly shapes still clear through this, she binds her chest, a practice she maintained ever since she had been a teenager. Her overall skin smooth with the exceptions of the scar's that litter her body. As a result she often wears clothing to cover it up as best she can. Her face has rather defined cheekbones and eyes that are normally resting in a somewhat comforting look. Her ears are pierced for the sake of being able to wear earrings, however she is not in the habit of wearing them often.

Scars: Her left arm and leg are both amputated as a result of horrifying wounds inflicted upon her. As a result her body is left with very severe scarring at the points where the prosthetics attach to her body itself. She also has several areas of burn wounds, healed scar tissue and a few very visible scars among others the one on her left eye. Her eye itself is also damaged, making it function far less then the unharmed one. She also has a scar between her breasts, one that is nearly never visible as a result of the binding she uses, it being a reminder of the betrayal of her master, she sometimes meditates while focusing on it.

    Prosthetics:
Description: Diana has lost her arm at around the socket, meaning she needed to have a replacement that covers nearly the entirety of the lost limb. Her prosthetic is currently rather basic, however it does feature the ability to be improved. So far it allows for natural rotation with a few extra degrees of rotational freedom and the ability to be attached and removed using a nerve controlled hatch. This means that the limb is able to be removed by herself and worked on if she wishes to (an activity she has gotten used to at this point). It is primarily red with metallic iron plates used as accents. The pieces are fashioned with various quality of gear, however she has made it a point to keep the hand and lower arm looking good. She does not hide the prosthetics often and as such very small damages can be seen on it.
    vladislav-ociacia-cyber-arm-7.jpg

Description: In comparison to her arm, the left leg has been damaged substantially less. Though it is lost, she maintains her hip bone and the upper leg that she was born with. Her prosthetic starts just above her knee joint and has virtually no discernible difference in look or appearance from a normal leg when covered up. The leg follows a similar color scheme of red with metallic, and has the same property of functioning as a perfectly attuned replacement limb. This too can be removed at will. Her leg is rather heavy compared to the other leg however, and therefore she often trains in keeping her balance with it to ensure she has that down as second nature.

    Armor/clothes:
HI! Ehm, hello. I thought that since this isn't the part of this report that contains anything that should be assessed by someone else, I could take care of a part of the descriptions of all my armor and clothing choices. I know there are a few... I may have a bit of a hoarding problem (just please don't judge when you get to the part of this report regarding my possessions?) but it should all be fine. I am an avid collector of outfits, because I travel often of course. During my own training I was taught that armor should have been part of the Jedi training regime, but it wasn't for some reason. So instead I have found myself collecting a few. I also have specialised training armor that is heavy enough to increase my stamina when I'm not wearing it. I have a few of my outfits listed here... oh lord this isn't even half of it... eh yea, here they are...

Diana has often used multiple armor styles while fighting. This being the first she ever wore as a Jedi Knight. The layers under the bandages were plated and offered less movement then she wanted, but it was a very useful attire to practice in. She still wears it on occasion without the plating. She keeps it on a mannequin in her bedroom.
-Really? this is why I write these myself... look this outfit is not nearly as well fitting as it sounds. The plates were removed because they were uncomfortable. I do still have it though...
    drakka_by_denahelmi_dbpbwsi-fullview.jpg
Currently Diana does not use this armor unless she needs too, but the dark durable armor is surprisingly not as dark as it's name implies. The armor was made especially to blend in with her prosthetic and is still seeing some use when the need for heavy armor is required. The armor is made of multiple layers of durable metals and can be used to increase her weight significantly to increase her ability to withstand heavy charges.
    - Fun fact, this armor is actually padded on the inside. Its surprisingly comfortable. However its very heavy when not using my Force abilities and while I am all for that, not during actual combat. I appreciate the extra work people put into it though, but I don't think its fair to call it great...

The armor known as the 'ceremonial battle armor' is in fact one of the only sets of armor that Diana did not make herself. This piece is for ceremony and that use only, even though she has had very little use for it. It is however a fully developed suit of armor that can be worn into combat.
-Look... this armor is great. Its a bit tight but its great. The thing is that it has such few pockets I NEED the utility belt. That's a big lesson, get a belt on armor since they often aren't provided with one. The armor besides that took a long time to have made, and while I'm happy with it, I often wear the compete battle armor instead of this one... Don't tell anyone but I'm still waiting for a chance to wear it to something grand.
    4cf7dc7935a5b3e225588490766d59a4.jpg
The battle armor is the full armor that Diana often appears in. Not often do we see a Jedi who wears such armor, but it perfectly complements her style. having an armored prosthetic covered in a separate layer of armor, and the ability to withstand a fair decent hits, this armor is also used as a training armor if the 'dark durable armor' isn't used in that function.
    - Ah this armor is great. It looks cool and to be honest, it makes me feel most comfortable while in a battle. The armor may not be standard attire for a Jedi, but I sure as hell love it.

The armor, hoarded from a body during a battle on Port Nowhere, she collected it and has since altered it to fit her needs. It retains the original modular and technical spec's, only its been altered on a color basis.
-Look... I know it wasn't mine to take... But I should really admit that its such a useful armor. It makes me a real fantasy fighter... more so then I normally already do... I think at least. I'm sorry for taking it but I love it... only not the helmet... it keeps messing up my hair.

The armour known as the 'armoured body glove' by Diana is one of the few armours she acquired through purchase. She acquired it with the intent of wearing it during high stakes combat, where heavy armour is unsuited, or to wear under other armour.
-Is it a tight fit? Yes, but it hides my arm and leg and that is what I like about it. Its also very handy and for once not very heavy. So it is surprisingly comfortable to wear... I may have actually worn it outside combat situations... Remember to delete that part later.

This armor is entirely for the utility it provides. Often being used as a way to have the bodyglove work as a support piece more then the main armor itself.
-Ok... here is the deal. Its too flashy. It does its job but it needs to be worn under things cause I refuse to walk around in just this... enough said.

Having a pretty heavy collection of armor, Diana also collected several set's she would use to teach her padawan in a traditional style. As such she acquired this at the Jedi academy. She wears the outfit rather sparsely as it is too warm for her liking, but it is perfectly suitable for cold weather.
-Look, this outfit is really warm. I don't know how other Jedi do it. It looks neat, but I generally have outfits that fit the occasion better. So, this is more... to look good I guess?

During her training as a Jedi, her master turned to the dark side. As she did not believe in the classic philosophy of light and dark as strongly as he did, it took her a long time to realise this shift. During this period she would be in the habit of collecting outfits that made her feel in tune with the force abilities she practices. This is one such an outfit. The outfit finds use when she goes to meet with people who are more predominant into the dark side, and hides her prosthetic perfectly.
-I know I'm 30... plus... but look this outfit is just too cool. I love it even though it's a bit edgy sure, it fits really nice. Also capes are cool... I guess the main problem is that I really don't know how people expect me not to flourish the cape all the time?

While the name implies the color of the cloth is in fact not emerald. This armor, by now one of the two signature Jedi apparel she owns, has become the cloth wear of choice while training with her padawan. It may reveal a bit more then she would want, but she felt a strong desire to wear it and has since incorporated it into her wardrobe. Despite the many glances she gets.
-Look this is just too comfortable not to wear. Also the fun fact is, that while with my padawan, I'm often isolated so its not as embarrassing to wear it.
    02be16afd36f73bcbf2a28ea70c8d098.jpg
During meetings with light side users, Diana uses a mix of pieces from her heritage cloth and a light entered appearance. The outfit itself being relatively comfortable, if perhaps a bit bright, it hides the arms with long leather gloves that are surprisingly comfortable to wear. She often finds herself disliking the hood it comes with though, as her hair gets tangled up in it.
-This armor is... wait that description is completely correct... ok yea its all true. Look I have long hair, and the ornaments get tangled easily. Also the additional belts are great but it lacks a lightsaber holster.
    c77978009042b3e4031c83d8c353f687.jpg

One day Diana was on a mission for the order when she managed to defeat an opponent wearing the armor. In honour of the fight and a mild case of collectors insanity, she took the clothing set with her with the express desire to wear it. Wearing it however, resulted in her being shy over its revealing nature and now stands as a monument to the woman who fought with her on equal footing while being so very confident.
-Look who found this! No one was supposed to know this. I will eternally deny that I have this. It's not in my wardrobe between the red dress and the other outfit I wore that one time... I'm just gonna shut up... now burn this image...

  • BIOGRAPHY:
As a young girl Diana was born on a freight ship. Her parents were both workers on the ship "The Alturia's vision". While they were busy people, they spend as much time with Diana as they could. Often she would wonder around the ship and play with the many adult's around who would entertain her. She was kind, a bit naive and above all else extremely energetic. Her mother would often let her help with small repairs in the ship when she was only 10 years old, and her father (who was the functional cook of the ship) would often have her help him with strange new idea's for a dish. The many people on board were a family to Diana, having her play at the ready room of the captain when he was out (especially so she could look at the pretty fish he had). It took her until she was 12 before she was taught how to read and write, something she practices mercilessly while going through the little imitation of a school that the ship had become for her. It was on the ship that she also found out that she was force-sensitive. When she did, her parents became fearful of the power she held. Not wanting her to waste something they claimed could do so much good, but would be of little use on the ship. They spend a year having her practice on her own until she was brought before a Jedi Master of the new Jedi order. The man, a Twi'lek by the name of Rin'd Wailla was ordered to come and take young Diana under his care.

Rin'd Wailla was a kind man, late into his life he arrived at the ship that Diana lived at to meet his future padawan. His believes that the light side was the only way to raise a child was a direct reason for Diana's parents to, after just 1 meeting, decide that it was important that she should join him. Diana wasn't angry at her parents, she was 15 at that point and expected that her parents would wish only the best for her. It took her a few days to pack up and be ready, and during those days Rin'd would often give her tips and explanation to make her use the force for tasks. Her young mind entranced by this newfound power, becoming more excited to become a Jedi master herself one day. After a week of preparations, she left the ship that was once her home to join master Rin'd to his ship in order to train.

Through 7 years, the Twi'lek taught the young woman compassion and balance. He was on many missions and often took her with him. It was during one of these missions she was taught about the power of Force Sight. A power that would allow a blind Jedi, to see. It was fascinating to her but felt like it would be beyond her and not useful with her two usable eyes. Master Rin'd also made sure to teach her how to fight using multiple weapons, besides lightsabers. Not just that, but within lightsaber combat, he ensured that she had mastery to a high degree of all forms. At this point, after the 7 long years, at the age of 22, she and Master Rin'd were taken hostage during a mission. Diana managed to escape, but her master was left in a torture room for many hours before she could break him free. In a hail of blaster fire she had to run with the man in her arms to the ship they now called home.

This experience changed the two for the worse. Diana was left with a burn wound on her side that was difficult to heal, resulting in a burn that she has to this day. The experience made her realise she needed to be physically stronger too, to be a better vessel for the force. This lead her to train hard, beyond the realms of normalcy for a while, and become determined to never be defeated again. Her master was hurt much more. His mind was shattered and he no longer could teach young Diana to be a Jedi of the light. He instead taught her of the dark side, which she felt was much better suited to keep people alive. She herself nearly fell to the dark side, until the final day where she would stand on her own two feet.

It was an early morning on a planet that had no temperature above freezing. Diana stood in the trance of her force meditation as she readied herself for the final test her master would put her through. He took her by the shoulder and sat her down, knighting her as a Jedi Knight before asking her to take up her weapon. The place she stood had nearly every weapon she was trained in, laying in a circle. Her armor had been prepared, and he stood waiting for her to start. The test he placed upon her was to end his life, or have her own ended. It was a simple but heartbreaking command he yelled over the howling winds. Her soul freezing at the thought of it, while she stood with the saber she had made together with the man's watchful eyes that now beckoned her to end him. She refused, only to see the man nod and lower his weapon. A tear ran down his face as he approached her. He approached her and requested her lightsaber. As she followed his order, he placed the hilt against her chest and with the still burning hot end, he crushed the space between her breasts. The charred hole bleeding heavily she used the dark side Cryokineses to freeze it and with her last power grab the man she once felt as being her master. In a desperate attempt the clung to him and forced herself to fall with him down the cliff they had stood on. Landing after only a few meters, the woman saw her limbs and body grow hazy as her landing shattered her leg and arm. Taking most of it with the rocks, her face now covered on the left in big wounds, and her left eye damaged beyond repair. Her vision stalled for a moment, and she would only wake up a week later, as the medical droid finished the final operation. Amidst the operation she now felt alien to herself. Half her body nearly unharmed (save a few small wounds) while her other half was in need of more then a few miracles. It was this moment, she also decided that no matter what force side you wield, its about application, as the dark side cryokineses had saved her, but harmed non.

It had been some years since last Diana had been on the frozen planet where she had lost her master. Her sight now altered by force sight, her leg and arm replaced by metal replacements that sounded heavy and moved as natural as ever. Wounds now healed and her face only having a few of them left, she stood before the corpse of what had once been her master. It took a moment before she returned from her mission, to pass the corpse once more. Her weapons from the encounter of over 10 years ago, still on the ground where he left them. These weapons found their place in "The red hare", Diana's ship. Within it a room of her collection of things, little naivety left in the woman. Her status as Jedi knight made official years before at the order she had left prior to the mission she was on. It had not felt like a home anymore. Being brought before her parent's in the state she had been, getting back on her feet while her parents were worried every day, was the worst thing her master could have ever done to her. It took her nearly 3 years to return to active duty and now she had, she often returned to her parents to ensure them she was OK. Having now retired to a small planet in a safe system, she often would help them if she could. Having become a motherly figure with the years, she would continue to bind her breast and wear the armor she was taught about by her former master, but had now believed that all the Jedi should enact more grey philosophy.

As she continued on her mission she arrived at a slavers post. Her now black armor with heavy chain mail padding reflecting the harsh sunlight on the planet as she infiltrated the area and saved the young (this part will be finished once my padawan joins)

Outside her life with the padawan, Diana had gotten into the habit of collecting many items. Armor and clothing for different occasions, and weapons to practice with. She had a flair for romance and would often read slow burn romance novels with as little drama as possible. A sad reflection on how much she was not able to realise a flirt until many minutes after she had seen the person last. She was often alone within her ship "The Red Hare" and had a love to dance within her quarters or sing while moving through the ship. The food often came from the receipts of her father, neatly penned down in a notebook for her. While perhaps a bit quirky and unique, Diana often enjoyed herself immensely with many things and found learning a pursuit she should never give up. As such she had just recently taken up gardening and a great variety of puzzles.

  • Lightsabers:
Diana owns a customised lightsaber she created during her training. The hilt features various elements, including a handle that can be loosened to have an extended rod added. This features allows the lightsaber to be used as a lightpike. Her mastery of the weapon is high, and her's is crafted to be easy to handle by the woman. It's dark tanned metal is offset by dark red accents, along with a clearly visible light blue crystal that produces a bright ice-blue blade. The hilt is also made to be weighted slightly differently then most lightsaber's. Diana's lightsaber is weighted slightly to the top, which she offsets with a pummel that is slightly heavier then normal. The result is a comfortable grip for her. The hum of the blade is often noted by her as being pleasing to listen too.

Diana also collected the lightsaber from her former master. A particular gold-bladed lightsaber that was made to be extremely light in the hand. It contrasts so heavily to her own that there are only a few instances that she uses it. Often she would keep it in her ship's bedroom. The hilt featured a looped pummel that made it easier to carry, and a far more light colored frame. While it is well maintained, Diana generally only uses it when she knows there is a use for it. The blade does produce a hum when used that Diana finds unpleasing, in contrast to her own.

    SHIP:
Diana owns a small, light freighter. She named the ship "The Red Hare", after a story she was told as a child. The ship is, ironically, not red. While it's look is slightly altered as a result of tinkering, it's statistics are identical to a standard light freighter. Within she has room for 4 personal quarters, of which she uses 1 herself, and 1 for a storage of objects she collects. The cargo bay is used for extensive training when it's empty. The places that she uses for her relaxation are mainly decorated with colors like white and blue, and often feature a place to sit and read. The ship is often used as a home base by her, and it's equipped with a workstation for her armors, lightsabers, and prosthetics specifically.

    Droids:
    Link to factory
Diana owns a Bershig War Forge Consolidated BMD-01 Vhe'viin Battlefield Mechanic Droid. She mainly uses this droid for small repairs around her ship as well as helping her with a variety of small repairs to her prosthetics. She used to do those herself but ended up getting out of her depth with new upgrades she was planning on using. Her overall skill being high with the droid and being able to repair a lot with the two of them, she acquired a bigger droid for her future improvements and heavy involvements that she is planning to have. The small droid "Orange Kitten" (or Kitten for short) is a somewhat quirky thing, but a very welcome addition to her crew.
    Vulcan_Drone.jpg

    Link to factory
After acquiring Orange Kitten, Diana realized she needed an extension to its capabilities. She decided to work on getting a full blown helping droid for her ship. Integrated with Red Hare's AI she got the maintenance droid she called 'Blue Squid'. It works flawlessly with her ship's AI to make maintenance of her ship minimal. Often she has all the maintenance of her prosthetics done by Blue Squid and Orange Kitten, the two working in tandem while she manages them, eliminating some of the personal handicap she has with only one hand. Her ship now being able to be defended while she is gone as well, she plans to provide the Droid with weapons at some point. For the time being, she is happy with the droids she has. While some find Squid to look creepy, she just finds them cute.
